Does a great job but has gradually got noisier.
We've had this for 4 years and it still does a great job of reducing humidity. It has gradually got louder over the years and now only really be used in living areas. Used to just be a bit of a hum which was fine but had turned into a loud rattle. It is amazing how much water these draw out of the air. It has stopped musty smells in damp weather and we never get mildew on our clothes any more.
Purchased in July 2017.
Excellent product does exactly what it’s meant to very very well. AAA+++ rating
The amount of water this captures each day is mind blowing. It is simple to use just sent and forget. You can pick fan speed, and relative humidity of the room, or you can run it continuously. It’s extremely effective and a great product. Very happy with customer service and the machine.

This machine is perfect - changed my life - can't live without it!
I purchased this machine after seeing reviews on ProductReview and then contacting the company. AusClimate were able to answer all my queries over the phone, and were extremely pleasant and helpful in helping me choose the right model. Easy to set up and wow wow wow did it make a huuuuuuge difference to our indoor air quality. It went from thick, sticky, musty and damp smelling to vastly drier and healthier even after just one day of use. It seems our house is impossibly damp so I run the dehumidifier 24/7 and even in Melbourne's cooler cli...mate I get around 15 litres minimum each 24 hour period day in day out, and more when it is warmer and/or more humid weather. We had mould, mildew, damp and musty everything. Now the mould is gone (I had been using clove oil to clean up and kill existing mould for years and it always came back), the air is not musty, my clothes and furnishings don't smell musty, and even the house plants are thriving whereas before they seemed to almost be mildewing away in their pots. Because our home is large and two separate zones I bought a second of the same machine and I'm seeing the same results now in the second area (although it has better orientation and airflow so was never as bad as the main area). The machines just keep on keeping on, day in, day out. It's super-easy to clean the filter and pop it back in. The machines are robust, reliable, and a lot less noisy than I imagined they would be. In all seriousness these machines have changed my life: my house doesn't feel so depressing and dank, and it's easier to clean and maintain my home without the constant humidity we had previously. (One machine arrived with accidental damage while in transit and quick as a flash AusClimate sourced and sent out a new water recepticle to replace the one that had been damaged in transit). I can't speak highly enough of AusClimate, we have also gone on to buy an air purifier from them to remove smoke and other contaminants from the air.
Purchased at AusClimate.
Living in the scenic rim region a dehumidifier as a must and the supreme All seasons 50 litre is the best for the mountain humidity

Bought a ex demo model, delivery was punctual and it hasn't missed a beat.
Had flooded a room and needed to dry the floor under lino and it worked a treat.
Nearly 6 months on and still going strong with no problems.
Very nice product offering
Excellent pre-sales support from Ausclimate. The unit is well designed, built to a good standard, and very efficient. It removed a surprising amount of water on the first day of operation. Very pleased so far.
Purchased in September 2020 at Appliances Online for $715.00.
Does exactly what it is advertised to do. Outstanding product.
This machine does exactly what it is advertised to do. The company is fantastic, great service and when I originally wanted to buy 2 machines they suggested to wait and see if I required both . They could have taken my money but instead gave me fantastic advice on how to effectively use the machine. After a few months because I was so happy with the results I rang and ordered the 2nd one and they sent it to me at the original discounted price. I have had some mold build up due to humidity and the house has been so much better since using this product. It collected over 200L of water in the first 2 weeks. The house feels better and our health is noticeably improved.
The best in Australia! You will love it!
This product will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. I’m normally quite skeptical when it comes to reviews but this dehumidifier and company is amazing. If you live in Queensland I would say it’s a must! If you need a dehumidifier this is the best by far. Our house was previously 90% humidity, we now have it down to below 40. It’s so easy to use and you don’t even notice the slight heat change.
Noise is light, less than an air conditioner or a fan set to 2. There is two settings. The 2nd being more powerful and a bit louder but it doesn’t drown out the room.... The water collection is simple and easy to remove. Nothing feels cheap or flimsy. The air quality is cleaner and you don’t notice the slight heat increase from running the machine even if it’s all day. We did a lot of research before buying and are so happy with our purchase. I honestly don’t believe you could find a simpler to use/quality dehumidifier anywhere else.
The best dehumidifier
Our problem was dampness in the storeroom of the apartment we recently moved into. The storeroom is quite large but it has no ventilation, it's just concrete floor and no windows and pretty quickly we noticed signs of mould forming on our stored items. After a Google search we decided on an Ausclimate machine and it's just brilliant. The customer support is excellent, friendly and informative and saved us a lot of time understanding the controls and getting the machine up and running. Highly recommended.
Had unit for a couple of weeks now and very happy with performance. Is a bit heavy to lug up and down stairs , so just bought a second ( large size ) for upstairs . I regret not getting one sooner. Service from Russel over the phone was excellent.
