As an electrician of 50 years worst product ever
I purchased an arlec mef20 from Bunnings to replace an existing fan. On start up it made a noise like the blade was hitting the power cord. Took it back and swapped it same thing but worse. Swapped again for IXL fan which was perfect and operated as it should. I used to respect arlec as a brand but not any more. I phoned to advise them however they weren’t interested. Low quality junk not fit for purpose.
