Dishonest and incompetent
After being with Aussie for 4 months our Line of Credit loan (AHL own product not a 3rd party one) was increased by 35 basis points in a back drop of no rate increases. No advice from AHL just appeared on our statement. Went to contact our broker but the email bounced because he had left the business and AHL did not bother to assign another one. When I finally got to someone they gave the reason it was the APRA regulation changes that occurred in March 2017. This crowd are incompetent and dishonest don't go near them especially their own home l...oan product. March 3rd 2019 Update: Aussie again break loan conditions We have had a poor history of Aussie Home Loans changing the conditions and parameters of our loan in our short time since signing up for a line of Credit (LOC) loan with them. The latest is that the daily redraw limit ( amount that we can move back into our nominated account) was reduced to $2000. We only discovered this when attempting a redraw, no communication at all about this important change to customers beforehand. The imposition of this ridiculous limit means that redrawing is simply impractical and defeats the purpose of the LOC facility. After contacting AHL they say they implemented a new website so have to operate with lower limits. They are just farcical. They say that we can now process $20,000 manually if we phone them up. Another case of AHL changing key parameters that impact customers without bothering to notify them. The complaints consultant believed they had sent communication but when challenged could not produce it. Just a rabble of an organisation now owned by CBA. Stay clear of them, there is a reason they are rated poorly on this site.

I've just pressed the stats button at the top and it's probably good that I did. Does it seem weird that over 10 years the rating was constantly 2 out of 5 and then magically over a month or two there are 500 5 star ratings pushing the rating to 4 out of 5? This is also during coronavirus when things would have shut down quite a bit.
We've had plenty of feedback over the Covid period, which is still ongoing for many of our customers.

No. Wrong answer. The gentleman has no deposit. No one does over 100% loans and it would be over 100% as he’d has no funds and would be needing stamp duty. Not good to give false hope
Our Aussie Brokers can not only advise customers on whether they can get a loan or not, but also work with customers on getting them on the right path to being able to apply for a loan.
This is the reason we get customers speaking with a broker and this allows them to work with their broker to achieve their dreams.
I been reading the reviews. Is it me or is Aussie always like this?
So far we have been going since late January. It is now the 17th March. So far apologies for power outage, being unwell and asked to resign documents because LVR was written twice the amount it should be. Lack of phone calls and one application sent last week. Was told my wife credit score was only in the 500’s but no defaults whatsoever. My wife has always had exceptional credit and gets offered credit consistently.
Has anyone else had these problems or can you advise me as I’m getting cold feet very quickly and I’m getting nowhere?
Also can you suggest another company?
