Great design and quality, but be prepared for costly errors and delays
Our designer was friendly and patient and helped us design a functional and great-looking kitchen. However, from there things went downhill. The production drawings arrived with many errors, most of which I thankfully spotted. What nobody noticed, however, is that the production drawings were made using the initial rough measurements taken by the designer rather than the later precise measurements taken by the lead installer. This meant that the panels on either side of our fridge left a massive gap to the back wall, with voids on either side. ...The height of the rangehood cupboard was also inexplicably changed from the production drawings that I approved. When I requested that these items be fixed, it took about 6 weeks before they showed up - with the new rangehood cupboard arriving in the same wrong dimensions! At this point the delays had already cost us ~$4000 so I accepted the installers improvised solution so we could get the stone benchtop and splashback installed and move in. Communication was also terrible regarding the location and installation of kickboards, which resulted in delays and problems with installing our floating floorboards. I requested on multiple occasions to speak with a manager to discuss compensation, all of which were ignored. In total, it took over 2 months just for our kitchen to be installed and 4 months in total from the point at which we approved production. The final product looks great, but I'd never use Apollo again. The delays, stress and budget blowout just aren't worth it.
