BGC ROYALLY SCREWED ME OVER. DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS AND THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO GIVE ME A $10000 PRICE INCREASE
absolutely joke! delays delays delays. told my house will be built within 18 months from signing contracts. it is now over 3 years later and only just gone to lock up. now here’s me thinking it will only take another month or so to finish but no it it a minimum 11 months away!!!!!! my construction loan has now expired! I will be paying $500 rent plus my mortgage for 4 years and they still have the audacity to give me a $10000 price increase because they got greedy and took on to many jobs. bgc has promised the world but instead they have royally screwed me over. I have joined the class action lawsuit along with over 1000 other people. see you in the court room you absolute flog of a building company. Show detailsExtreme Delay
The bricks and temporary toilet have been sitting on the cement poured 8 months ago . The 12 months timeframe to complete the built is a month away ! I keep getting “the bricks will be laid in two months time and then we cannot find a brick layer . “ Show detailsStay Clear
Easily the worse decision we made choosing to build with ALH. Once you progress to construction stage expect the nightmare to start, nothing but delays and generic emails. Almost two years since we signed contracts and we only got our bricks completed in March. Still no time frame for roof cover. The only thing ALH are efficientin is issunig extension of times and invoices. Show details

( will update along our journey) - please keep in mind everyones journey will vary depending on your situationOur experience with our sales consultant
Our experience so far at Aussie Living has been made very easy thanks to our awesome sales consultant, Dan. He has been above and beyond with information and replying to our texts so we know exactly what the next step is and what is needed. He has been giving us updates throughout even outside of work hours in his personal time. He has excellent character and personallity which he includes into the phone calls and text which makes the whole experience feel alot more personal based and not all just work related. He has followed up everything and really makes the whole experience less stressful and easy to deal with. Could not ask for anyone better to deal with. Absolute legend. Went to my Plate High Meeting and my Supervisor told me yeah my timber will be here end of September and he will book my Roof carpenter and everything is sorted what a joke ....the next week I spoke to my consultant and ask when will they book my roof carpenter then she said no they cannot allocate one to me as there are many others in the queue waiting so I said that's not what my supervisor said... so I founded my own Roof carpenter and still no booking yet for my Roof. I am tired of doing my work and my builders work who I am paying to do the job.I'm not the only unhappy customer and I'm sick of your lies and your time delays. Show details

I am sick and tired of the crap excuses I am getting from our builder, Our colourbond roof has been sitting in dirt since the end of June! We get told constantly "I will get some more information as there is not any updated notes"Or things are booked in for certain dates, BLAH BLAH BLAH.... YET we got put in a scary situation of possible homelessness with three children because I was constantly telling my landlord YEP shouldn't be too far away and he got sick of waiting and put his property up for sale, Then we were given 30 days to find a new... WE SHOULDN'T OF BEEN PUT IN THIS STRESSFUL SITUATION!! We should be in our own home like we were promised within the 12 months like we were promised when we signed the dotted lines ! Yet two years since we have started this process and we don't have a roof on!! Our house has been sitting in the same position for 4 months possibly longer. (Have supplied a photo) Then I read about people who are building through them are either moving into their homes or at lock up stage.... and they signed up 8/9 months after us ! Someone even 12 months after us and they have moved I'm already !! Then I see you have been able to build a fancy display home when you have got customers sinking in financial stress due to your incompetence. Non of the "delays" are our fault, invoices from the bank are paid within 48 hours of being issued. Yes we have an outstanding variation bill to be paid off but I'm not paying anything because the delays are not caused by us at all. I am extremely nice and very understanding when corresponding with the administrator's. In fact [Name Removed] our contracts administrator is the only good thing going for your company. I hope you don't loose her from all the pressure and lies she has to cover for you. Aussie Living Homes I am one ticked off customer.

Hi, just wondering. When you order some materials like for example roofing materials, do you supposed to know when it will be delivered on-site? And what’s the standard time frame for you to start the job to install that materials? Thank you

installation. Each home is unique and so the time varies but you will always be kept informed if there are any delays. I hope this helps Babeth but please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any more questions. 9241 4911Can anyone suggest how long they do take to start building after shire approval. I am aware of some other builders who do start works in 2-3 weeks from shire approval. I am building with Aussie living, more than 1 month already gone from shire approval date. Initially they say its around month. Now they say its another month. when I ask why so late they say they have million things to do. I am not sure how many millions thing one need to do to start building. obviously I feel its rude response. Probably its not appropriate response to any client you work for. Now I am struggling to trust what they say. Can any one have experience with them in this regard.

independent building inspector . Well you must get used to the rude responses and blatant lies . Everything said the quality of the building is the hands of the site supervisor . The office staffs are mere puppets . Make sure you do include the soakwells in the contract . I wasnot happy with the way they did the drainage or the provisions that they were supposed to do as per contract . Take photos of something you are in doubt of ,while the construction is happening , so that you some evidence to talk to the office . You will not get a chance to have a direct communication with site supervisor. Cheers hope this helpsTo be honest I think it depends entirely on the individual members that u deal with. We had been patiently waiting as it was for the title of our property which took a year already (which is not aussie livings fault) but I just don't understand why on earth it is taking so long?! feels like we have been waiting an eternity and we didnt even get an estimated date on when the pad will go down till I asked 50x, then when I asked them why it will take so long I got no response.... what do I do to get it rolling a tad faster????
