Beware of the free removal offer
Ordering was easy and product came the next day. One trick is the offer of free “removal and disposal” of your old appliance. I was expecting my undermount range hoods to be removed but that didn’t happen. Up to this point I didn’t have a problem with them but I now feel like they mislead on purpose. I believe they should reword their “free removal and disposal “ statement as it appears quite a few customers have fallen for the so-called free offer.
Paid for an oven, waited three weeks and was told product not available
I purchased an oven from Appliances Online in April 2021 and had to wait for four weeks before the oven is delivered.
The oven is fully paid for and three weeks into the wait I got a SMS message requesting me to call them back. After calling them back I was advised the oven I purchased is not available due no stock and either I pay the difference for a higher cost oven alternative or my order will be cancelled. There is nothing else they can do and they will not compensate the lost of time.
A few things to note for future Appliances Online ...customers: 1) You think you got a good deal, there are chances they will not fulfil your order towards the end of your wait time and ask you to buy a more expensive alternative or your order will be cancelled. They will not compensate the lost of time you incurred. 2) They won’t even call you to discuss the order issue. They will request you to call them back so there is no written record.
Terrible customer service
Managers hide behind their young staff to pass on messages on their behalf. Get a backbone managers. They must write their own reviews
Dangers of buying on line. Stick with a retailer
Bought a Samsung washing 29 Dec. 6 weeks ago I noticed the parquetry flooring adjoining the laundry was lifting. 2 flooring specialists and a builder (who supplied extensive report) and 2 insurance assessors all determined that the washing machine was leaking and the cause of the damage. Of course the Samsung technician, who inspected the machine couldnt find a fault (after he opened the back of the machine and did whatever??) and neither could the plumber who AOL sent out so therefore regardless of 5 other professionals suggesting it was a fau...lt with the machine AOL have denied all liability!!! I had a machine in the same spot for 7 years and never had a problem. The floor was dry when AOL installed the machine so it doesn’t take an Einstein to work out that the machine was most definitely the cause of the damage. It’s always a risk buying a big ticket item on line - something I won’t be doing again. Ill stick with E&S trading for my next buy. So much for customer service Mr John Winning. I suggest if you’re thinking of using AOL think twice. If anything goes wrong you’re on your own. They might be $50 cheaper but is it worth the risk. The $100 I saved is now going to be 10 times more in legal fees. Stick with a retailer.

Called the customer service (they are polite and professional), been told that warehouse will send the product the next day. I was asked to just passively wait for update of Auspost tracking number, then waited for another week, still no reply.

