Took my money and didnt provide the product

I lost an airpod, so went online to the apple replacement/repair, they took my money, for 3 weeks they kept telling me my order was delayed and I just needed to wait (2 phone calls on hold for 40 and 50 mins), then I complain about the wait and they tell me after 3 weeks that the address is incorrect and have cancelled the order, I ring to find out WHAT and they tell me another version that the payment was incorrect and they have sent my money back, my money was not received, lost my money and no replacement, how can it be this hard to order something from apple. Time to look at another brand, how does a company this big get away with it, have reported them to fair trading and waiting for a response. Show details

Perfect for all activities, including long-distance running. Even bought a second pair!

After doing a considerable amount of research into wireless earbuds, I decided to give the Apple AirPods (2nd Gen) a try, and I can safely say, I am so happy I did!

I primarily use the AirPods for exercise, including long-distance running. They stay in my ears even when jumping or sweating.

The wireless charging case is wonderful. So easy to charge when Im on the go.

They are so easy to use in concert with my iPhone. You literally just put them in and they pair immediately. I also love that you can tap one side to stop the music and tap the other to skip songs. The sound quality is great.

I am so reliant on my AirPods that I bought a second pair to keep at work.

Highly recommend. Show details

Disappointing

Not worth it. If one airpod disconnects during a call, it's almost impossible to reconnne t it without a major stuff around. I don't have much confidence in them and the sounds not so remarkable that I would say, yes, I got $200 worth. The product is overrated. Show details

When they work

I have had these headphones for about 12months.
When they work they are great but 40% of the time they don’t connect properly even though they are charged and directly next to the phone they don’t connect or they drop out or the other person cannot hear you even though you can hear them perfectly.
It is so frustrating and makes them less than ideal especially when apple promotes itself as the great technological wizards.
They should work much better than they do. Show details

Not worth the money or the hype with terrible customer service

I had to return them within one month after purchase due to people not being able to hear me when I made voice calls. This involves a lot of back and forth as they try to troubleshoot everything without them blaming hardware for as long as they can. 1.5 years later out of their warranty period, the same issue came up again and after significant back and forth they informed me it would cost $238 to fix when you can buy a brand new pair for less. I won't be buying apple again Show details

Quite disappointed, the usability is very poor, constant connection issues! Tapping sensor stopped working after year

Good quality sound, shape of the pods fit great in my ear out of all the other brands. Connectivity is quite poor, can't use them for phone calls at home there seems to be some signal interference. Can't change songs by tapping sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't, had them for just over a year so can't exchange. Not worth the price in my eyes was expecting more! Show details

Overall good earphones

Good sound quality when using these airpods. Great for listening to music and conversing through phone calls. Battery-life could improve since I use it whenever I'm on my device so charging takes a little more time than expected Show details

Awesome product but some flaws

I listen to music with these headphones and they are very useful. Are good for physical activities but can get knocked out easily. They have cut out a few times but are otherwise extremely good. The only problem I have with them is that one earbud goes flat quicker than the other. I assume that this is because one airpod is the main airpod but it can get quite annoying. A tad overpriced but overall a great product. Show details

They don’t stay in your ear
Impossible to walk or exercise without having them consistently slip out of your ear

Very good quality and extremely easy to set up

Great for listening to podcasts, talking books & music while keeping my hands free. Very happy with the sound quality and range. And so easy to set up using iPhone. Easy to control volume, etc using Siri although the response from the wired ear pods is a lot faster than Siri (ie if you need to reduce your volume or turn off your music quickly).
The Airpods seem to stay in my ears well for most activities, but for peace of mind while doing more active things which require more body movement, I use ear hooks.  Show details

Lost you then I found you

I bought a set when they first come out and loved them. I then lost one and never got around to getting a replacement. I stopped travelling to work so had no need to use them. Then came lockdown and I started walking every day. I needed my AirPods, the corded earphones were just not cutting it. It was like welcoming an old friend when I popped them in for the first time again. I love the convenience, the sound quality and the range these babies have. Buy them you won't regret it! Show details

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions about Apple Airpods 2nd Gen with Charging Case

What is the difference between the normal Charging Case and the Wireless Charging Case?

While both cases can be carried around in your pocket and will recharge your Airpods on-the-go, there are two different ways to recharge the case itself. The normal case charges by plugging a cable into the wall, the same way many devices are charged. The Wireless Case can also be recharged using a wireless charging pad (with the normal cable charge also being a back-up option). So if you don't have (or don't want to buy) a wireless charging pad, there's no need to pay extra for the Wireless Charging Case.
