they stuffed up my delivery. I originally ordered delivery on a Wednesday but rang on the Saturday to change it to Tuesday. guess what....I sat around all Tuesday morning waiting for the phone call to no avail. contacted them and was told the delivery date wasn't changed so now I have to sit around all Wednesday waiting again. Look elsewhere next time.
Product is fine but delivery was quite bad
Recently bought a washing machine from appliances online, price was quite good, product itself is running without an issue so far (used it around 10 times only), happy with the product however the delivery was terrible, the delivery man treated our brand new house like some warehouse, rough and hasty, maybe they should get two delivery man if one cannot carry the product as he had to wheel the washing machine over your door frame and the whole hall way before he reach the laundry to install it...and he does not take his shoes off..imagine it wa...s carpet.and he has no cloth to lay to walk/wheel on..if you didn't have any for him...that's too bad....it can potentially cause damages to your house....I have had stove installed by other companies and they were professional and did not make a mess at all .. The product and price The delivery was a horrible experience, show no respect to your house.
Service great, just watch the hidden "superseded" factor
I enjoyed absolutely great service, both online (I used the chat service to ask a few questions) and from the delivery guy who was prompt, friendly and professional. My Bosch Advantixx front loader machine was in perfect order and works fine, despite a ridiculously useless instruction manual from Bosch. I would rate them 5 except in using this forum to ask some basic questions about operation of the appliance I have now discovered (from a Bosch rep who answered my queries within about 2 hours- impressive!) that my machine is in fact superseded,...(and doesn't have one of the features I thought it did), which explains the $291 price reduction from AO I guess. I should have known there'd be a catch but was really hoping there wasn't. Their service was 100% efficient. No issues at all. They really should mention in the appliance's blurb is that particular model is superseded. Never forget you get what you pay for so make sure you check what models are current before you purchase.

Good Though Not The Best Place
Appliances online is not the best place to buy from. After buying from them once before. they seem to not keep up to date with the products they sell and then blame the manufacture when appliances online could simply check their stock from time to time. example of this was a major purchase made being a Samsung Fridge, I found the picture to be misleading and when i had got the fridge, it was the same model, though completely different style.
With the recent purchase it took appliances online 3 to 4 times to get details right, They sent priv...ate information about the purchase to the wrong email. after expressing concern, they checked to see if the email was valid, and thankfully it was not, then there was a problem with my address, and finally after trying to find a microwave with controls on the left side, i found they did not have any, buying from online can be a slap in the face and thats how i feel this experience has been. I bought the current microwave simply because looking for one that i need is like a slap in the face, so why not get slapped in the face with the microwave.... I really could not say whether or not I would recommend Appliances Online, I would let my friends know, but to be cautious and to make up their own minds... Delivery needs tweaking
No problems with the price or the time taken to delivery but had a bad experience with organising delivery.
One of the big advantages using this company is they call you in the morning to organise a two hour window for delivery. If you have other things to do this is a big bonus.
On the morning of my delivery they called but I was on the phone. When I got off I noticed missed calls but they were all private numbers so I couldn't call back. No SMS was received or message left and no call was made to my back up number. I then went out expect...ing a call from Appliances Online later. They turned up unnanounced when I wasn't there and and I had to take another day off to get delivery. On this day they called and organised a time of 1200-1430. I went out and came home (luckily) at 1140 to find the truck out the front. Maybe they would have waited...maybe, who knows. I suspect I would have been listed as "called , not home". As an aside they record your drivers licence number for ID. I dont mind them sighting it like the Post Office does but I am uncomfortable about them recording it. In these days of identity theft the less detail recorded by third parties the better. Good product at a good price Delivery process
Poor Delivery Time
Yes the stuff is cheap, yes they have free delivery, but when you give someone a time frame, especially when it's in the middle of the day and its ruined any chance of being able to go out, come on time! And secondly, if you are running late please call me.

Our dryer was delivered the day it was supposed to, the delivery men were nice and helpful. Unfortunately it was damaged on arrival. They took it back to the warehouse and the next day the warehouse called. I explained that i had waited all day on the Thursday for the dryer to come and unfortunately it was damaged, and that for the next two or three weeks the latest anyone would be home on a Tuesday or Thursday was 11:30am. They called the warehouse and said they would be able to drop the dryer off even if we weren't home and leave it outside, ...but they asked how we would pay them, as it was cash on delivery. In the end I decided to cancel the order as i had wasted a whole day that i had off from work waiting for it to arrive, and then they were not able to by any means accommodate my needs of having the dryer delivered before 11:30am another Tuesday or Thursday. I am not waiting three weeks to get a dryer when i can go down to the local store and get one today Cheap, friendly delivery men. Did not like their customer service on the phone as they weren't friendly or helpful.

Took a long time to get AOL to agree to match a price I received from Bing Lee. Eventually it turned out for me to be slightly cheaper to go with AOL, so I did. We ordered a French Door fridge, but the delivery guy couldn't be bothered to take the fridge door off to get it into the kitchen. This is standard practice. The fridge was left in our garage - no installation, no checking and no levelling etc. They took our old fridge away, but we now have a fridge in the garage!! Bottom line - I'm sure you'd get a better service from a major bric...ks and mortar retailer - like Bing Lee or Cilve Peters etc. Would I recommend them - NO. Will not use again. I love the super fast delivery and competitive pricing. I am looking to purchase a lounge from the Ostro range, but i cant find a single review any where on the internet or on the AO website. The reviews need to be prominently displayed for each individual product. When buying online I rely heavily on reviews for determining quality and value.
I don’t understand as your post is clearly not a question. Are you complaining that it is the fault of reviewers not reviewing ? ‘Please explain’.
Are all the products you sell on your online platform, 1st grade quality, sealed in their original boxes ?
As far as I am aware the products are all new and boxed correctly. Ours was anyway. Hope this helps.
I have purchased 2 products from them and they are all new plus still in original boxes when delivered
We bought a pair of washing machine and dryer. Both were in their original boxes. There were three guys that delivered, unboxed, removed the old washer and put the new one in place. They did adjust the feet of the washer but didn't level the washer very well. So I took out a spirit level and adjustable wrench to finish the job. The boxes came with all the accessories/parts and documents described in the manual. In my case, I also ordered a stacking kit which wasn't available until a couple of weeks later so they gave me the option to split the order and received the washer and dryer first.
