Box was extremely damaged & Worker pretended to throw the box at me
Package was delivered in a timely manner but I could not track my item. Box was extremely damaged & Worker pretended to throw the box at me and laughed. Very unprofessional
I have ordered vinyls from auspost before, but this time was just shocking. This fragile item was left in an unsafe, and ridiculous place (left me looking for a good 10 minutes) thought someone had taken it... was shoved under a gate, which is very susceptible to dirt and weather. Another vinyl came the week after, and after another failed attempt to get it in the same spot as before, it was thrown on the front porch. Lucky JB-HiFi packages them well but am quite upset with the handling of these items

Are the postal delivery personnel the laziest bunch or what? Fully supported by Australia Post!
I have complained about the issue of not getting parcels (large and small) delivered to my door countless times! I am mostly home, so that excuse won't work! So have others, in my circle of acquaintance!
It means that us oldies especially, have to turn up at our post office and cart around at times heavy parcels because the lazy postal delivery personnel can't be bothered to deliver the parcels to our door!
Do I (we) ever hear back from Australia Post? Never! It is just ignored and the practice continues unabated! An absolute shocker as far as service to the public is concerned!
UPDATE: Surprise surprise! My parcel today was delivered to my front door! Will this continue, though?
Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear this is happening and that it is continuing after you've previously reported it to us....

I can look into who we've addressed this with, what actions have been taken so far and how we can escalate it further to ensure delivery attempts are always being made wherever appopriate. -CaseyI don't have much hope that anything will change, in view of the length of this issue.
If Australia Post is serious about addressing this issue, they should talk to their delivery personnel. They ar...

On three separate occasions, delivery drivers have not been wearing their masks correctly.
1) Nose uncovered
2) Nose and mouth uncovered
3) Nose uncovered
This is just not good enough. This has been reported but I doubt anything has been done.
Hi Kay Jay,
I know this raises concerns for your and others safety, it's disappointing that the drivers haven't been wearing their masks properly. I can only think that delivering parcels is a lot o...
Read moref physical work and it may accidentally move around on their face, it definitely does on my face. I know this isn't a good enough excuse and I'm glad it's been reported so we can pass it onto the driver as safety is our top priority. Can you share the reference number for when you reported it so I can make sure it was passed on?You are right in that it's not a good enough excuse. A mask that moves around to the point of not being on someone's face at all, is just a lack of care. The reference number(s) are 36224607 & 36056845.
Thanks, due to the high volumes of online enquiries we haven't actioned these yet but I'm happy to do it for you today. Can you please just send me a private message with your full name and I'll get t...

Most of my experiences with Australia Post have generally been good but unfortunately there's one post office I seem to be having repetitive disorganised service from. I get emails through the Aus Post app to say my parcels have arrived and awaiting collection, yet when go to the St Leonards post office, my parcels are no-where to be found. Huge waste of my time and I think Australia Post should make it up to me by personally delivering these misplaced parcels to me when they're found rather than making me have to go back and line up again. Its poor form.
Hi Julie
Considering the current climate, it's really concerning that we are asking you to come to the post shop to collect your parcel and once you are there we can't find your parcel! Do you have...

I had a delivery for a blender and the delivery person gave less than a 5 sec ring on the intercom. Was in my bed, jumped up and went to answer the intercom, the ring ended before I reached the door. Had to pick it up but the goods arrived safely.
Hi Xeronos,
The driver should be waiting at your front door for a total of 45 seconds so they can ring, write out the card and ring again. I'd like to help you pass on feedback about this to your lo...

Always seem to be long delays. Covid has well and truly died now and you would think the business would have enough knowledge by now on how to execute scenario planning regardless. They don't even bother with excuses anymore. It just seems to sit at 'received for processing for days before moving to the next state for yet more (eventual) processing. The so-called on time (7 days) gets changed to just say 'updated' with an extra week added on and no further information. Surely there is a more efficient way to manage the postal service by now. Why do Aus Post execs get so much for doing so little. So much wastage ...
The info shows Incorrectly sorted and forwarder to correct location. Actually, it arrived at the post office 3km away from my house last night and is now being sent back to the city (about 52km away). This means it will arrive with a delay of at least three days. Can I trouble you to make sure it doesn't get sent to further? No. AMQ575008301000935001

Hey there,
I'm really sorry that this has happened, I can imagine how frustrating it must be to see something important to you left in an unsafe location. I'm really glad to hear that the packaging was sufficient and neither were damaged though....
Read more If a parcel doesn't require a signature, our drivers and posties are able to leave the parcel somewhere at your address, but that does need to be a safe location where it can't be seen by passers by or damaged by the weather. As it sounds like that hasn't happened with either parcel, I'd like to send some feedback through to ensure this doesn't happen again. I'll need some more information from you to be able to do so, so keep an eye out for a message from me. - Cat
