Almost a Success but Disappointing – This is a Portable USB Monitor- 16 inch (15.6 inch viewable), IPS, Full HD, USB Type-C, Micro-HDMI which I bought as a mobile 2nd screen for my laptop. At 1920x1080 resolution it is a good portable monitor which is the same size as my laptop. This allows me to pack both together when traveling providing extra protection. The colours are good for office work and the picture definition spot on. ASUS advertise that this unit come with an 7800mah internal batter, which it doesn't, so it has to be powered externally. The other main issue is the stand/travel cover which is a soft fold over cloth providing minimal protection and the stand fails dismally taking several minutes to get it to hold up before putting the screen on it hoping it won't collapse again. To power the unit and get video, the USB-C port has to be used or the USB-C and the mini HDMI together making it a bit more frustrating to operate. However once the video/power/stand is sorted, the unit is quite good. It does have a screw mount in the rear centre of the screen for a tripod mount. Overall it is a good unit, but the stand is very frustrating and needs to be replaced. I've had mine a day and already the "stiff" cloth is softening up so I can see it not being usable in the very near future. If you get this unit, buy the tripod yo go with it and get spare cables.
