Forced to wipe phone because of bad advice
Went into Apple to purchase a phone cover. Whilst chatting with the assistant I told them I forgot my passcode but could enter the phone with the finger print. They told me not to worry, keep trying as if I got locked out I could use the passcode. Wrong. I got locked out for a minute, they said, no issue that I can enter with my finger print once the minute was up. Also wrong. Long story short, Apple had to wipe my whole phone in order to start again. Thank goodness I knew my Apple ID & could get that password. When I asked why the staff gave m...
Read moree that advice she said “oh, it’s not my area” .. so why give advice to customers if you don’t know what you’re doing?! When I relayed this to management, they said it’s not her fault because I came in with a locked phone. So she lied, to get herself out of trouble and not once did I hear an apology. Not a single sorry. Really poor service, Apple. For a multi billion dollar company, you should know better.Crap service
5days to replace a screen on iPhone 8. Wow what a joke and no option but to accept.
Classic example of company that has become too big.
Won’t be buying any more Apple products.

Dreadful
My MacBook Air which is only 13 months old wouldn’t turn on so I took it to one of the only 2 stores in Perth ( 2 million people What!).
I arrived got to find people queued up on the road outside to get in , the attendant said “oh you want a chat with somebody ? That’s a 3/4 hour wait”.
Ok I thought I’ll wander around , I came back at the appointed time only to be told “oh you have to wait another hour! “
So essentially they wanted us to wait on the road for almost two hours ! That’s the worst service I have ever had , Wow! That’s what happens when you give a multinational a virtual monopoly. Don’t buy Apple their service is crap.

Deceived at Apple Castle Tower Store
I visited Apple store at Castle Towers on the 26th July 2020 for a screen protector installation for two apple phones. The lady started placing my screen protector and I trusted she knows what she is doing. She gave me the phones back and I was surprised of how fine this screen protector is to the point that it covers my whole screen, but she smiled and said it’s always nice to have a fresh look. Two weeks later, on the 13th August 2020, my phone fell by accident and the screen broke. It’s not the first time my phone falls, and I had it for alm...
Read moreost 2 years now and always had the regular screen protector and it fell before but never for once broke. I thought maybe the damage is on the screen protector as it happened to me before and the screen protector took the hit. When I tried to remove it, it is when I realized that my phone does not has a screen protector. I was shocked and I asked my husband to try pull it out but no, nothing was there. I then went and got my other phone tried to pull the screen protector, but it wasn’t there as well. I was clearly deceived by Apple. At that point I was not concerned at all about the broken screen my frustration and anger was all because I trusted Apple as a worldwide well known company with this effortless job and I never thought for once that their employees could be so incompetent to the extend that they screw up on fitting a screen protector and all this time I was under the impression that I had one fitted! I went back to the store on Thursday 13th August, asked to speak to the store manager, a lady came to me, I explained what happened and mentioned clearly that the other lady did attempt to install my screen protector but it seems like she thought she did or it went wrong! She said they need to investigate the CCTV camera which I 100% supported. She came back saying it shows on the camera the lady was fitting it, which is not what I’m arguing because I mentioned from the minute I walked into the store that I was there and she did attempt to fit it but it seems like when she pulled the upper film she pulled the whole screen protector out with it. She then said she’ll demonstrate to me how a screen protector is placed. While she did it I stopped her at the point where the lady might have gone wrong, and I explained what happened exactly and she should go back to her recordings and check closely if the screen protector is actually on the phone after she was done. She refused claiming they already did, and she is happy to demonstrate it the way the lady did it to show me I’m wrong. When she started fitting it, that’s when the screen protector started to pull out with her, but because she is aware of the situation she stopped, gave it a push and then pulled the upper film. When I pointed this out, she said that could happen but not with two phones. I told her it’s the same lady who did both so it could be that she pulled it hard both times, and asked her how can she be so sure and demanded that I see the recording, she said she can’t show me the recording and she can’t be so sure of what happened because she wasn’t there at the time but because I’m saying it happened with both phones that’s why she knows 100% it’s impossible. In short, she was telling me you are lying indirectly. She then asked how she can help me because she can’t see they hold any responsibility and said they are happy to repair my screen at my own cost. I told her it’s not my mistake that my screen is full of scratches because of their incompetence, she said the scratches don’t matter and she can’t be sorry for that since the screen is broken now. I told her this could have been avoided if I had a screen protector on she said this regular screen protector does not protect the screen from breakage, I told her yes but it could have prevented it or at least prevent the scratches. And I told her I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but I’m happy the screen broke because if it didn’t and I didn’t attempt to remove the screen protector I would have never known that I never had one on both phones. She then said they can’t be held responsible for anything and she is 100% sure the screen protectors were fitted which means I’m making this up to have my phone repaired. I honestly couldn’t care less about the screen or the phone but the fact that this happened at an Apple store and how they are willing to rip-off customers Infront of their faces and not honor their staff incompetency is just disappointing and clearly shows how cheap they are becoming. I’m not sure if it’s only this branch but beware people check your things before you leave, take receipts and even videos if you have to, don’t trust the staff at the Castle Towers branch. They could easily scam you with sweet talk and you walk out not knowing what is awaiting you if you come back or complain of something. Seems like they are masters or rip-off. This is now with the NSW Fair Trading and I'll take it as far as I could because for me it's not the phone or screen it's the concept that I was deceived then made a liar at an Apple Store.DavidSouth East Queensland, QLD

