Find something else...
The S5 cleaner was included as part of our new pool "package" 3 years ago. Every year it has needed servicing/repairs, and always when we needed it to work (summer!). Very disappointing. Find another product. It spent a lot of time at one end of the pool. It needs a better warranty than what was offered. In fact, it needs to be built better in the first place.

Works flawlessly especially if you have lots of leaves
It has been running for over a year now with no issues at all. We have a big tree close by which drops lots of leaves and the S5 does a great job with picking all of them. It climbs the walls and goes around the pool with no issues, very happy with it.
Think again its not that wonderful
Nothing but problems with ours - when it works its just ok - but it gets stuck on step corners , wont climb and gets stuck in corners - tried everything inc moving the float up and down 1cm at a time - extending as well as reducing hose increasing suction and reducing - brand new pool and this was its biggest letdown - cant see it listed anymore on the astral website so it has probably does a natural death already

I have had 2 Zodiac G2 suction cleaners over the past five and a half years my pool is in ground 7 X 3 m,usual replacement of parts required and noisey, often needing to adjust and move when stuck near steps etc.The S5 is a breath of fresh air in comparison , amazing ability to clean the pool both larger debris and dirt, you don't even know it's on it is so quiet. Can only highly recommend.
