All I can say it that Australia Post is absolutely pathetic in every aspect of their business. Even on a world scale, its terrible. I now use DHL, that way I know it will be delivered on time.

What a scam. I paid to send a letter Express Post from Adelaide to Amsterdam. Was told it would take 5 days. Well now it is Day 12 and of course it has not arrived! Australia Post took 3 days after they received the letter to send it out of Australia! That is their version of Express. They need to look up Express in the dictionary. Did it go by Cobb & Co? My ex Staff needed the letter for a job interview. The interview is over and he still does not have the reference. AP is Mickey Mouse and deserves to go bankrupt. Next time I will use DHL who ...I have NEVER had an issue with. What a joke! Talk about pathetic Australian service and attitude. I will never use AP again. Intend to go to Consumer Affairs about this. AP are of course blaming the Dutch. Sorry. This letter should of been out of the country Day 2.
Atrocious courier service and even worse customer service
I ordered a very large package from Pretty Little Thing with the correct address in full. The supplier unfortunately had not included my company name in the address and therefore Aus post refused to deliver, even though my office is a tiny 2 story building with only 2 companies and considering they usually just leave our post in the downstairs lobby, they still refused to deliver to this building because of 1 missing line, the address itself was in full. They proceeded to return to sender and on Tues 10th I called them to try and stop this proc...ess from happening, I spoke to one lady that was particularly rude and suggested "You should have put the correct address in the first place" and then spoke to a supervisor of whom was very calm and helpful and advised that he would put in a request to have the package stopped and redirected to a local post office, due to the fact that they couldn't include "Level 1" to my address because thats classed as "tampering with mail" (I've not had this issue before with any other courier service) the supervisor recommended that I keep an eye on the tracker over the next couple of days... 2 days past and the tracker had updated to claim that the package had FINALLY left the Alexandria depot (of which I was advised I couldnt not attend) and had been delivered to Banksmeadow... when I called Aus post again today 12/12/2019 I was appointed a very rude customer service representative of whom had a very rude manner and tone who advised that this had been returned to sender and was out of their control. What an awful service, what an awful customer service team, no communication throughout, no empathy or assistance. The final women I spoke to refused to put me through to a manager because "They would tell you the same thing". This place needs an audit, better management, better customer service, better attitude, better deliveries!!

2nd time using Express International post. 2nd time my letter has gone missing in transit, little to confusing and mixed tracking messages and it never takes 4 days more like 6 to 8 days. Pay $3.20 and be patient or pay $38 and feel like a total fool like l did twice. It's def a scam in my eyes. It should be reported to consumer Affairs for false and misleading advertising. It gets your hopes up with fantasies of your friend receiving their parcel or letter in 2-4 days. But it arrives in the US after 4 days stays in customs 1-2 days and in betw...een gets lost. So never , ever , ever again. Don't do it unless you enjoy stress and want 6 days of confusion, emails, phone calls and heartache. Not to mention 1 hour on the phone with USA USPS when all goes haywire as it will.... pay $3.20 for a letter and whatever else for a normal parcel and wait. I'm at the point where l actually think it takes longer than regular post because so far it has and has come with 10 times more stress and confusion. My letter arrived but has not even been processed in the US at the border. Its the weekend so at this stage my friend will not get the urgent letters for another 2+ days . That makes a total of 7 days. bare in mind l posted it Sat with false hopes they would send it first things Monday. No chance, it was sent on Tuesday. 4 days after l dropped it off. There is no urgency, no express, no mutual collaboration with the USA. Its all so 1900. I cant bare it ! I feel sorry for the employees who have to get all the failed Express International calls from very stressed, confused and disgruntled customers. I put through a complaint 2 days ago about it. My letter has not been scanned even as arriving as yet and its day 5. So once again l feel like a total fool and feel totally scammed by Australia Post.
International Express not worth the money. Delay Adelaide PO to Melbourne. 3 business days before it leaves Australia.
On the 9 December 2019 I used international express to post an important document from Adelaide to London and I was assured that it would be there by Friday 13 December 2019. After tracking the document it has just arrived in Melbourne Thursday 12 December 2019. At this stage I am wondering why I have paid so much for an unexplainably sluggish service other than tracking.
I am happy to say though that on the 16 December 2019 the document arrived in Coventry, UK and cleared customs within an hour so its in transit. Finally arrived in London on the same day six business days after mailing in Adelaide.
Relieved it was not lost.

i am a sender, and sended the important document from Brisbane Market LPO 4106 to Hong Kong. i sended it on 27/8/2019, unluckiest is the document hasn't arrived to Hong Kong until now.

