The true test is when something goes wrong
When the heavens opened up and rained hail down upon the unbelievers, and their roofs were holed and their ceilings caved in and their carpets became sodden and the power was no more and we all reverted to cavemen and women (but with running water) and God looked down and said,' that'll teach you for turning away from me'. And we look about in despair and gnashed our teeth and wrung our hands and furrowed our brows and wondered what we should do and why God had singled us out for his wrath. Then I remembered I had a fully charged mobile phone a...nd I secretly thanked Steve Jobs and that other guy who has a name like an eye chart and I called Australian Post insurance who rewarded me with music and informative titbits about Paul McCartney of Beatles fame while I awaited. Then I remembered that my wife also had a mobile phone equally charged, so I called the SES as there was rain falling upon my carpet and I was again rewarded with calming music while I waited. During this time of waiting, I summoned my family to gather pots and buckets, and other receptacles so that we could collect the rain that was now falling inside the house and they did this without questioning my reason or motive and I thought perhaps this was some others family or they had finally been afflicted with the light of my logic. Then with the sound of dripping water, I dared to turn the computer on and contact both Australia Post Insurance and the SES to seek their assistance. During my endeavours on the computer, a lady from Australia Post Insurance began to speak to me and she arranged for people to come to my house to remove the sodden insulation and for an electrician to isolate the switches in my house which was done that very day. Then, despite an overwhelming workload. My home had its holes patched and made safe. Eventually, Australia Post Insurance paid out the claim and I arranged for the house to be repaired. Of course, I could have sat back and allowed Australia Post Insurance to organize all the repairs but for reasons we won't go into now I decided I could take on that task.