Very Rude Customer Service
The first visit they kept my MacBook and stated they could not find the issue with my trackpad. They did a complete reboot of the computer. When I collected the MacBook I was not shown that the computer was working and was just handed the MacBook. When I reached home and switched on the computer I saw the trackpad was still not working. I returned the next day and handed the computer back. When I went to pick it up they returned the computer without the case. I called and spoke to Jane, who at first stated that Apple doesn't take cases but then...
Read more confirmed that the case was in store. When I told her how frustrated I was with the whole experience as I had made 3 trips in three days to the store, her response was - "We cant ship the case back to you. You should be thankful that we did not charge you anything to repair the computer. A train ride to Penrith from Blacktown takes only 20 minutes." I was amazed at her response and will never recommend anyone to this apple store in Penrith. Made me feel as if they were doing me a favour when the work on y MacBook was covered by Consumer Law Warranty. Never go to this store to repair your computer. The only reason I went there was because Castle Towers were booked out. The store Manager, Darren was covering up the bungle his staff made the first time I went there and was not helpful either. This Jane should not be working in customer service!I bought a macbook and it constantly crashed
It works right up untill warranty experies, apple doesn't actually carea bout customers, they only want your money, once my warranty experied the macbook randomly shut down every hour. After seeing an apple technician they said it was a write-off and I would have to buy another. This is just a complete scam, do NOT buy apple products.

iPhone repair
I was not satisfied by the apple store customer service due to me going there to repair my phone and had booked a day to fix my phone I was not allowed to go in the store nor was allowed time to get my phone checked and they had gave me a limited time to get a new phone which I was not there for and was told that I had a remaining time of 15 minutes to pick a new phone and get out which caused an argument between me and the employee as for the employees there were disrespectful and rude. Would never go back there.

They are just trying to make people fool
One of the worst experience I have ever had. Don’t ever believe in the discount they offer. These people think they are the only smartest people exists. We never asked for any discounts then, I don’t understand why they act like giving discounts and charge more in return. Disgusting.

Apple and Support Joke
Tell you a joke with exprienceing Apple.
My Apple phone clock is always behind
Even With Auto set by network!!
On line support couldn't do anything, even connecting remotely about 1:30-2 hours.
The system update shows there is not any available software.
And is funny with apple that, online support said, in fact there is one higher update, but your phone cannot detect it, and no manual possibility. Is not funny.
Local shop even funnier with Corona,
A jam off people in the queue start (10 in a SM), then with 20-30 meter of queue the distance 5-...

Absolutely Terrible Customer Service
Apple has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
My 1.5 year old 2018 MacBook air randomly died on me without me dropping it or anything so I went to the genius bar to figure out what’s happening. The consultant said “it just happens sometimes,” pretty much admitting that their products are trash in quality. After that, he quoted me $850 to get it fixed. Eight hundred and fifty dollars for an issue that I played no part in. He also said it is out of warranty so he can’t do anything about it. I was extremely frustrated so I called a...

30 years of Apple and now I am thinking of other options
I bought a 7th generation iPad which I use just for my Sonos. I picked it up the other day, fingers underneath thumb on top and it cracked where my thumb was. I only bought this recently and use it rarely. I booked an appointment at Macmedic and they told me I should take in to the Apple store because they had to prepay to send it in, amount $518 which is about what I paid for the new unit at Officeworks.
I went into the shop and they said I could come back in 3 hours or book an appointment for a week away. I said that I could do neither. They s...

NEVER BUY APPLE
Took a laptop for repairs and they said would fix flickering screen for no cost! Get a call a few days later telling they found the screen was not faulty so a board had to be changed at a cost of $600! The criminals just suck u in to leave the unit there and pluck some ridiculous figure from there backsided to make extra money! Pack of criminals! Apple has made me sick! I urge anyone not to buy their overpriced rubbish that last no more than 3 years!

The service at Gineus bar is not Genius at all !!!
Worst service experienced at Apple store Perth City. One Apple rep was serving three different customer at the same time.. not consumer focused at all... had to wait...wait... and wait for hours as she was just switching between three consumers and finally ended up without any solution.... and Apple rep was insisting me to buy new product.... Soory mate! Your service sucks!! No more business with you guys.
Terrible customer service and Fragile product
Recently my 1 year old watch happened to unpair with my phone. Despite of trying every advice on Apple website and internet but no success to repairing it. Unable to make a reservation online so I went to the store and got told to come back another day at 9:30 with lack of interest to know the issue. After I refused to comeback another day he then booked me in to see a bloody Genius Bar at 3 hours later. Wasting my time and money. I will never ever buy any Apple product again.

Horrible
Had to wait in line an hour before the store opened and then was told to come back tomorrow and repeat the process again as they were booked out for appt for later that day. So went back the next morning, waited another 45 mins, booked an appt to pick up my new Mac book for later that afternoon (after work). Arrived at the appt on time and was told that they had sold out of the product and that I to wait potentially a month for it to be restocked. Went straight to JB (should have done in the first place) and they sold me a laptop and at a better price than Apple and they included the USB converter for free.
