The worst postal service I have ever seen
Unfortunately you can not rate below 1 star or it would be minus infinity.
Australia post would "HAVE TO BE" the worst postal service I have ever seen. I have had parcels sitting with them for up to a week unprocessed, their deliveries are pathetic, their customer service is pathetic and the constant excuse of "Covid-19" delays is beyond any comprehension of lies, it has been going on for years and these people think they are "untouchable" because they work for a Government service, I have had a parcel sit in a post office for 3 weeks and "no o...
I’ve had made multiple orders within Melbourne, Victoria that are coming from businesses within Victoria to Drouin and have been waiting between 3-4wks each time. I’m totally angry with Australia post for their lousy efforts during this pandemic. I’ve lodged multiple inquiries into multiple parcels previous and currently waiting.
Aus post are an absolute shameful service!!!!!
worst post service
One of the worst service i have received from a national courier post service, it takes forever to receive the item via Auspost.wish there were more healthy n competetive courier services available like NZ or US here. They leave a slip in our letterbox despite delivering the item at door and the slip is for post dated collection as later as 3 days :(
Tracking was fine and accurate, updating as required
Product delivered safely
Had issue to say was delivered but through investigation this was sent from vendor not Australia post.
Happy to use again in future
Informed with item tracking on 30th Sep. Parcel onboard for delivery today. Stayed home all day. At 4 in afternoon. My tracking changed On the post app and stated item to be delivered between 1st - 6th October. Isn’t that just great. What a f#%k around. Let’s just put it down to the COVID virus. That’s the excuse for everything now. Isn’t it????? Been weeks and aus post still can’t cope. Pull your finger out.
Friendly local courier man / driver Mr Denkha
Package always arrives on time
They keep you informed always about the package location and the expected day of arrival
Highly recommend to everyone
Thank you Australia Post.
Just WTH... really... WTH
It's taken a while to provide this detail as I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but come on, what is going on with this service, or lack thereof? Each and every single time I order something, without the doorbell being rung, once ( and we are home, right???), the package is left at the door, for all and sundry to see and possibly, steal. Would it kill you to ring the doorbell, ore knock? Just something to let us know a delivery has been made... It's bad enough it takes 6 weeks to get something delivered next door, and yes, it's a b...usy time, but if you can't stretch yourself to advise of a delivery, if this is too much for you, find another job! This isn't for you. Australia post has become the laughing stock of our country, well, along with Victoria, but recent activity, and lack thereof has really, really proven the redundancy of this service and that it needs an overhaul like most of the government in this declining state. Fail. Epic, epic fail.
Still awaiting with no movement from the 2nd of September. Packages being delivered within 1 day or 2 now that I am not selecting Aus Post. But still waiting for all others. Tracking number 33FJV931362601000930300 Absolutely Appalling.
left parcel in plain view for all to see whilst not home & looks like its been pinched
26A501545201000931508, brough wheel ramp and chocks for our van, whilst we were out got a txt msg stating it was delivered. Got home and could not find it anywhere. Australia post advises me driver took photo of where he left the item, yes he left it in plain view for every man woman kid and there dogs to see let alone anyone driving bye could see it. The driver could of left behind the gates as i have advised them in the past or even against the brick wall by the door so no one could see it, instead they left it on the ramp towards the front d...oor where all could see. Called Australia post and they opened an investigation however over a month goes by and only this morning get an apology & claims that the driver left it at correct address, and in future will leave a card if can't be fitted in mail box to collect from post office. And ofcourse they use the excuses of Covid for the delay getting back to me. I even have issues with sending parcels as when i check the tracking the items days later are still sitting at the post office, we all pay good money to have items delivered to and from yet Australia post use this pandemic as a get out of jail card, on the other hand they ran a story on how Australia post has opened many other sorting centres for social distancing reasons but to also stay on track, what a load of chit Australia post talk, there slower than Fastway has ever been. I tend to use Sendle these days and f..k me there fast - a clear example i send a parcel from my place on the mornington peninsula parcel going to south Australia, Sydney and is there next day,Qld & tas 2 days Perth and N.T max 3 days & even my place to melbourne metro same day delivery, Australia post are just thieves charging us an arm and a leg yet parcels coming from China costing them less than $1.90 AU they deliver faster than they do our parcels. End of the day use Sendle as there faster, safer & much cheaper and listen to instructions plus they track your parcels without delays. I send parcels 500 gms my place to anywhere in Melbourne $6.20 flat rate and same day delivery, over 500 gms $6.90, and for other states $7.50 to $8.40 much cheaper than Australia post and best part is they collect it from your home so no stuffing around waiting in line at under maned post office and you do not pay or are extorted to pay Australia posts hefty fees & then find out your items have not moved in days nor has tracking been scanned on your items wareabouts. As recent stories on the media most may find that the posties have a number of items at there homes and then if they find its useless they go bury the items in a national park as another was recently caught in doing this. To me Australia post are useless morons no brains at all just full of excuses lies, lies & more lies. USE SENDLE trust in me you will be at ease knowing you will receive your items and they will deliver them without issues super fast, Sendle 10/10 - Australia post minus 1 million infinity
the customer service was very helpful and super friendly, they knew what they were doing and the cost of the post was very reasonable. I will use them again
Postal service is awesome!!!
I’ve always sent surprise packages to my family and friends. I’m always surprised at how quickly ( even during covid) that the packages arrive. Just bought something online and 2 days delivery was great.
Missing parcels sent to Victoria.
For some reason in the last 3-4 years. A lot of the parcels l send to Victoria, from NSW go missing. Of the face of the planet never to be seen again. Prior to this l was very happy with Australia post.
I waited for tax notice from ATO over a month. At last, I called my accountant, he told me that ATO sent out on 4/8/2020. Bloody hell what Australia Post is doing.... 2010s is worse & now the WORST
waste of time
advised by text parcel delivered checked all around front of house checked with neighbours no parcel contacted aust post after many attempts finally spoke to lady explained i did not receive parcel she checked photo taken by courier was not my house told courier would find and deliver to me still no parcel or call back finally received parcel by the owner of home courier left my parcel at by mistake, lucky for me an honest person no thanks to aust post, still no word from aust post seems the whole of aust post need a clean out and start again
Inconvenience, ineffective and unexpected charges.
My parcel is always sent to Annandale whiles there is a post 10mins close to me & I have to pay for the transfer because they cant send it closeby, or I have to order for a uber to Pick my parcel. I have created an account and made a change where my package can be left in a box but nope the post does what they want.
Also, AusPost app doesn't give details when a the parcel has arrived or its inbound or outbound , delivering address etc.
Moreover there is no delivery text message and neither does the driver even knocked on the door or rang the ...
Parcel dropped off Saturday 9am to go over East. As of Wednesday, still in Perth. Totally Useless. Almost 2 weeks estimate to deliver a small/light domestic parcel. Nearly $20 for the service.
0 stars. Not even worth 1 star
Aust post should stop giving the tracking number and should just delete the app as its no use anyway.
Been 4 days since they got the parcel and no information available for tracking sender says the box left on tuesday and its still still in NSW and “In Transit”. I wish i could give them negative 5 star rating if i could.
I avoid using them at all costs. I pay extra to the sender to get it delivered by other private courier companies.
This time the sender said the box was taken by private courier and handed over to them later. The result is no information available now about my box and stuff inside.
Thanks Aust Post but no Thanks.
Non existent service
My parcel has been sitting at Somerton since the 31st July and hasn’t moved. I understand COVID is making deliveries slower but this is ridiculous. Waiting for face masks since 20th July.
What a joke.
Worse customer service ,i have ever experienced. After multiple times of calling after my parcel that was meant to be delivered but didn't recieve anything. 3 weeks later I'm told that there is nothing they can do. I just have to expect that what i paid for in these hard times i won't be recieving. Absolute joke!!
Maybe get your delivery drivers accountable to show proof that they have dropped the product off at the address especially when we are paying for product to arrive, we deserve the right to know where it is.
Had a package sent from one location to another in the same zip code. Instead of delivering it, like a competent company would, they sent it off to the city. Worthless idiots.

