Cut the crap
parcel received by Aus post and 4 days later tracking says "received and awaiting processing " Im supposed to write thirty words what else can I say about poor performance Corona virus being blamed for bad service

What a joke!
Really wish they took the word Australia out of their name because the service they provide is not what I would call Australian anymore. Absolute garbage! 7 business days for a letter! days and days for a parcel to travel a few hundred klms, lost packages, packages delivered to wrong address and stolen. All of these things have happen to me in the last 4 MONTHS. Claiming its corona virus' fault! what crap! hire more people, do the job we pay you to do and do it better!! I'll tell it how it is!! Australia post sucks now!

Poor management in deliver items and keeping client home safe, always left gate open after delivery. Pure lazy.
Poor handling of delivery and slow in delivery. Often left gate open and too lazy to wait for a minute for someone to get the door and "run" away. Damaged my gate and this time today again left gate open. Very irresponsible. Customer service is poorly managed despite multiple concern raised for the above. Better use Sendel, cheap and fast even delivers during weekends with way much cheaper rates. Australia post is unreliable.

High cost, super slow delivery
Firstly, waiting 13 days for a parcel sending from VIC to SA ( ridiculous!). Secondly, I’ve been home all day to receive the parcel but the delivery guy just left a collection card without knocking the door. I have to walk to post office collect it myself after4:30pm. Informed this issue to local post office, the lady said : nothing I could do, I’m just a post office officer. (Of course, what can you do?) How could you guys increase postage/ delivery costs every year but unable to provide the basic service?! Disappointed!

Terrible and careless
Just received a tennis racquet yesterday. Thank goodness my wife was there when the delivery guy arrived. He was just about to throw the tennis racquet into the house like a newspaper when she explained we have a gate!!! He wasn't in uniform so suspect he was some form of contractor. Incompetent and rude. Shame on Aust post. We deserve better.

Can not believe companies still use them
As a business, we never use Australia Post. Far too many reasons, but many past issues with deliveries. However some of our suppliers still use them and our deliveries continue to NOT be delivered. We work from a home office. 'We missed you' cards keep being put in letter box forcing us to waste time going to post office to pick up parcels. Latest was a very small parcel that would fit in the letterbox, in addition to this I was home all day. ust leave it in the letterbox, it was so small. My only assumption is the post worker can't find it in their van so just drops the card and dumps it back to the depot. Multiple talks with Aus Post about the issue with no resolution. I've taken photos with explanations, debunking their false reasons behind the none deliveries. Every time, they just say they will talk to the depot. Last weeks complaint didn't even go through the system and was lost. They can't even get complaints right.2 comments

Please send me a private message here with your full name, contact number and any case numbers you have from previous complaints. I can ensure this is escalated with senior management at your delivery facilities if you're continuing to have this problem after we've already reported it. It shouldn't happen in the first place but if it does, one complaint should definitely be enough to fix the problem. I'm so sorry for the time and effort this is continuously causing you. Received a delivery, opened it up and even though it was well packaged and secure, the delicate items were smashed into a million pieces. It looked like it had been dropped from a high height or someone had jumped on it. Aus post took 0 responsibility. No duty of care. And refused to even respond when requesting investigation.

Our process for claiming compensation for damage during transit is to take the parcel in to your local Post Shop to fill out a damage report. We do need to assess the whole parcel, contents and packaging to confirm the items were packaged safely and if that's the case, we'll arrange compensation to you directly. an aus post employee at a aus post)and that i would be receiving nothing. But within the response it also mentioned missing items which also wasn't correct. i did try and get in contact to say the information was actually incorrect and i attached photos that they wouldnt have previously had but i have not received a response. that was 3 weeks ago. my item are still at aus post and at the moment this issue is just floating around. Worse than useless!
They send my parcel back and forth around the country, just updating the expected delivery so they can keep saying that it is arriving on time. !?!?! Hire more staff and fix your mess Aus Post.

