Poor service from Arlec

Bunnings have autonomy of Arlec ceiling fans which we have 3 in our home. One of our controllers was damaged and we contacted Arlec to order a new controller but had to order through bunnings. After weeks we received a call to pick up the new controller. Arlec had changed our order sending the incorrect one and have stated another 5 weeks to receive the correct one. Poor service by Arlec and Bunnings. So far 5 weeks with no ceiling fan in summer …. Great work Arlec and Bunnings

One of the best things we've bought

Bought a Arlec Smart Boston DCF5242HA fan/light from Bunnings. From bed we can now control how bright the light is, and in summer, having a very quiet fan is a godsend.
Definitely one of the best household items we have bought. Show details

Great ceiling fan reasonable price

Bought this Arlec 52" ceiling fan from Bunnings in January 2021 for $179.
Fan is DC power
(very economical)
Very quiet with excellent airflow.
Dimmable led light with ambient options
Remote with options for timing.

Very happy with it.

FANTASTIC

A great addition if you only have a single light fitting in the room to deal with. You can connect it to your existing wiring an presto, you have a combination bright light and a quiet DC motor ceiling fan. It alleviates the necessity of having expensive & often noisy air conditioning. Variable fan speed and a 1,2,4 & 8 hr timer with your remote controller is an absolute treat too. To honour the warranty you have to be, or use a licensed electrician. Also, you may need a timber batten fitted if none near the connection and anchor point. Show details

Great fan

Fan is very quite had 2 since March 2017 with no problems at all, will never buy a noisy ac fan again. The beep every time you operate the mote lets you know that the fan has received signal. Show details

How do I unpair the remote as I have multiple fans that are all synced in together and I want to operate them independently. Have taken batteries out and deenergised fans for a hour and won’t unpair

My Arlec DCF5240 series (Boston II) light will not turn on. It worked when initially installed but subsequently failed. I changed out the LED light unit and still nothing. I re-paired the remote with the fan and the fan works OK but the light does not respond to the remote.