Best to avoid AustPost and opt for a courier service if you need a timely and reliable service
I sent an express parcel (postage was over $74) on 18th November 2019 via Toorak Post office at 10:59 am and was advised it will take 4 days to be delivered in Japan, When I tracked the parcel, it took 3 days to get to Melbourne facility (about 5 km away form where I posted) from Toorak and another 2 days to arrive in Japan. Now when I tracked the parcel online the status since 23 November is "Items received into Customs" and no one has been notified of the parcel either receiver or sender why and what is holding this parcel. When I made a c...all to AustPost of the tracking status why it has been sitting in the customs, I was to call the receiver of the parcel in Japan to make a call to Japan post office to find out what is holding up the parcel. Basically there is no End to End service unlike a courier service as I am told that Austpost will not contact anyone (either receiver or sender ) but just deliver a parcel from A to B. So there you go, if you want the parcel delivered in a relivable and timely manner, best to use a courier service (DHL, Toll or TNT - any of these will save you time and money in the long run) who will take care of the E2E service of a parcel delivery. I would have saved a lot of time, pain and anguish by using DHL, TNT or TOLL.
Worried about the document, never been that long
Hi I have sent important documents to Russia on Monday. It has not arrived yet. Tracking number EJ247782243AU. I am really worried its lost. Its so important .its been 8 days and it cleared customs in Moscow on Thursday but still not arrived.
Im the 10 month old babys grandmother & we are all devastated and heartbroken.
I rang on behalf of my daughter about the lost handmade christening gown. I reached nothing but dead ends with no one able to say anything more than they dont know where it is & cant help any further. This has been so upsetting and heartbreaking for us as a family & especially my daughter who went to so much trouble designing and choosing the fabric and lace. and the dressmaker who made it . It has to be somewhere! A parcel doesnt simply get lost with a clearly labelled name and address! So it isnt lost - its sitting somewhere with someone. It has to be somewhere; and when it was entrusted into the hands of Australia Post , with a clearly marked address - i believe it is not being looked for well enough.

So over auspost, we need a better more reliable service. Today I have been told they have lost my daughters handmade christening gown. Im devastated. I spoke to so many different people to finally get some helps 10 days later. To which I was then told because its taken so long its now marked as lost. Her christening is in just over a week and I have nothing. Thanks for letting me down. You are held responsible for ruing my 10month old daughter day.
November 27th 2019 Update: Need a no star option
Youre all crap!!! Only one person has called m...e back, other staff have lied to me repeatedly, my package is still missing. If it was my choice I would never ever use Auspost again. Someone with in your system is clearly stealing our mail. Clearly marked packages with tracking numbers dont go missing. Im surprised the AFP or what ever is breathing down your necks on a daily basis! So many things go missing, so many people are left with there items just gone! I wonder if I can lodge a formal investigation as to where my mail is going? I had something from the same country leave around the same time, arrive around the same time and it turned up( of course not with Aus post! ) I cant believe the damage and heartbreak you have created for so many people ..
Really helpful costumer service
I purchase something from overseas website and it was actually express delivery. But after 2 weeks I still didn't receive my packages. I contact the customer service from AU post via email and it was really helpful. They send me the details of what happen and give me exact date when will my package arrive. After 2 days I finally receive my packages.
Pick up in Los Angeles to deliver to Melbourne Airport - 12,691 kilometres - four days
Melbourne Airport to drop off in Adelaide - 727 kilometres - eight days

Zero Star if I could give this service
NEVER EVER buy Australian Post international Registered Post. Such a poor horrible service. I posted on the 15 Oct, and called the customer service, my letter just left the country last week (30th Oct). Are you kidding me? this service or product just a joke! IF you cannot provide the service, dont sell it!
Doesn't even deserve one star
Australia post is freaking pathetic, they mess you around and don't own up to it. They are a joke, they lost my parcel 3 times. Never got in contact with me, I had to call over 10 times. Got told I would get my parcel, never showed up. Been lied to, told we would get money to make it up to us, then next day we got told we won't
There should be a no star option.
Despite paying for an express delivery it NEVER reached its destination and on top of my family member was asked to go and enquire in 6 different locations to PICK UP the parcel.
Sent a parcel to my daughter overseas express paying the extra money being told that it will arrive in three to five working days. It has been 8 working days and still has not arrived at its destination. Shame on you australia post for your misleading products. Your failure to deliver on time and within reason had upset my little girl, making her father out to be a liar repeatedly saying " it should be there tomorrow". Up till now my daughter is still waiting daily for her gift. Thank- you, for I know next time to send with someone with a more reliable service.

I paid $59.60 to express post a time sensitive parcel to Singapore. It took a week to leave Australia, as of today I still don't know why or when it's likely to be delivered. Words fail me as to the arrogance of this service and some of their staff. Having the cost of sending the parcel reimbursed is not going to compensate in any way the fact that my daughter wont get her birthday present in time when she should have had it days ago, shame.
No one following up
Hi AusPost I had bad exp before. You guys lost my parcel. I don't want that happen again.
I called auspost international customer service. The gentleman "name call '[name removed]' he said tmr should be arrived. I wish it would come the next day. ( EN047352977JP )

Parcel locker useless
i request parcel locker because I could not pickup the item during post office opening hours.
The delivery mention the parcel locker is full and automatically redelivers to post office without any option to reschedule a delivery to parcel locker. (note: there is no any other options as well. Just an address and time to pickup from the post office it was directed to)
The whole point is I have work Monday to Saturday, post office close on Sunday!! if i wasn't so lucky that I am on break this Saturday, i wouldn't be able to pick it up. And it said i will sent back to in 5 days if not pickup. Sent back to Hongkong? What!

On 31/08/19 - Send an important parcel for a new business opportunity to The Netherlands with International Express, to arrive in 5 business days. Now it is 14/08/19 11:00pm and it still hasn't arrived.
Aus Post doesn't care once it reaches the country, they said nothing they can do, even though I have lodeged complaints and investigations, what a joke. I was planning on using Aus Post for all my shipments worldwide and there would be many, but first one they couldn't even get right. Terrible service and they don't, so beware if you think payin...

Will international parcels still be arriving in Australia during the coronavirus?
I posted a letter from the UK last Wednesday. According to the tracking information it is still at Heathrow a week later. It is an urgent legal document and needs to get to Brisbane by next week. Reference LG480967771GB. Can you investigate and at least tell me whether any post is getting through.