I can see that your registered article was delivered today. Have you received this?

It says it's just been accepted by a driver so you will receive it today :) please allow up until 5pm to receive it.
I have been waiting quite some time now for a parcel to arrive. It was originally sent from the USA but arrived in Sydney on Sunday the 12th May. And when tracking it it says that it departed Sydney Sunday 12th May at around 8.40am to arrive at its destination (me) on the Gold Coast Qld. But it still has not arrived. That seems way too long for a parcel to come from Sydney to the Gold Coast? I've had over night parcels before. Can you possibly let me know any more information. The parcel tracking number is LX630472362US. Any information would be greatly appreciated please. I desperately NEED this package asap AND I paid for Priority international shipping too! Thanks again, Nyree

I understand you are eager to receive this item. I've had a look at the scans for this on our internal system and can see that this hasn't arrived in Australia yet.
USPS' tracking runs off an estimate of when the parcel will arrive in the destination country, based on the flight manifest they anticipate the parcel will go on. Of course, delays at airports do happen and your parcel doesn't always make it onto the plane USPS thinks it will get on, which causes that estimation to be thrown out. Their scans however, do not update to reflect any changes.
When waiting for an international article to come here, it’s always best to go by what our scans show, as we'll update it once it actually arrives here.
If you don't have this item by this time next week at the latest I recommend contacting the sender so they can initiate an investigation to look into this further with USPS. If you have concerns you can also contact them now if you like for assistance.
