Registered letter not delivered even if at home but the Post left us the notice to visit their office
The Postman has repeatedly left the registred letters that requitred signatures in the box even if we were at home. Now they left us a notice to go pick it up from the post office even if we were at home and heard the postman motorcycle coming. They did the same with our parcel a couple of months ago.
They simply save time and effort at our cost, their customers cost.
Lift your game or disappear.
There are too many individuals occurrences to list. They range from consistently damaged cartons to lost parcels, attempted deliveries that never happened, and parcels stuck somewhere, anyone's guess, and no way to contact anyone about their actual whereabouts.
Lift your game, you have private couriers that are circling you like sharks. They run rings around you! It's any wonder you still exist.
Parcel took over 10 days to leave Australia
I posted a parcel to Germany on Dec 11. It was still in Australia on Dec 20 and
longer. Australia post needs complete overhaul
Insanely high salaries for unqualified CEOs.
Expensive lost parcels
I recently sent one parcel to the US and one parcel to QLD, both under 1kg, using the cheapest options that had tracking and signature for both. And guess how much it cost me? $60. I had been very unhappy with postage costs that are too high for a long time but this was the straw that broke the camel's back - or rather the brick. Sent in a written complaint and have only had rubbish written back to me, including the line 'we have recently updated our pricing structure in response to customer feedback' because presumably those customers wanted t...o be screwed over. In addition to this, the Post Office was frantically busy as always - I feel like I spent all afternoon there when really I could have spent it on the couch for what it cost to post the items. I think the best way to think of this is really as a tax imposed by the government and bloated management of Australia Post who know that they can currently get away with it. Update: they lost part of the delivery that I sent to QLD. Absolutely furious and will be demanding a refund next time I'm at the Post office.
Appalling service - two months and yet to arrive
I mailed an envelope containing a document on 11 October to Ireland. It came back to me 10 days later and the staff at the local PO had no idea why it was returned. So they sent it off again. Still hasn't arrived.
7 months to deliver a package
My MIL sent a book as a present from the UK in 4th April, for a birthday in March. Today 27th November the parcel arrived! The parcel left the UK on the 14th of April and has been somewhere for 7 months. Poor form Australia Post.

Terrible - Use another Courier Company!
Ive had a few issues in the past with Auspost but this is the final straw. I had a parcel shipped from Australia to Sweden on Oct 13th and it arrived in Stockholm on October 21st, where it has been awaiting clearance since. Numerous times these past two days the company I bought the (limited edition pre order) shoes from have asked to submit a missing parcel enquiry on behalf of me, and Auspost have told them no since it can take up to 10 business days to clear customs. It has been 16 days now? I have bought other items around the world using D...HL, NZpost and UPS, and those arrived within ten days as guaranteed. It has been almost over a month since my parcel from Auspost was shipped and I have no idea where it is. Even contacted Swedish customs and Postnord who dont have it. If my parcel ends up missing and cant be located, I will lose out on these limited edition shoes that I preordered, and no lousy compensation will make up for it. For reference, my tracking no is LH133539382AU. I will never use Auspost again after this, and will pay any extra amount for a company that does use Auspost for standard international shipping, to use another service instead.
Help and support online.
I have just been on the help and support Australia post web page. I am enquiring about a parcel that has not arrived yet.
The help and support page is so easy and straightforward to use. Makes me feel like a valued customer.

Worst post service ever in the world!!!!
Basically AU post does nothing but steals money from people.
We lose many parcels because they send them to the wrong people.
BTW anyone can take your parcels and sign it!
A parcel was posted to me from the UK on 30th August. I thought I would have an update that it's actually in the country or with customs seeing as it's been a week.
I called the 13 number and spoke to a nice fella who said it probably came in on the weekend (last weekend) and is probably still needing to be processed etc and I should have it by Tuesday/Wednesday next week. Given that it is Friday today and no update I will not be getting it. I'm getting very worried this parcel is going to go missing much like my express post item did that I po...

They throw my package on the street front of my gate
We are ordering 5 dog beds from overseas and it came in 3 separate packaging. We found one in front of our gate, practically on the street not even the right address. Our house is a corner house with 2 street numbers 10 and 10 A. The package is for number 10 but they left it front of 10 A which is a rental pavilion. And we only get 1 packaged the two still missing after 3 months. We wrote a formal complaint to Auspost as per advice by our local post office who doesn’t take responsibility for this issue.
We run over the package with our car, th...
yay my item not lost
Australia post have done a top job very happy now thought my item was lost. arriving today!!! couldn't be happier. I can now recommend aussie post. and its arriving before original time frame. wow very impressed
Ordered a small item on ebay from UK. It took Royal Mail only 4 days to process the item and fly to Australia. It's now been in Australia 2 weeks waiting for Australia Post to get organised. I'm still waiting
Sent 4 individual cards to Ireland recently on the same day that took an unbelievable 1 month 3 days to arrive to each person! Sent parcel to my brother for his birthday beginning of June. Was told would be there in 9 days. It's now been 27 days and no sign off. Extremely bad unreliable service. Have had 3 other previous experiences of sending parcels, cards etc and same. They never ever arrive on time. Have tried express post and still late. Somebody is not doing their job! Terrible
Send cards to NZ for family. Used to be there within 8days. Now lucky to arrive within a month. What is going on Australia Post. You charge us extra to send stuff, and take 3 times as long for it to arrive now, even express post for a parcel still 2.5wks to NZ. What an absolute joke..why is it taking soo long. Last year and thos year, your service to the public is disgusting....

Well, I was sitting at home on May 10 2019 having a coffee on the sofa and my son was playing his video game. My phone gave me an email alert and it showed that at 16:40, my package from Japan was signed for and delivered to me.
I opened the front door to see if the local contractor had left it on the doorstep. Not their. I checked my letter box. No luck. I checked with my neighbour. Nothing.
I contacted Australia Post through Facebook messenger and they have lodged an investigation. This is so uncomfortable.

Questions & Answers
I had posted a letter to India on 11th December. I was told that it will Ben delivered in 10 business days.. however the recipient has still not received the letter..
what’s going on ? And how long will it take to get delivered ?
Hello and good noon from ISRAEL.
Can you advise, please, why LX047496619IL (sent by ECO POST ISRAEL) has not progressed yet to Goroke, VIC? When I track, it says: "Arrived awaiting clearance (Inbound) SYDNEY NSW Date & time Tue 27 Aug • 12:16pm".
When do you think this small package would be forwarded to Goroke, VIC?
Thank you very much,
Thank you, Jack S. Sounds good. I just wonder why I have not received an update about it as I'm subscribed to Australian Post Parcel Monitor. Thanks for your update though.

Our tracking does not say this has been delivered so I'm a bit confused where Jack saw this info. Our tracking says it was sorted through Sydney yesterday so it should be delivered within the next couple of business days :)
I have a parcel arriving from China LL673051217CN that arrived at Sydney Sorting Centre on 27Aug. Tracking then stated it was At Sorting Centre Sydney 31Aug- item processed. I now receive tracking info that it is At Sorting Centre BRISBANE. Does my parcel have the wrong address on it and should it be stopped before it gets delivered incorrectly?
No it will be ok, Brisbane’s just where most overseas mail leaves the country. There would be no way to stop it now anyway.

Happy to help and understand your concerns as you're in NSW and your item has been scanned through to QLD. The tracking doesn't show me the full address but it does tell me the receivers postcode which is QLD. I strongly recommend speaking to the sender to confirm this is the right tracking number for your order, it's very common for overseas seller to mix them up with other accidentally and confirm the address on the parcel.