This works! No more damp moldy rooms
After years of putting up with mold in Brisbane, we decided to try a dehumidifier after realising the only option left was to renovate and we just couldn't afford that or the fact it didn't hold any promises to fix the mold issues anyway. I called up Ausclimate to enquire about the machines after seeing so many fantastic online reviews compared to other brands. The receptionist arranged for Alan to call me within minutes. He spent about half an hour on the phone with me explaining which machine would be most suited and how it can help but also ...just gave me general advice on other things I can do to improve the mold and air flow in our home which was great. There were no pushy sales tactics at all and he listened intently to my concerns for our home. I mentioned the suburb I live in and by coincidence the manager lived not far, so the manager actually came out to my home within the hour to show me how to operate the machine for my particular home. He even left me with a trial machine overnight (no obligation) for me to see how I went. By the morning I could feel the air was amazing, the large shaggy carpet rug was nice and dry (cant remember the last time that happened) and the musty smells were gone. He explained once you do the deep drying in each room, then I can just run it on a maintenance schedule and it will keep the mold under control. We went with the larger Supreme NWT All Seasons 50L machine as we want to have it permanently on our downstairs level with all doors open and just run it every week when needed to draw out moisture through the rooms, rather than moving a smaller machine from room to room. We also got one of the temperature gauges which is really handy. The customer service from Ausclimate has been incredible. Both Alan and Russell are very customer focused and honest in their sales approach. We are happy customers and will certainly recommend to anyone that has mold or dampness issues in their home. So glad I went with this company.
Worth every dollar
With our annual wet summer we finally started to do something about the mould downstairs, within a few hours we could start to see the difference, after a week the room was perfect, we use the humidity monitor in conjunction, and it really makes a difference, when the humidity goes up over 60% we flick on the dehumidifier and watch the levels come down. Recommend using the two together if you don't want the unit running 24/7.
fantastic product, efficient and great customer service
Great dehumidifier, works efficiently and has helped us keep ontop of any excess moisture problems we have had in the past due to wet weather and dampness. Customer service is exceptional and always easy to get a hold of customer service staff with any queries we have had. I can't recommend the product and company highly enough and have even bought an additional 2 machines for my parents and inlaws.
We had a damp smell in the house for a while. Did some reviews on dehumidifers and Ausclimate seemed to have good reviews.
Called them spoke to a very helpful lady who advised me what model would be best for our size house.
It arrived two days later. Great service,I really can't believe where all the water it collects comes from,it's amazing.
Very Very Happy with my Ausclimate
I can't believe the difference within just the first few days
This Ausclimate machine has been a great solution to our household mold problems - living on the doorstep of a rainforest in Buderim.
After researching a few different brands i felt the Ausclimate was competitively priced for the size and function of machine in comparison.
It was easy to set up, straight from the box and it was surprising quieter than i had expected. The water bucket is really easy to empty (heavy when full), which i emptied several of in the first few days of running. I was also surprised by the amount of water it pu...lled from each room initially. The water was thrown over my garden to recycle it. Just set the desired humidity level and the machine does all the work. It will stop automatically when water bucket is full too so great to run all day whilst at work and not have to worry about it. Initially I used the machine in individual rooms/bedrooms with windows & doors shut - cupboards open and bedding stripped (amazed by the water drawn from each room so quickly). Once all rooms were done set in main living area and now only run maybe once a week / fortnight. I thoroughly cleaned all curtains & blinds - removing mold afterwards and 3 months on no return of mold at all in any room yet. A great product at a great price with proven results for me. Great product - Great Service - Great results. One happy customer here !
Questions & Answers
How is it for Melbourne weather? Is there any temperature range (for example: at room temperature 8-20 degree Celsius) it operates greatly?
Even though this model can dehumidify effectively in cooler temperatures, its optimum operating range is still in room temps above 20°C.
As the room temperature drops then so does the dehumidifier’s efficiency.
Choosing between a compressor type model like this one or a desiccant model will depend on when you want to use it the most i.e only in winter or all year round.
I would recommend checking out our article ‘Compressor or Desiccant; which one do I need?’ on our websites dehumidifier FAQs as this will give you a much better understanding.
In saying that, you are welcome to call us direct on 1800 122100 to answer any questions you have.
This unit looks like it ticks all the boxes! Can a humidity level be set? That is, can it be set to switch off when the humidity in the room comes down to say 50% then back on if it rises above that?
Yes, the humidistat can be set at a particular level such as 50%RH.
So the dehumidifier doesn’t continually turn on and off at 50%, it has a 5% leeway i.e. it will continue to operate until the humidity is reduced to 45%, then the unit will turn off.
When the humidity rises to 55% the unit will start up again.
In saying that, most people who purchase our products want to stop moisture related problems like mould, musty smells, dampness.
If this is the case for you, instead of maintaining your home at a set humidity level, there may be a better way of using a dehumidifier.
It can be much more effective and efficient to use it as a dryer i.e. run it for say 8 hours every few days or so to keep everything nice and dry.
If you would like further explanation on this, please don’t hesitate to call us on 1800 122100
How do you clean filter, or can you replace ?
The filter is positioned directly behind the front air intake grill.
To take it out, remove the water backet and pull or slide the filter down.
To clean, you can either vacuum or wash, if you wash it just give it a dry before placing back.
You do not need to replace the filter.
We recommend checking or cleaning every couple of weeks however this will depend on usage and the environment it is used in.
Hope this helps.
