I have experience from last January, took five months. Broker Sid doesn't have any experience and no respond from official complain from Aussi. Do not go with Aussi if you love your home.

If you love your home please do not go with Aussie
Aussie home loan mortgage brokers has no experience, they are just third party working for Aussie. I first contact Aussie Broker in January then by middle of February they lodge application from February to May they review my application. It's not for new loan It's refinance loan property valuation is 1.2M loan amount only 750k. Lodge application in February 2.24% two year fixed rate . I contact few time Aussie Broker and asked why it's take too long respond is Aussie home loans very busy but don't worry rate is locked in because we have lod...
Read moreged application already. I received email back in May saying congratulations loan is approved. I contact Broker and asked rate is 2.24% and is all looking good . He surprised me he said no your rate is 4.54% can you imagine what they trying to do . No excuses only says SORRY rates gone up. And then funny thing was they sending loan contract me to sign 2.64% fixed two years after negotiations. But loan documents says 4.54% when I questioned why instead 2.64% they said with two weeks loan settled your rate us 2.64% if not 4.54% I'm happy I reject the offer I didn't sign loan documents. I'm in Australia 17 years this is the worst brokers I ever see. Please save your home from this type of robbers. Please please please save your home from Aussie Home Loans.- Transparency

After presenting my case of working full-time, permanently, for the Government, I was told to come back once I earn more money.
I am currenty sitting on 200k cold hard cash with no loan.
If I can't get a loan, I don't know how any first-home buyer will. Go to a broker with more experience and leave Aussie in the dust.

The broker disappeared on finance day! Not answering his phone, not reply email or message. Did not process the loan as requested. We have to find new broker on the finance day.

Worst Ever broker. Wasted 3 Months Plus with them
I went to Aussie home loans due to the low rate published on their website. They said they are dealing with Adelaide Bendigo bank for my refinance. Its been 3 Months now, each time they come back with the request of new document which I provide and then they sleep for 1 week to response back. It has been going for ever now. I would recommend to go to any big bank and pay little extra then waste your time and energy with them. They are a big Zero.

Promising to make home loans easier, my experience has been completely opposite. For over two months and with lots of advanced notice and getting information organised in time, the broker that I have (Emily Norton) can only be described as incompetent.
I have to always chase her for an update. Information that doesn't change was requested multiple times. Some times, after sending it to her, she asked for the same thing again. The process was completely unpleasant especially if you are in a job where there multiple meetings to go to.

For over two months, she has lots of time to request an identity verification that an Aussie Home Loan requires. She didn't ask us to get it done until the 11th hour! We were overseas and she knew way in advanced in one of our email exchange. Again she didn't do what is necessary and caused us to miss out on an approval to bid at an auction the following day. This is an Aussie Loan we are talking about and how can an Aussie broker not know her own loan requirements? As I have said, she was given plenty of time to get it organised but nothing from her after providing all the information until I asked and chased her for an update. And then some more forms came through leaving the process impossible to complete properly through no fault of ours. Her unprofessional and lack of care has just made it untenable for us to proceed with Aussie. Stay away.- Transparency

AUSSIE , WE'LL GET YOU, HA HA
After about 4 weeks of training this company sends out people expecting them to provide you the customer with independent and unbiased advice on the best loan for your most important ever purchase or refinance loan. Beware of un trained brokers who have very little finance experience and also try and flog life insurance as a side line, buyer beware and there are much better options

Nightmare! Bad Service & Phone Etiquette!!! STAY AWAY!
I want to express my feelings working with Aussie Broker; [Name Removed] from Gosford, Central Coast, NSW. I put down deposit to the home I wanted to purchase, and later the broker started asking questions and documents she should have done in our initial meeting, such as pay slips, employment documents, and she asked pay slips from two years ago! I don't understand how that is relevant anyways! Two weeks until my finance should be approved based on the Contract of Sale of the property, she asked me that she can not consider my partner's employment history because the lender does not take anything less than 3 months. So we had no choice but to proceed with my income. She then stated telling me that I have to sell my fully novated leased car, and even then I could not borrow the amount I wanted. Then she said refinance the car. I said it is novated lease, and refinance means I have to pay all the interest to the current lender, and refinance over longer term with another lender and pay even more interest. Unbelievably bad
Related to the Paddington branch. They were all over us to start, then nothing. I have been calling and leaving messages for weeks. I would definitely not recommend. Go somewhere else.

Helpful when you first want a loan but they don't call you back when you want to end your loan with them. I've sent them 4 messages to try to find out how to exit my loan (because the automated call system just hangs up on you!) but I can't even get a response.

The most appalling service imaginable
Despite having commenced my loan application in July 2021, I had not received notification that my application has been approved by January 2022. In fact, despite my numerous attempts to contact him, the Aussie Broker has not responded at all. He has entirely gone missing in action. Concerned that this would jeopardise my chance of securing the property, I escalated my concern to Aussie Home Loans. Think carefully
We had a terrible experience with this company. They admitted too many people had reviewed the loan & the requested information was lost between them all. When we informed them we were walking away they lied that the loan was in last stage review three times. We have had numerous private & investment loans over four decades & never had the hassle & inconvenience this has caused. Our advice is take your business else where

So far we have been going since late January. It is now the 17th March. So far apologies for power outage, being unwell and asked to resign documents because LVR was written twice the amount it should be. Lack of phone calls and one application sent last week. Was told my wife credit score was only in the 500’s but no defaults whatsoever. My wife has always had exceptional credit and gets offered credit consistently.
Has anyone else had these problems or can you advise me as I’m getting cold feet very quickly and I’m getting nowhere?
Also can you suggest another company?
