5yo Solar hot water was not heating the tech crew and Ros helped fault find and arranged prompt spares to rectify the problem. Excellent service recommend this company to everyone.

I just popped around to your premises in Parramatta Road, Silverwater only to be told you have moved, so I shot over to Prospect Highway, Seven Hills but the business is closed and no-one has seen you guys around - I have phoned the 1300 number this morning but it rings and rings and then times out - no voice mail or anything - where are you guys?, I called the plumber who put me onto your business and he said getting through is difficult and to keep trying, please help me as I want to arrange to collect some parts to repair my 22 tube Apricu...s unit which has failed again - usually I just pick up the parts from you direct but suddenly you are hard to get hold of - why?? I thought this method of contact will reach you as you seem to respond to the reviews of others - :)

Excellent after sales service
I had the system installed 11 years ago and the collector manifold has developed a leak. Ros from Apricus could not be more helpful. The manifold was replaced under warranty

a lot of noise coming from cylinder. clanging and bubbling sound.
Had great advice over the phone from Ros. and Ben from Launceston plumbing and gas was great he found that the pump was cactus replaced that and all was well. wondering if surge protector might be a help in electrical storms.

Dodgy controller warranty
I have had this system installed for almost 5 years, we had a storm recently that Apricus advised blew the controller fuse - so much for a 15 year warranty, the fuse is guaranteed for 12 months only. But guess what you cannot replace the fuse as you have to buy a brand new controller - damn that was a bill not expected for Christmas. For anyone in this situation I found a good supplier on ebay with a full replacement item for $185.00. Yarra Supply - the seller is a great company and saved a lot of hard ache, they are really prompt too. Not happ...y Jan about no 15 year warranty though from Apricus. Excellent after sales service
I recently had a problem with water pressure coming out of the cylinder. I had a plumber look at the problem who is familiar with working with Apricus systems . He told me that” they are a very good system that normally give very little trouble” He also said that fortunately for me Apricus are “ a very good company to deal with for after- sales issues “

Corroded collector manifold replaced under warranty
The original installer couldn't have insulated the collector manifold properly as it corroded. I sent pictures of it for proof of ownership details when I had a burst pipe and thought it was the tank leaking! The tank was good. I also saw that under the terms of the warranty I needed to change the sacrificial anode again even though it was OK and only 3 years old. Anyway, Apricus volunteered to renew the collector manifold under the warranty, so I didn't have to pay anything this time. They sent the manifold to my place and all I had to do...was give them the contact details of my Apricus plumber (who had replaced the anode and previously renewed a heating element and who also had an electrical certificate) and he came along and replaced the old manifold with the new one. Hopefully this time it has been correctly insulated. I'll have to keep an eye on it so that I can tell my plumber if there's an issue before it matters too much. Good to have someone accountable.
Great support from Apricus
I had my tank for 9 years, when I found that it was leaking and rusted I called Ros, Head Office. NSW
Ros quickly organised a replacement tank and arranged for transport. Helped me find a plumber, (Passive Plumbing) really professional bloke.

WOW! What is the fuss ? Nothing but smiles here
So I had my system installed in 2015 and it never has worked right. The pump always running and I don’t even know if the solar part works. After reading reviews I was sceptical even trying to call however I did and I’m so glad that I did. I had the pleasure of speaking to Ros who was very knowledgeable and spoke me through the hot water unit and what could be causing me grief. Ros transferred me to a technical manager I think called Michael who was really patient with me and after trouble shooting the whole system with me he re-programmed the c...ontroller on the spot with me there and then. We also adjusted some settings on the pump. It finally works!! After 5 years finally ! My experience was next level service and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Well done Ros & Apricus.

Excellent Customer Service
Our Apricus Solar Tank had started leaking and a replacement tank was efficiently sent to us in country NSW to be replaced.
The customer service from Ros was outstanding,she is an asset to the company and went above and beyond to ensure that our problem was solved.
The system works well but unfortunately I have had 3 faults with my Apricus Solar Hot Water system in 6 years. Given the expense of the system it has been frustrating. For the first 2 faults it took lengthy periods of time on each occasion to resolve. Customer support was almost non existent. Each issue I've had has been different. The Ist issue related to faulty Heat Pipes. The next issue related to the pump not turning off. For the 2nd issue the advice I received was incorrect and I managed to resolve the matter myself with extensive tests an...d restarts. Recently (Nov 2020) I experienced another issue where the system did not get to the temperature cut off differential therefore the pump was continually running. HOWEVER .. I am happy to say that Apricus have learnt from the past. The customer support for the latest issue was excellent. They listened, they wanted to help, they responded rapidly and they resolved the matter within 2.5 weeks. The system is now working perfectly.

