Apple makes bad products
My iPad when it was under 3 months old. Lost battery very quickly. Went in to try and get it fixed and they didn’t do anything. Now it can be on 100% charge and within only 20 minutes of using it be on 10%. The charging cable I have for it is only 4 months old so it’s obviously the iPad. They make them so the battery runs out very quickly so you need to go buy a new one. But I will never be buying anything from apple again. Samsung will be next once it completely dies. Terrible company and product. Make it so it works for 10-15 plus years or don’t bother making it at all!

They somehow remain immune to any due process or consequences of their thieving modus despite the countless current and ex Apple users who have reported breaches in their contracts and money fraudulently withdrawn from their bank accounts. Bad customer service
I purchased a hemmes Apple Watch. I had problems with the watch. Apple replaced it with a faulty watch. So two months later and I was told I could get a refund if steps are taken. We did it all. Then I was told the watch needs to be returned. If faulty then a full refund. I then received an email that they replaced tge watch. It arrived opened and not sealed. Contacted Apple and told them. They said because they replaced the watch that I can’t get a refund. That’s not what we agreed on. They told me that even though the watch was opened that it...’s not damaged so end of story. I have an email from Apple US saying they should refund and am taking them to court. You pay so much fir Apple products and especially hemmes. I have a lot of Apple stuff but I will not use Apple now as you can not trust them. I’ve never been lied to like Apple has. See you in court Apple.
Worse than Telstra
Visited Apple Store Carindale with damaged product (covered by AppleCare).
Advised that an appointment was needed (no specification as to the type of apptmt) and also advised an incorrect price for replacement of ipad.
Went home, made on line booking for a new ipad because thats what I wanted and there was no obvious option for replacement (its not a repair, but later i was to find out that this was the option I should have selected- silly me its replace, not repair but duh)

Apple store complaint
I visited the Apple highpoint store in VIC on the 28/Jan around 3.30 PM in regards to iPhone 12 Pro silicone case exchange warranty issue.
Was served by a lady cacusaian medium hair length blonde. Approached and advised the case was bought on the Jan 05 /2021 and started to show signs of failure within the case in particular splitting and volume up and down button area component protruding bit outside which is abnormal . I explained that this is unreasonable quality and a manufacturing defect , the lady replied, this i...s normal wear and tear, how can it be wear and tear and normal as it has only been used under 30 days and does the product in this instance (iPhone case) does not come with reasonable quality and should be lasting a reasonable period of time not 30 failure within 30 days? She had a quick chat with the manager -male , came back and told me nothing they can do . I said fine, can I at least talk with the manager to explain bit more in-depth explanation, she refused, gave the same answers back and in the end did not even ask the manager. She said she cannot help me and ask me to leave the store , this is a very rude and bad customer service , have I offended anyone here? , I have not sworn or say anything to anyone , all I request is reasonably to have a quick chat with the manager in charge. She said im wasting everyone’s time , with the amount of products I have purchased from Apple store before I am very appalled by the negative experience this sales staff has replied to me in. I don’t blame the manager as he is doing his only thing, but at the very least the lady serving me needs to learn some people skills and learn to have empathy towards customers. I said okay no worries, I will have a chat with ACCC and make a formal complaint, I kindly asked name of her and the manager’s name but did declined. Hence, I walked out of the store and the lady spoke to the security guard and said “ do not let this guy come again, they are all like this “ . At this point I am very upset and have left the store and I felt racially discriminated as why does she need to use the word “ They are all like this “, don’t let him in again” . As a customer, I have not even shouted or yelled at anyone, but spoken in a reasonable way, I am very upset by this and wants the store manager in charge or Apple to get in touch with me directly to solve this complication. I went home, talked to apple advisor, sent them a pic of the phone photo, they will mail the iPhone case out due to warranty defect, where is Apple’s customer value and pride is this how everyone should be treated especially by this lady , representing the “APPLE brand” ??
Super fast when buying, non-existent when you require support
i bought a macbook pro and within the first 6 months I had to replace the screen and the keyboard
when the screen failed for the second time I complained and they agreed to a replacement.
Before doing that they made me spend an hour online with a technician followed by an instore examination of the computer to confirm the fault.
Following that I spoke to 3 different "senior advisors" at Apple, each time having to explain what the situation was.
They promised a courier would come to collect my MacBook in a week's time (on a Friday).
Won’t be buying Apple anymore. Still dodgy company
Bought phone 2 years ago and it just went out of warranty (2 months ago whilst in lockdown) and what do you know, the black screen of death appears and it now cost $600 to fix the phone!?! You’re kidding right Apple? Still up to your old tricks. Don’t trust them anymore. Went to the store and they were hopeless in helping to make a booking for repairs. Getting a Samsung now. Apple does not care for its customers. Disgusting.

