Currently my Kreepy hose sits slightly below the water surface. Is this going to cause it sucking air?

You are probably missing the weight of the pool cleaner. Check the bottom of the pool. It can be reattached with silicon and cable ties.

Have yougot the line weight on your hose and the top of the Twister has an opening on it if that is above the water it can admit air .I have a little fishing weight attached with a cable tie to the has next to the twister to stop that. Hope this helps

I was looking at the new gadget and one end came off and I cannot figure out how to put it back so that it stays?

If it just fell apart, it would mean that the housing is fatigued and needs replacing. From memory, the housings clip together

Small cog broken where can l get new parts?

If you contact Aqua Quip you can get spares or a replacement set of gears without having to buy a complete unit. I am still using the original unit with no problems. I did buy a replacement set of the mechanism but as yet not needed it. The cylinder type leaf line filter is the way to go.

Are the gears replaceable in the Twister.if so where can I get them? I am fitting thinking of fitting a hose line Leaf canister with a bag in it to trap any sand, taking the precaution. Is this a good move????

Yes, the leaf cannister needs to be on the hoes between the Twister and the vacuum head. If any sand is picked up it will sit in the bottom of the cannister. To get to the Twister it would need to double back to the outlet tube inside the cannister, it will drop through the basket mesh.