15 year old solar Apricus system rejuvenated
Thanks to both Amy and the logistics team at Apricus, both did an excellent job in providing advice and materials to rejuvenate my old 20 tube system.
The old system had failed as the Cockatoos had pulled the sensor out of the roof manifold and the water had boiled causing the manifold to be calcified. This had gone un-noticed for along period as the controller/read-out is externally mounted round the side of the house.

My Apricus 11+ Y/O Unit back into action
My 11+ year old Apricus pump and controller for my Apricus solar-tube system was finally on the blink and Amy Sears gave excellent advice on what needed fixing, enabled me to easily order and pay for the necessary spare parts and followed up with excellent advice on a repair person, giving welcomed follow-up to ensure the tradesman arrived, ensuring too that he also had the parts that had been ordered and paid for. The work was quickly and skilfully completed by the recommended plumber, Darren Bride, who certainly knows his way around the Apricus units. I am happy to recommend both Amy and Darren for their help and service with the repairs necessary for my unit.

Great service on warranty/service claim
Our Apricus solar hot water heating system was installed in 2015 and recently we discovered that all 30 heating pipes had split or failed. Just as well we had a gas booster to give us hot water. Believing the original installer, and reading the product reviews, we hesitated to even make a warranty claim. But we did. The service we received from the Aprcus staff was nothing like we had read. It was swift and efficient, and right on the two business days Apricus claims to attend to customer concerns. In fact, that afternoon, Apricus had dis...patched the needed parts from Melbourne and instructed a local plumber to carry out the work. Living in Albury/Wodonga and with the Covid-19 situation we thought our problem would take some time to be attended to. The replacement parts arrived on our doorstep within four days and the work required was carried out by a local plumber within a couple of more days. Only that it rained the plumber was coming around the following day to install the parts. Very pleased customer.

Our unit is 6 years old. Rang Apricus because we had no hot water. They had it fixed on the same day. Great response and service. Even talked me through how to read controller and check pump.

Review Update: Since writing this review, I have been without a working hot water system for 5 weeks. I finally got confirmation 2 weeks ago that Apricus supposedly was replacing the tank under warranty. The tank has NOT arrived and I am still having to go to friends to shower and boil a kettle to wash dishes. I can't begin to voice my frustration without resorting to expletives. I can only hope anyone who works for this company will experience the same aggravation should they have been foolish enough to install one of these systems at t...heir home. System was installed 7 years ago and every year since I have had to contact the installers to check the system as it has had pump failure 2x, valve failures 4x, tank corroded by age 2. Each time, it was implied it was either my fault because I had done something wrong, the water company had done something wrong or the Installation location Was incorrect. They were the ones who chose location and I find it peculiar it’s always someone else’s fault, never theirs or their inferior quality of parts supplied. System was great idea but a waste of $5,400 which would have paid for 13 yrs of gas usage instead of 7 yrs of aggravation.

Don't Buy Apricus
Installed in 2015, worked for maybe 6 months and was great until it wasn't. Have been chasing Apricus since then to provide help. Don't answer phone calls or return calls. Had some limited email responses in 2018/2019 and thought perhaps Apricus would do the right thing, but then nothing. Customer service is non existent. How do you stay in business? You have the potential for a great product but you need to back it up. I just want it to work. Please don't give me a generic response or excuses.

After having this totally inferior system for about 10 years i feel like a sucker...what it has cost me besides buying is more than i care to print.. warranty is totally useless as the makers wish to have nothing to do with you and even threatenig leagal action to stop the truth being published.the controllers have a limited warranty and break down frequently ....do not even entertain the thought about getting one..you will regret it..shame

Had this installed in our new house. Worked fine for about 12 months with no booster required, then the control panel completely died and we have to use the booster every day. Rang Apricus and they said it's out of warranty, too bad. Do not buy this piece of junk from them. Would give zero stars if I could.

Who manufactures the water heaters - 315ltr
Thank you for your question. It depends which tank you are referring to. Our Glass-lined tanks are made by DUX whilst our stainless steal tanks are manufactured by Wise Living or Wilson.

If the product fails the product fails . It has nothing to do with a maintenance check . But yet don’t cover it by warranty.