I've always stuck with apple because of the high quality and service. The ball has been dropped on both accounts with my recent apple purchase, an iMac.
1. it's so slow, I may as well have a slab of rock and a chisel

Apple them self are probably the worst and narcissistic company that is out there,Ive spent weeks trying to get data from a phone. As it was important and was told by Apple it isn't possible!, Turns out it is. I went to a 3rd party store and they had it repaired in 2 hrs they completely board swapped the chips and my data was saved.
I was not satisfied by the apple store customer service due to me going there to repair my phone and had booked a day to fix my phone I was not allowed to go in the store nor was allowed time to get my phone checked and they had gave me a limited time to get a new phone which I was not there for and was told that I had a remaining time of 15 minutes to pick a new phone and get out which caused an argument between me and the employee as for the employees there were disrespectful and rude. Would never go back there.

MacBook Pro 2016 4 TB Ports - Apple refuses warranty repairs - Authorized service provider useless
I own a 2016 MacBoook Pro 4TB ports. Over time it developed a few issues and i contacted Apple for a repair. I got an appointment booked which Apple cancelled because of Covid. No alternative appointment was offered, no mail-in no nothing.
I contacted the customer support again and was told that my options are to either wait until the stores reopen or to take it to an authorized service provider. Even if the computer was ridiculously expensive Apple refuses to take care of it. Sends you to a contractor and washes their hands off.
In my case, ...the display is covered by a service program because there have been hundreds of thousands of complaints and Apple at some point admitted that there was an issue with the flex cable and started a service program. My display has a very small damage to the bottom of it, not on the LCD area itself. A normal person would assume that this would be irrelevant since there is a service program and Apple very well knows that there are issues with it, but no. Not Apple. Despite being well aware of the issues and having basically a recall for it they want to charge me $828 for a display replacement of a display that they know has been manufactured faulty. Due to the small damage to the display the authorized service provider refused to do any other repairs. One of the reasons for that was that he simply didn't have the time to deal with Apple about it. I was literally explained that he won't repair my keyboard or faulty Touch Bar or even faulty TB3 ports because of the display. Fully independent issues but hey, Apple can afford to brush iff customers like that. Imagine you buy a computer at Harvey Norman and they refuse a warranty claim on the keyboard because of damage to the display. Only Apple can afford to crap on customers like that and i for sure will never again spend one cent on their heavily overpriced, low-quality products.
Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced
My 12 year old daughter needed a laptop for high school so I purchased a macbook air. After 5 months, it stopped working completely. Faulty product. It took over a week to get an appointment with Apple Penrith. I arrive and they state if I show them invoice they would replace the faulty product. I went back with my receipt, they went and got new laptop, asked my daughter to pick a colour, put it in bag for us then out of no where said we can't replace your laptop as the computer won't let us. This was beyond ridiculous and I left with my fault...y product. Spoke with about 6 different Snr advisors who were meant to look after my complaint. None of them ever returned my calls or emails and I would ring back and get another snr advisor. Anyway, after 3 weeks, they finally decide to send me a new laptop through TNT which is going through China and I've been told to expect lengthy delays due to TNT's backlog (that's a whole other story). I could not just go to an apple store or get a new one sent to me from online store and pick up replacement as I was desperate as daughter was missing out on school. My daughter has now been 5 weeks without a laptop due to the product being faulty, and I still don't have it. There is no complaints process and Apple do not care one bit about customer service. Just got to accept their disgusting service. There is nothing I can do but wait. Their Snr advisors are a joke, they ignore you so you ring back and get a new Snr advisor, WORST SERVICE EVER. Replacing the faulty product should not have been this difficult. If they had of made just a little effort and showed some sort of service, I'd have a replaced laptop now.
The Death of Apple
What made Apple stand out from the others was it’s great customer service and quality products. Apple is a far cry from when Steve Jobs ran the show. Today’s customer service is mean spirited, being more concerned with profit margins than providing an outstanding service it was once renowned for. Waiting weeks (or like my current order months) for your orders to arrive..then having to deal with TNT couriers. Then there is the exorbitant price hikes for new products that have barely evolved and using technology that has been utilised by other b...rands for months, there is nothing exciting or innovative coming out of Apple. As a loyal customer of 15 years and having spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company, I am unfortunately, neck deep in the Apple ecosystem. But, with each year my loyalty is dissolving, I am fed up with the disappointment I get when dealing with Apple. My next phone will not be a iPhone.... I am going into Apple rehab and weening myself off the Apple ecosystem.
Absolutely Terrible Customer Service
Apple has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
My 1.5 year old 2018 MacBook air randomly died on me without me dropping it or anything so I went to the genius bar to figure out what’s happening. 30 years of Apple and now I am thinking of other options
I bought a 7th generation iPad which I use just for my Sonos. I picked it up the other day, fingers underneath thumb on top and it cracked where my thumb was. I only bought this recently and use it rarely. I booked an appointment at Macmedic and they told me I should take in to the Apple store because they had to prepay to send it in, amount $518 which is about what I paid for the new unit at Officeworks.

