Spotless washing every time!
I totally agree with Dr Pepper's comments.
I've purchased this machine from Harvey Norman 3 weeks ago and have been using it daily ever since without a single issue. Ensure you use either option 1 (most efficient) or option 2 (heavily laden) for a clean wash. You can always use the extra dry option if you require but remember it adds extra 10 minutes to the cycle.
Whole family loves it because it's very quiet and easy to use and stake.
Nothing Beats this Ariston Dishwasher, Not even Miele!
Purchased this Dishwasher as I have always relied on Ariston Appliances, my washing machine is Ariston and being brand new these are very stylish.I picked the White, Stainless steel is also available. I definitely made the right choice, The racks and baskets are huge which fit everything. Lots of Options and Cycles, Dishes always come out sparkling clean, It has got to be one of the quietest machines I have heard and also if you use the normal 50 degree cycle it uses halg the water and energy than say the 55 degree cycle, The machine has Delica...te cycle for glasses, extra drying options, time delay start and a time saver option.Quick wash available too for a few items. The upper basket is height adjustable for when you have huge plates that would block the blade otherwise. And the Knife Rack on the highest model is fantastic for all the little lids and misc tiny items and utensils which would normally find themselves being shoved between glasses etc. And it has a fold down flap above the top rack which will hold your wine glasses in place. For a family of 4 it can take me about 3 days to completely fill this thing. Never have i had to rewash anything with this machine. I have to say it impresses me every time, even when the plate slots are Extremely close together, it's a challenge the Ariston exceeds every time. With the people giving it really bad reviews on the machine, I think they are just trying to find something to complain about, either that they are using a quick wash cycle and expecting to get a spotless result hmmm. Anyway, I have done a fun review video on Youtube, Just Search Model No. and you will find it. Thanks:)
DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE
I bought this model after the Harvey Norman salesperson told me that the machine that the machine that they had on sale had a plastic bottom and wouldn't dry the glasses. Because glasses or dishes left in a machine wet, foggy, or humid after the dry cycle are a health nightmare--a sort of petri dish for organic life, I opted for this machine which allegedly dried the dishes.
Well, I should have not listened and paid the extra $300.
No matter whether the highest heat cycle or extra drying cycle (or both) are chosen, the machine produces, after...
Why did we wait so long.
First dishwasher, and it is fantastic..11 out of 10 easily. Was intrigued about the height of the top shelf at first, too low, but once we found the top basket adjustment it was fine. Very quiet, don't know it is running, and so far has done a fantastic job of washing and drying, first load we thought might have been a challenge for it, but no.
So far so good, seems an excellent machine.
I bought this dishwasher as our old dishwasher karked it and the Ariston dishwasher has so many more functions and I use them all its like having a maid in my kitchen. And my kids even help with stacking and put away dishes,it's great because now the kids want to help with chores...Love my dishwasher and I would recommend this item to everyone
Not very happy
I have had this dishwasher for 2 months and in that time I have found it not very good at all. I have to space all dishes 2 apart or they won't get clean. I can't put anything other than plates that have basically been washed and Tupperware lids on the lower rack. Pots and other Tupperware you can forget, they won't get clean.
Overrrate expensive rubbish
I've been the proud user of this for about 1 week and as yet have not had a competely dry load - plates and cutlery are still damp, even after a Normal wash, plus extra drying time, and using Finish dishwashing tablets with rinse aid, salts etc, you name it. None of our dishes fit properly, they are on the smaller side and unless you space everything two apart, none of the bowls sit properly. I'm so fed up with this overrated item, I'm seriously thinking of buying a basic Dishlex (our previous dishwasher, which wasn't fancy by any means but it ...did the job). oh yes, and the cutlery tray is a joke too, it only fits items of a certain size and has a million slots for items so tiny I have no idea what might fit in them. Chopsticks perhaps? Also collapsible racks are only handy if they collapse when you want them to, not when they just feel like it. Awful, awful waste of money!!!
The Dishes aren't dry and normal size Dinner Plates don't fit. Hate it. Don't buy one unless you eat off small Dinner plates or want to go out and spend more money on a new Dinner Set
I bought this model with white casing 4 months ago from Harvey Norman. This is the first dishwasher I have ever owned or operated and I am so pleased with it. Really roomy with the height adjustable top rack and the utensil shelf is really handy. And sooooo quiet which is wonderful with an open plan kitchen/dining/tv area - apart from a slight gurgle as the water drains, we wouldn't know it was operating. It cleans very well and all items (even plastics) are dry at completion of the cycle. The stainless steel interior always looks spic and span and was a surprise for the price. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Definitely a time save
We have been hand washing dishes for a long time now and decided with a baby on the way and the amount of water wasted that we would invest in a good dishwasher.
Our home did have an existing St George dishwasher which I had never heard of before. It was very poor water and energy ratings so we decided to dump it and get an Ariston from Harvey Norman after reading the reviews. Harvey Norman sales guy was pushing the AEG but we stuck to our guns and went with the Ariston. JB Hifi was pushing the Asko when we were looking around.
Initially ...we were going for the middle of the range model but after looking at the top model with a 4 year extended warranty (6 years total), there was very little difference in the price. Purchased and picked it up that day from the Oxley (Brisbane) warehouse. It was easy enough to install myself and have been using it without issue for the last month. 95% of the time we use the normal wash. Takes around 3 hours with tablets. We stack dished throughout the day and turn on just before we go to bed.
This machine is so quite, i had to put my ear to the door to check if it's working or not. Great selection of programs. The dishes come out dry. I am very pleased with the product and glad that the salesman at Harvey Norman convinced me to choose it over Bosch.
Worth the wait!
Had to wait a few weeks for my local Harvey Norman to get one it.. but it was worth the wait. Quiet, easy to use and has many extras - racks that fold down for larger items and cutlery holder slides along rack (not fixed). Especially love the extra shelf on top for cooking utensils. Spent a little more than I wanted but more than pleased with the product.
So quiet ...
We love the new dishwasher, it is very easy to use and cleans the dishes extremely well. That said, we would expect this from any new dishwasher – for us, the thing we love the most about our new Ariston Dishwasher is how quiet it is – you literally can't hear it running. The other thing we like is the way that it dries tupparware, we don’t get the issue of having to manually dry tupparware after the cycle has finished, like we did with our Fisher and Pykel Dishwasher.
Something that you may want to consider for future models … we have a t...wo kids ( 3 ½ & 2 ½ ), they love nothing more than playing with the buttons ( especially when it is part way through a cycle ). Would be great if there was a way you cold lock the buttons during a cycle so that the buttons did not work without entering a code ( like locking your mobile ). Not a big issue, but is very usuful for families that have young kids that love to touch things. Great work with this product … could not be happier.

It is difficult to determine the issue without seeing the machine. It would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they can recommend a fix, or if they think a technician should come around to have a look.