Office Customer Service
I purchased a Bosh washing machine in February 2021 very happy with machine and delivery guys. Very professional and helpful. Cannot say the same for office customer service representatives. I accepted a damage washing machine no fault of the delivery guys was damaged before packaging removed. 16/2 advised a refund would be coming asked for bank details. To date 13 emails and 10 phone calls now 29/4 still no refund. This is my 2nd purchase plus 2 others for work so cannot understand how such a good company can be so derelict and disinterested i...n fulfilling their written and verbal obligation of with a simple refund. Telling me that it takes a couple of days for the money to reach my account (I would have thought 70 odd days would be enough time). Warning don’t accept any delivery of goods expecting to get a refund or you risk being treated with no dignity or respect.
Appliances were not delivered as promised
Took a day off work had to ring several times to find where they were. Never turned up. Was in an empty house waiting no call from driver was given a 6:30 am to 11:00am delivery time.
Bought a Electrolux vacuum with a 12 month warranty from appliance online. Was faulty. Appliance online hand balled me to electrolux, as to where Electrolux expect me to drive 1hour away to a service centre for it to be looked at. Unfortunately I dont own a vehicle which is why i purchased online or the money for petrol to get there atm aswell.
2months later no1 has been in contact with me to resolve the issue. Appliance online telling me its nit their problem. Go away. We have emailed electrolux and theres nothing we can do.
Poorest warranty service ever experienced
Our integrated fridge purchased several years ago from Appliances Online was assessed as irreparable on 17 February 2021 and to be removed and credited per our extended warranty agreement. From there the customer service completely fell apart. Dozens of phone calls and emails have been required in an effort to hold this company accountable, across I don't know how many departments. There has been countless promises to resolve the matter and almost just as many failures to deliver. On two separate occasions we had contractors turn up to take awa...y the fridge, without being properly briefed on the job, only to refuse to remove it because they weren't able to do that work. The third contractor removed the fridge but didn't know whether he was authorised to take it away, so left it here. It took a fourth contractor to take it away on 18 April 2021. That's two months of persistence and four different contractors over four separate visits to remove a fridge! We were promised a refund of the purchase price and the extended warranty as soon as the fridge was picked up, but its now 22 April 2021 and there's no sign of it. We have an empty hole in the kitchen cupboard and empty promises. Another email to them and another referral to a different department today. I think we'll send them a claim for lost earnings from our business while we've been dealing with this nonsense. Will this ever end...
I contacted them on Monday in regards to a broken down machine that was purchased on 25/01/2021. The machine has been out of action for a week and they dont seem to care or press the issue with manufacturer. We have 3 disabled children in our house and now no washing machine. I would not recommend them
Beko Washing Drying Machine Refund BWD7541IG
I bought Beko Washing drying machine BWD7541IG. At the end of 4kg wash and dry program, clothes are damp. So i asked for refund, they offered me to provide 80% store credit and keep 20% as restocking fee. I asked 100 percent refund multiple times, they did not accept it. At the end, I went to fair trade. I can not recommend this company to my friend.
Appliances online referred me to Beko service. Beko service said that this is design of the machine, and if they come to inspection they may charge call out fee if that is the case....
Had a washing machine delivered, the gents delivering had to borrow a screw driver as they weren’t prepared at all.
They informed me they couldn’t take my old washing machine that day as there was no space on the truck but would be back the following day to collect it.
After several days contacted the number to be told my address didn’t exist and they had no record of a delivery:
Spoke with customer service who were apologetic and said someone would be there in two days.
They never showed.
Had to pay to have it removed myself.
On top of that the washing machine was unbalanced as they didn’t adjust the feet so it was level.
Would not recommend !!!!!

Having spent over $100k+ through my business, they failed delivery on multiple occasions - to the stage I need to voice the fact. I'm now blacklisted from calling, yet they get 5 stars online?... To be fair, the call centre just grabs sales for the lowest price. No Care. No Customer service. NO RESPONSIBILITY.
Cheapest price = cheapest service.
Should have gone to Harvey Norman or ANY other store.
Want reliability & responsibilty?? Do NOT buy here! Don't even ask about warranty claims...

Customer Support is a joke. While I have always loved their prices - I've purchased a chest freezer that has completely stopped working.
I've proceeded to call customer service and have been told to wait until the end of the week. This is extremely dissapointing for a business that operates a same-day service. It even states in their T&Cs that they will replace the unit.
Absolutely appalled - wouldn't get this with a bricks and mortar store.
The warranty from hell
Why we get Appliances Online has no physicals store one would never have imagined the pure hell involve din what should be a routine task of getting a defective Oven repaired under warranty..
After a month of excuses, inventing reasons to not progress the warranty, even trying to offload the warranty onto Bosh which is a violation of the Act..
We have ended up waiting for a court hearing date, to get a defective product repaired or replaced under the statutory warranty embedded within the Appliances Online sales contract...
A product is only as a good as its service and warranty..
Based upon my "warranty from hell" experience from Appliances Online, I will never purchase anything from Appliances Online in the future..
All good if your product is in good working order. But beware if things go wrong!!

