Best iPad I've owned.

I've had an ipad2 32gb ( wifi) since 2011 and it's still going strong... but it's a little slow and the battery isn't what it was... so time to upgrade.
Optus had an offer for the iPad Pro 256 gb wifi and 4g with 10 gb of shareable data for $70 per month (35 for the iPad, 35 for the data).

This new iPad has a bigger screen although the case isn't all that different in size to the previous iPads. Not hear that covers and cases for other iPads will not fit this iPad Pro 10.5!

The screen resolution is fantastic and clear.

I use the iPad to view tv and movies.... this is superb what with the great display and four speakers.

Apps load extremely quickly too.

Can't wait to see how iOS 11 will further improve this machine.

Negatives? It's not cheap.... hence why the optus 24 x $35 pm on the data plan selected made so much sense.

Finally got it 100% right

So as part of my ritual I upgrade all devices from laptops to phones and everything in between in June for tax purposes! 2017 allowed me to pick up the 10.5 iPad Pro just released in Rose Gold 256g wifi & cellular .

This iPad is amazing, with crisp clean graphics and ultra fast response time - it is everything you have hoped and more from an Apple product.

The iPad Pro is the perfect size and probably what they should have done first instead of the 12.5 inch. The quality of the Retina display is beautiful deep rich colors and fast response time no lag with video play back!

I won't include everything here purely because the iPad is the same as all the others in generic features other than to say that the size is perfect this time around

One of the draw backs on this model and this is also something that happens with the the 12.5 inch pro also is the charging time is incredibly slow I believe mine take almost 13 hrs to fully charge but in saying that it lasts a while if not used often.

I would absolutely recommend this iPad to students, professionals and for general home users. Combined with the Apple Pencil the clean art apps let the artist in you roam wild with the possibilities with smooth connectivity across all devices and accessories.

The iPad Pro is very very expensive, and very very good.

I needed a versatile tablet with 'always on' connectivity, so for a few hundred dollars more, I got the 4G version. I've always owned a cellular iPad since the 3, and it's just so convenient even if tethering is easy enough to do.
The iPad is well built, as with all Apple products, and with iOS 11 coming, it will really replace your laptop for 'basic' tasks. The battery life is top notch and the screen is gorgeous. The tablet form factor is still alive and well in 2017, you just have to think different. With a device this thin and a huge app ecosystem (good apps at that), you'll not regret this purchase. If you're an artist, the Pencil is a must have. Overall, it's a very expensive device, but will surely last a long time.
