Seriously don’t bother
I bought this card for use in china, the fees and charges go on and on....then my card expired when I realised I phoned to be told they charged me $1 a month for the 9 months it had expired! So they stole the $10 I had left on it. A new card was then going to cost me $15. Forget it, the website is not easy to use and I found it didn’t work in many places.
Wish I had read this horrible reviews before purchasing the travel card
I bought the go and load travel card a few days before going on my first solo trip to Cambodia. I encountered my first problem when I could not register the card with my Australia Post account. It would come up with the error message saying the card was already registered with another account. With no time to go back to the post office and 200 USD already loaded on the card I just crossed my fingers and hoped I wouldn't be stranded with no money.
Fortunately the card did work in ATM's and let me withdraw money but this is where the success en...

I bought this card today! And I've got exactly the same problem. This is why I googled online and found this is an existing issue!!!! I tried online system and the app, it didn't work at all!!! When add the card, it says "We are sorry, this card is already added to another account. Please check your details and try again, or contact Load&Go Customer Support for assistance."
The worst website I have ever tried to use
I endorse every bad thing every reviewer has said about the Load & Go website. I have wasted countless hours trying to log in. I am going overseas and have no idea how I would get in to the website to put money on my card. I have logged out and tried to log in dozens of times... sometimes, but not always, it will let me log in, but then goes straight to "add a card" ... sometimes that says "card already added" or asks CCV etc. again. I click continue and nothing happens. I'm at a stalemate. How, in 2018, can a website be SO bad???? If...my experience here is anything to go by, I fear that I will not be able to access my money overseas, and your help line is a joke - it just goes round and round in an automated circle. Truly the worst service in Australia. I would not give it 1 star, except that I cannot submit this review without a rating!! February 11th 2018 Update: What a joke. The reply to my previous review tells me to phone 1300 665 054. This is the exact same ridiculous automated loop on which I have already wasted hours of my time. Is there anyone at Australia Post who can actually tell a customer how to access their account? This website is beyond belief. I can get no further than "add a card", despite about 50 tries.

Can't believe that I can't get any help with the load and go card from what i see i am not the only one ITs about time you got this working properly.
Online system is a nightmare
Almost impossible to access your account online. I lost my card and now have money trapped on the account. No-one in an AusPost store can help you get a new one and now that I've finally have a new card I cant activate it as the online system is so bad. Save yourself the trouble and get a different card
Does not work - STRESS
Good start, easy to load, tested before leaving Australia = confident - BIG MISTAKE!! Can’t access my money if I could give this card a ZERO I would. Travelling in Thailand with my family & can’t access any funds. It will not work at any ATM anywhere. Very stressful running out of local currency brought from home & not being able to withdraw more. Where we are eating & shopping will only accept local currency & we now have none! Thank goodness our local tour guide felt sorry for me & our card worked in his card machine so we now have some cash to pay him!! Now what to do for the rest of our trip. Pretty grumpy so much unnecessary stress!!! Will now need to try & use it at our hotel with huge commission & low exchange rate!

