Excellent cheaper alternative to the more expensive iPhonesThe 2020 iPhone SE proves that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get a good iPhone. While the features found in the 11 Pro are definitely nice to have, they’re not essential to a good iPhone experience. The iPhone SE has the A13 Bionic processor, which is the same as the iPhone 11/11 Pro. Although it’s difficult to do a comparison regarding performance as I don’t have the Pro model to test, it definitely doesn’t feel slow. Apple could’ve opted for a less powerful processor and used the excuse that this iPhone is a budget model, but including... Read more the latest one means that you’ll get software updates for years to come, and the phone shouldn’t slow down. I own the S20+ as my main device, but bought the iPhone SE as a second device to use alongside my iPad. While battery life definitely doesn’t compare with the more expensive iPhone models, it still lasts me all day with moderate usage. The iPhone SE does have a very small battery, but Apple’s excellent software optimisation means that it won’t be as bad as you might assume. The camera is more than adequate for those Instagram photos and while reviewers are saying it’s not as good as the Pro models, I haven’t used an iPhone 11 Pro, therefore I’m not missing out on anything. Touch ID is more reliable than the likes of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on my Galaxy S20, and may be particularly useful in today’s climate considering Face ID doesn’t work with masks. Sometimes older technology is better. If you’re looking for a no-thrills iPhone to do the basics (social media, phone calls etc), the iPhone SE won’t disappoint. But if you’re looking for a phone that will last all day with heavy usage, I would suggest looking at phones with bigger batteries (the iPhone 11, for example). Overall, I would say that the iPhone SE is for someone who can’t/won’t spend over $1000 on a flagship iPhone, but can’t afford to leave the Apple ecosystem in search for a cheaper Android device.
Great phoneLove the two sim option! Easy to transfer data over from old phone, cheap option with a lot of new features which proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to get a good phone. Show details
Great battery life and great cameraFor the price of this phone it has everything the more expensive models have to offer, just in the older shell. Great battery, camera and hardware. Definitely a great option. Show details
Fits to my small handPreviously, I used iPhone5S. I thought that iPhones are getting too big but SE is "original size" to me, fitting my relatively small hand. My thumb can cover the most in the display area without hustle nor nerves. I like its dual SIM since I travel abroad a lot. Show details
Seamless transition from iPhone 6 to iPhone SEThe whole process of getting a new iPhone SE was very simple. The hardest part was the COVID process of getting into the Apple Store. iPhone SE is basically an iPhone 8 shape (for case and glass cover screen) with iPhone 11 processor and insides. It does not have the great cameral of the iPhone 11 but it is half the price. Apple Store staff were very helpful and even suggested a better and cheaper place from which to get the cover and protective screen.
The Apple family is like a religious sect. Once you and other family members have an Apple yo gain numerous benefits such as location support and family sharing for music, books and Apps. Therefore, I did not even consider other brands. Show details
Very satisfied with iPhone SE (2020) performanceI purchased new iPhone SE (2020) from Apple Store Brisbane 18 months ago. I'm very satisfied with device performance. Great value for $704. Has all the features I need. I have no idea why Choice has not rated this smart phone higher? I agree with Techradar smart phone reviewer .... ‘This isn't Apple's most powerful iPhone, but it's the best value for people who want to stick with iOS 13 without paying through the nose. Its screen technology won't wow you like an iPhone 11 Pro, and there's just one camera on the back, but starting AU$749 it's ea... Read moresily the most affordable new iPhone currently on the market. Simply put, the iPhone SE (2020) is hard to beat if you're on a budget and don't want to switch to Android.’ Note: Techradar rated iPhone SE (2020) #6 out of all smart phones on market. Happy to recommend.

Everything you need in a phone at a good priceThis phone has a wonderful sleek design, the camera quality is good, runs fast and smoothly, apps run smoothly, aside from the outside appearance I would say it is comparable to the more expensive models of iphones Show details
Dissapointed both have issues 1 week on!!!!I bought two new SE iphones one week ago for myself and my daughter
Both have started glitching. Dropping out of apps, sound cuts out, screen goes blank, bumps itself off Bluetooth
They are both 7-10 days old.
Love my iphones but so disappointed with these ones already Show details
LITTLE BEAUTYLove this little red phone. I had the 8 plus & this is easier for me to hold & put in my pocket etc. It is quick to respond with downloading apps, browsing the internet & in general. I am stoked this phone came out as I don’t like the other versions of the iPhone after the 8. I’m using the iPhone 8 cover/case for my phone. Bought the case cheap from Kmart for $5.00. Purchased the iPhone SE 128gb from Officeworks for $827.00. Show details
Everything basic what you needFirst of all, it feels so good in my hand, it's not too big. Great sound full function same chip as iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 pro ( the newest in the market at the moment ) and the price does not break your wallet. Show details