NEVER BUY APPLE
Took a laptop for repairs and they said would fix flickering screen for no cost! Get a call a few days later telling they found the screen was not faulty so a board had to be changed at a cost of $600! The criminals just suck u in to leave the unit there and pluck some ridiculous figure from there backsided to make extra money! Pack of criminals! Apple has made me sick! I urge anyone not to buy their overpriced rubbish that last no more than 3 years!

I got my iPhone7 replaced on Feb, and then it stopped working from April again! I got a refurbished junk!! The receiver doesn’t work, and the customer support online suggests it might be a service provider or a software issue? I’m using the same service provider in another handset works perfectly fine! And voice WhatsApp both broken, how can be a software issue? And on top of that camera is not clicking! Whatever happened to apple integrity.

My iPhone XS MAX started playing up. For no obvious reason, the display would freeze and not respond to any touch input. I contacted the Apple support per chat and was offered to take the phone to the Apple store for a check-up. The screen was in good physical condition, the back, however, had a crack in it.
After waiting a bit i was greeted by an Apple employee. She ran the diagnostics and told me that there were no faults found. She offered me a solution to do a software update to the same software i have had on my phone or to get the phone ...repaired. For a ridiculous amount of $880 and i believe that was even before tax. Or i should upgrade my plan with Vodafone and get a new phone from them. Despite the fact that my phone was only about 6 months old. She tried everything besides offering a service through Apple. She insisted that i can't get the phone repaired under warranty because of the damage on the back of the phone. After a few minutes of discussion with her, i asked her nicely that she gives me in writing that Apple refuses to honor the warranty just because the back was cracked. She said no problem and went to the back of the store. A few minutes later she came back but without the paperwork, i asked for. Instead, she asked if she could take my phone with her for a few minutes which i agreed to. Again a few minutes later she came back and said that the display will get repaired under warranty and told me to be back in about 40 minutes. I returned to the store at the time she told me to and my phone was already waiting repaired for me. It is disgusting to see that Apple tries everything possible to send away customers with legit warranty claims. It is disgusting that Apple tries to send customers to their telecom providers just so they don't have to deal with it. I have heard of some may people lately making similar experiences and that Apple tries everything to avoid repairs that are obviously covered by warranty. At such a premium price we should be allowed to hope for half-decent service.
So 3750 dollars later apple tech today tells me device is not fit for purpose so why sell them if a product is a few months out of warranty how is it not fit for purpose and no i do not want to buy newest gadget just a reliable product obviously something apple can not give
Apple devices are not reliable any more and their warranty service is terrible!
They do bad warranty service. They tell it is done and fixed but do not even spend a minute to switch a device on and check if an issue is really fixed. Apple mac books cost as a plane but reliable as a china calculator. Do not buy it!
Half a year ago I bought a new 2019 macbook pro 13inc. During this period there were some issues like screen flickering a few times per day or hangings on. This is the first apple mac book in my life and I did not expect any magic from it to work without any problems and did not pay any real attention on it.

Will Apple users be so broke from their faulty Apple products that they will soon have online help groups where they swap parts and cry into each other’s coffee about being suckers?
Don't get sucked in by Apple's Interest-free option of "Latitude". It costs $4.95 a month in fees. I am so disgusted I'm going to the Ombudsman about it.
The loan is interest free, however the monthly fee of $4.95 is commonplace in the finance insider for all loans, both small and large (even zipper do this).
Perhaps read the terms and conditions below complaining.