Worst Visa Card Ever..
Worst Visa Card Ever.. I have 100 x $50 Cards that NO ONE online will accept... I gave them to 100 of my customers and they all returned them because NO ONE would accept them.... Worthless scraps of plastic. Cost me over $630 in Australia Post fees for the cards and $5000 for the credit and I cant use them. And they refuse to refund them....
Registering different email address to what using when a problem arises gets card blocked! GRRRR
I had the same experience went to post office where I purchased for mum, to check if working. Spent a $ on nothing to learn no pin under $100 tap and go. Cost me over a $ off card. 87 yo mother goes to NZ Friday 19 Jan, it won't work. Cousin tries with her email and her mobile phone number, now card blocked due to fraudulent attempt. I can see online as I registered it but call centre can't help unless mum who doesn't have a mobile with her phones and says ok!!!! I am her enduring power of attorney registered. Surely it can just be unblocked to allow me to reset currency to NZ $ and then she could use. I had a similar experience three years ago.
iPhone App not working for me
My wife & I are able to access both our cards & all wallets & transfer funds on my wife's Android phone App, but unable to do a damn thing on my iPhone Load & Go App. What is the problem with the iPhone App & can you fix it. Please advise A.S.A.P. Thanks in advance, Jim.
Still waiting for some kind of resolution
Had two visa load and go gift cards. Called yesterday and advised that we may have lost one and what the process would be to transfer the funds from the "maybe lost" one to the other. Was told I can't do it. Asked how to get the remaining $217 on the card, was told I can't. Man on the phone was so rude and unhelpful, until I looked online while on the phone and said "well it says you can do it here if it's registered", he said "Oh yes, if it's registered you can but yours is not". I told him we have one more place we could have dropped it which...we were going to check out. Meanwhile, I asked to speak to his supervisor. No supervisor was available, so he told me I would receive a call within 24-72 hours. Fast forward to half hour later, we actually found the card at the last place we'd been. Went to use it, and it had been locked. I never asked for this card to be locked, nor was I told it was going to be locked as we were still checking. Now I've spend 45 mins on hold this morning to their "24 hour helpline" with no answer, trying to get the card unlocked. How a company can treat you this way with such abismal customer service so close to Christmas is beyond a joke. Never use one of these. There is a reason their rating is so low.
Waiting waiting again
We had a load and go card which was used for a transaction online and unfortunately the product we purchased was online and we requested vendor To give us a refund on return of the product of Which took ages and when they finally refunded our money it was refunded into our expired load and go card. We then had to contact the Australia Post in charge of the load and go card and then went through a lenghthly process of identification requiring us to give a six digit access number which unfortunately we could not remember as it had been over six ...months and the card had expired, finally after a considerable amount of time, it was agreed that they would send us the refund via a money order, two weeks after that we received the money order and then, Only to discover that it had been issued with an incorrect surname which was actually part of our email address ? We obviously could not cash the money order for our refund so had had to call Australia Post again and had to go through the id process again even after explaining the card was expired and we couldn’t remember the 6 digit access number.. we were then told it had to go through the department that issued the cheque which would take 4 working days...before we could discuss it with them when they call us.?! Can’t help being a bit frustrated seeing it’s our money and we have to wait because of a mistake made by them ? Not happy!
Absolute rip off and appalling service
I purchased my Load&Go almost 2 years ago and have never been able to use it. It failed miserably in South America and I was unable to withdraw any money at all, despite me being able to use it via the web, transferring money into the account. My money is STILL stuck in it. I have attempted to contact them SO many times, and always the response is the same.... 'sorry you are frustrated' ... get help online, or phone. Online or on phone, you have to know your pin. Well I don't. Can I reset it? NO. Can I talk to a human? NO. CONTINUALLY they stan...dard email reply me with 'we have responded to you problem'. Aust POST HAS NEVER actually helped me. They have my money and the card will expire and they will steal the lot. I am furious. And to top it off, now I hear that I have pay for customer support. WHAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT? Sorry about all the CAPS, but this is truly disgusting. Not even 1 star.
If I could give 0 Stars I would warning do not purchase this card
I purchased one in July for our Volunteer Fire & Rescue bridge to use it to purchase coffee's etc after attending jobs. We used it once, it was fantastic. The next time we went to use it, it had "insufficient funds". Upon checking all of the money had been used for 3 Telstra transaction, definitely not ours. I immediately lodged a dispute and was told I would hear back shortly, however the dispute would take 120 days and if it was found that we had indeed used the card ourselves for those purchases we would receive a fine of $30 per transac...tion disputed (we have 3). I didn't hear anything so called back in October to be told no dispute had been lodged (very frustrating considering the amount of time I had initially spent on the phone to the overseas call centre). A second dispute was then lodged by me, this time I did receive an email confirming my dispute. Today I have called back (2 months later) to find out what is happening and was told it's "pending" and they are due to get back to me in February next year. What a joke. We are a volunteer organisation in Australia, not wherever this call centre is. I thought I was purchasing an Australian product from Australia Post, not an overseas product. How can Australia Post get away with selling this product. I have read other feedback and it appears to be all bad, yet they keep on apologising and keep on selling the product.

I had a similar issue with this card. I tried to buy via eftpos at a shop with my savings in this card, and could not rectify the issue.
When I contacted load and go, to help me to get into my online Australia post load and go account they wanted me to give them a photo of my medicare card and drivers licence detalis online. I felt that doing this online may be unsafe, due to the possibility of I.D theft
Also, when I had money stolen out of my Australia post load and go account, when I complained to the Australia post staff, they would not even investigate it, or follow it up. The fees for load and go are very expensive. I think that you are better of using a special fee free or low fee bank account for online purposes, to get better customer service and lower fees.