This is not a staffing issue though, this actually indicates that our sorting machines are unable to correctly understand the address and can't work out which delivery facility to send it to. It could be an issue with the address written on the parcel but it may just be that it printed faintly or has become smudged or otherwise damaged by rubbing against another parcel in transit. Whatever the cause of the issue, it does look like manual intervention is required to get this fixed up and on it's way to your correct delivery facility. Please either get in touch with our help and support team on 13 13 18 or send me a private message here with your details and the address this should be coming to. Also, it's a good idea to ask your sender to get in touch with us as they'll have information about the physical appearance and labelling of the parcel which will help us identify it faster. -CaseySimilar opinion? Doing the best they can in Covid-19 times
Ive had a number of parcels sent to me and with their tracking ability, I know how far they are away. That keeps my anxiety at bay, knwung they are held up in processing or even with the postal delivery person. It's a challenging time with Covid-19 and Australia Post are doing their best to get the job done without comprising the health of their staff.

Getting worse every day
I understand post is delayed with COVID-19, but when I can get a parcel from the USA in 4 days but can not seem to get Australia Post to keep a parcel in the correct state, it is hard not to judge the inefficiency of our national postal service. On 24 August, Australia Post was handed a parcel in Mt Gambier. This parcel made it to Qld on 30 August into the Redbank facility, which is only a few minutes from its final destination. s now been sent to Sydney. Why? Essentially, it is because Auspost are a national disgrace and have no idea what they are doing. Why have a parcel sitting in the correct state and then forward it back interstate AWAY from its end destination. This is yet again another example of why Auspost will never be competitive again. Edit: the parcel finally arrived and I received a PM from Auspost stating that due to COVID-19 they have delays etc.... Well, the rest of the world has the same issues and many far worse, but they keep mail moving. Consistently terrible
Have made 3 complaints in 7 weeks relating to postal service motor bike delivery driver for local area. Does not deliver parcels yet he has them on him, lost a registered letter, pre fills sorry you were not home and puts them in my letter box when I’m standing out the front of the house. Aus post website crashes when you lodge complaint- not handy at all. Ring local post office and they don’t want to know about it- told to ring 13 number even though website says report to post office

Terrible in every aspect
Reduced deliveries from daily to 3 times per week. When I was young it was 11 times per week, what we have now is a third world system but the upper managment is getting massive bonuses, what a joke!

one week to get one parcel, still waiting on another.

Late deliveries
I ordered a couple of Maxwell & Williams White Basic Soho Rim Dinner Sets, Stanley Rogers Acacia Black Knife Block 6 Piece Set Stainless Steel, Stanley Rogers Cambridge 30pc Cutlery Set and Stanley Rogers Albany 8pc Steak Knife Set Stainless Steel but it was delayed and they all came late so I wasn't happy.

Never deliver to the door
On numerous occasions, the status have shown "Attempted delivery but not one in attendance" when that is completely untrue!!!! Everytime, I have to go and collect it from the post office.

What on earth is going on?!
Been checking my app for my delivery 10 times a day, up until 1pm today it showed it's in Welshpool WA.
All of a sudden at 2:30pm I get an email saying it's coming today!?
Check the app again, and it shows it was updated at 7am this morning...nope I checked a hundred times today from 6am onwards.
Been home all day, and it still says onboard for delivery...ok cool.
Go outside to find I've been carded. But the tracking hasn't even shown attempted delivery.

Item did not move for one week
Im waiting on a package from Brisbane, tracking said it was in transit but only arived in Melbourne the following Friday. I understand there are delays but this is ridiculous.

Very slow delivery and bad service
We in Aust used to have one of the best postal services in the world now with very high paid excutives we have gone backwards and now have a third world service. It is no good blaming the virus as by now they should have overcome all that. We know that it is the excuse that the telecom, Banks and all big companys use but what excuse are they going to use when the virus is gone.
Please note the high paid excutives are not taking a paid cut but keep taking more. Why should it take two weeks or more to send a package from Sydney to Perth in this day and age

Hi Rose,
This item was estimated to arrive today as it can take up to 8 business days from Perth to Queensland however we should allow a few extra days as delays can happen. We advise customers to allow an extra three days for delays so it should hopefully be delivered to you by the 27th. I know it's concerning not seeing any new scans but it's normal not to see any whilst your item moves interstate and the next scan you should see is once it's sorted in Queensland then another scan at your local delivery centre.