Appliances online CANNOT be trusted - avoid them
This is the first time I have used Appliances Online and it will be the last. Ordered a BBQ in Oct - told it would be here in Dec for Christmas. Then told 1st week of March and now they say May 2021. 7 months to receive an order! No thanks,
Poor customer service
I bought a LG washing machine (wtg6520) on August 2020 from Appliance online. The LG washing machine stopped working properly since Nov 2020. As its under warranty , I've contacted Appliances online twice (once in Dec 2020 and another time on early Apr 2021) to report the problem and during both times they informed me that a LG will be contacting me soon , but LG never had contacted me back. I had contacted appliance online to follow up with them when LG will call me but all they said is to wait for a few more days for LG to contact me (which they never have yet). I ended up calling LG directly but still they have not fixed my washing machine. I will be making a complaint to NSW Fair Trading.
below average product. Terrible after sales service
I bought an Esatto fridge 3 months ago and it has frozen over inside. Do not buy this product. I have contacted Appliances Online about this and was told this is a manual defrost fridge. This means you have to defrost the fridge yourself or it will freeze over. I requested an exchange for a frost free fridge but because it is passed the 2 week time limit for returns my request was denied. I was told that I cannot exchange goods if I changed my mind after 2 weeks of purchase. This is a cautionary tale: check the fine print to ensure you are buyi...ng a frost free fridge. Otherwise too bad. Appliances Online have included this defect detail for the alternative colour fridge in the "key specifications" of their website catalogue but have listed this detail in the "other features" for this model. A detail I missed unfortunately, and would not have bothered with if I had known. Who would have thought to search for clarity that the fridge you are buying in 2020 is frost free or manual defrost? Appliances Online are holding firm on "buyer Beware". No fair spirit has been exercised at all by Appliances Online. I requested an exchange for a more expensive fridge that is frost free but no compromise here. Very mean spirited and clearly not interested in looking after their customer.
Terrible experience so far
I purchased an oven and rangehood online and when I ordered it the dates were blown out to the end of April for delivery, so I called the customer service number and was told that it was due to the rangehood not being in stock. They said it was arriving the next day or so and advised to call back to arrange a new delivery date once it becomes in stock. So I called the next day and spoke to a person who said that both were in stock and could be delivered next day. She told me I would get a text to advise of the two hour window. So I waited aroun...d in morning and heard nothing, so I called again to find out when it was arriving. (in meantime we have pulled out our current oven and rangehood). She then told me there was no record of my phone conversation and no booked time for delivery. I was quite annoyed by this but she gave me her direct line and name and booked the order in for the 6th April. So we wait around on the 6th April and the delivery guy arrived with just the oven but no rangehood. He didn't have the rangehood on his order sheet. So I called and spoke to customer service and they said that the rangehood was rescheduled to the 14th April (without my knowledge). I asked why and she just advised that they just rescheduled it. They had no intention on letting me know this. So now I have to wait around for another whole day for the rangehood to arrive. Terrible customer service, from my experience they do not advise customers when they change delivery dates, I have lost trust now.

I love the super fast delivery and competitive pricing. I am looking to purchase a lounge from the Ostro range, but i cant find a single review any where on the internet or on the AO website. The reviews need to be prominently displayed for each individual product. When buying online I rely heavily on reviews for determining quality and value.
I don’t understand as your post is clearly not a question. Are you complaining that it is the fault of reviewers not reviewing ? ‘Please explain’.
Are all the products you sell on your online platform, 1st grade quality, sealed in their original boxes ?
As far as I am aware the products are all new and boxed correctly. Ours was anyway. Hope this helps.
I have purchased 2 products from them and they are all new plus still in original boxes when delivered
We bought a pair of washing machine and dryer. Both were in their original boxes. There were three guys that delivered, unboxed, removed the old washer and put the new one in place. They did adjust the feet of the washer but didn't level the washer very well. So I took out a spirit level and adjustable wrench to finish the job. The boxes came with all the accessories/parts and documents described in the manual. In my case, I also ordered a stacking kit which wasn't available until a couple of weeks later so they gave me the option to split the order and received the washer and dryer first.
