Auction Club
Rip off
The roadworthy didn’t reveal that the engine and battery light were on. We were promised on delivery that these glaring items would be fixed. After taking it to several dealers because “cost effective”management was needed”, nothing was resolved. Even drive it 80km north on the M1 to a mechanic who was very rude after two hours waiting saying “ it hasn’t even been booked in, I will do it when I feel like it.”. Mine and my x husbands phone numbers were then blocked and we were told WE were rude to our daughter. The roadworthy was crap and so was the support for fixing a dodgy car sold by them. 0 stars as it cost me a lot of money for a useless car that used an exorbidant amount of petrol.

36K paid over 8 months ago… still no car
Paid over 36k in Feb… it’s now September and I still have no car.
Impossible to have good consistant contact. Always a new excuse. Car failed roadworthy with 2 pages of issues. Now I’m stuck with no car. No money. No resolution in the foreseeable future. I’m at a loss on what to do.
Every worker I am assigned seems to resign and I’m about to get passed onto my 4th agent.

Absolutely Pathetic!!!
RANT ALERT
I don't normally post this kind of thing but I am BEYOND done. I hope no one else has to go through this.
Watch out for an episode on ACA about these guys because that's where I'm going next! Auction Club is the most uncontactable and unreliable company I have ever come across. Every single person who works there is dodgy and just out for your money. They are absolutely pathetic and provide zero resolutions. I've had issue after issue.
They sold me a BMW that needed an O2 sensor replaced (which they said they would do as it was a...

Disappointing to find the car was NOT 35% less but around double retail trade price & $10,000 more than retail!!!
The company was recommended to me, I was busy and felt that they would be fair. I was really disappointed to find that rather than this service being an opportunity for the public to pay a brokerage fee and acquire a vehicle at the same price as dealerships, the Subaru forester secured was purchased according to revscheck.com was double dealership trade price!!!

Don't trust this scam company
This company stole over $100,000 off clients and denied any responsibility. They are over a dozen investigations currently being done by Office of Fair Trading. Some people have been lucky to get their money back with Auctionclub being solely responsible for the funds but some haven't. They passed on a stolen car from an auction that they got caught forging the payment receipt but didn't let the person know. After one customer complained that the final price way too high, they dropped it by $1000. Which couldn't happen if they were only chargin...
Read moreg their $660. So very likely they are adding (extra) money onto final accounts. They final bill comes out much higher than you expect. A lot of random fees and charges. There is a Facebook page to help the ripped off customers called Scammed By Auctionclub.- Incentivised Review No
Very Unprofessional, cant deal with customer complaints.
Used Auction Club to find me a car. The car which arrived failed RWC by over 40 counts. Fair trading now involved.

Auction Club stole from us
This company ripped us off in a huge way. We paid a lot of money and had no car nor a refund. They claimed one of their employees stole the money and then claimed no responsibility for it. We were able to locate other people who had also been ripped off but I see from reviews on this and other websites that there were many, many others who were scammed and in more ways than one. They have had their friends write positive reviews - so don't fall for that. I'd steer totally clear of Auction Club (and Property Club).

Read morepany. [Name Removed], you have been found to be very much part of the deceit. Though as you're not a director in the company, you're not personally liable to repay like your colleagues are. What happened to you that you'd want to earn a living ripping people off. You're disgusting.Hi Jay, I would like some proof in this matter as I don't know who you are and I have never spoken with you. if you would like to give me a call on the number above that would be great.
Stay away
Zero stars if possible.
I am reluctant to post a review, however, I am forced to resort to this due to the lack of a reply from the company following several emails.
I purchased a car with these guys, there were issues in evidence from Day 1, I took it to my mechanic, who repaired the first of many issues, and advised that he did not believe that the car should have passed RWC.
I checked my paperwork supplied by the company, no RWC. I then received a RWC AFTER I had taken the car away, RWC done without the car being present. Dodgy to say the very least.
Do not use these guys, they are not interested in providing a service for the fee you pay, not honouring the warranty.

Received a call from [Name Removed] in regards to buying a car from auction. Long story short when the car was sold at auction I transferred $20,0000 and never received the vehicle nor have I got my money back. I have gone to the police and they are investigating the company it looks like I won't get my money back. Stay away from buying anything from [Name Removed], [Name Removed].

Questions & Answers
Just wondering how many more people got ripped off by this company. I understand some got their money back through fair trading.
What sort of messed up lives they must have had to be so inhumane. Some of the people they've ripped off have really been good, hard-working and low-income people that didn't need that sort of financial agony.
Iam on a carers pension and my wife is terminally ill We bought a car through auction club for $7500 . It was supposecd to be schmick. the car that turned up was a real eyesore and failed the independ...

Who is The Director of Auction Club ?
From what Ive been told, Tom Mutch claims to be in charge of Auction club.
Ok Thankyou, i thought it was someone else from what i was told by Tom Mutch but obviously he was not willing to tell me that
I don't know how it's structured now but Chris Sampy/Levi Jackson, Shannon Sampy and Kevin Young were when I dealt with them. Tom Mutch set himself up as contractor to the company so whilst also found...

Hi Helen this is really discerning to read your car is a Subaru Forrester 2.5iL S5 2019 which upon searching the retail market for that car in QLD with the extremely low klms of under 30,000 is $38,00...
Read more0-$39,000 (car sales) and you only paid $34,500 for your car which is a clear saving of $3,500-4,500 so I'm struggling to figure out how you paid more then $10,000 retail, not only this but we told you not to worry about the money you owed us with the detail so you could use that money to help pay for your daughters insurance on the car, also we saved you over $500 on the ceramic coating. The unfortunate thing with revs checks or Redbook is these systems aren't the live market price for cars this is why people like your self employ us to do the hard work for you, negotiating price, finding stock and all the paperwork which allows you to focus on your business and what ever else life throws at you. I challenge you to go onto car sales and find an actual ad were your car is listed for less then what I have said.
