Dishonesty and failed delivery
A large delivery of 27 stunning plant life was posted on 25th August and delivered late this afternoon dead. No care or responses to myself and and the sender was not given any feedback until end of last week. No care at all for plant life, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.
The public were told late deliveries due to loads of online shopping is incorrect. Be honest like everyone else and say "1 staff member at the distribution centre got covid hence 500 staff isolated. Simple as that!! I was well informed by a reputable Australian business. You did so w...ell during covid the last 18mths disappointed that you lied to the public. And all my plants arrived dead today $254.00! How can I trust Australia Post for plant delivery after this. Chain reaction ...I am left with 13 bags of soil, 40 x bamboo stakes, a large wooden trellis and 3 bags of mulch with no plants...so disappointed that plant life is not a priority to you. Such a waste. Needs to be a better system for delicate items like Plant Life.
Prices have increased. Service has decreased
Recent parcel deliveries have taken weeks to arrive . I gift purchased for a birthday and posted by the firm three weeks before the date didn’t arrive until a week later. The assistants at the local PO are delightful as is the delivery person but there is something wrong at the heart of Australia Post .it should not take a week for a card to be delivered from Canberra to Sydney, and don’t waste your money on Express post. It’s a joke. If it hadn’t been for the civility of the staff we meet face to face I would have given it no stars .
Purchased two car seats from a Sydney store for Sydney delivery so packages only needed to travel less than 30km. Lockdown LGA so no ability to pick up myself. The two car seats are worth $1,000 and now have not moved from Sydney South West facility for almost three weeks.
I lodged an enquiry and hear nothing back, lodged one with sender who have been lovely but advised they need to give Aus Post 10 days to respond!
Reached out to Aus Post on Facebook messenger advising I need the car seat as I’m due to give birth and cannot bring the baby hom...
Maybe the Aust Post could focus less on their inflated wages and profits and a little more on the "service" side.
Tracking was telling in almost all cases that the package had been delivered. It wasn't, untill 2 or 3 days later. Even the sender had been told it was delivered.
Slow lazy post and don’t care
Order something from Melbourne to Canberra and 13 days later still in Melbourne after making a enquire on where it is at 10 days and now their saying 5 to 8 more days and blame Covid JOKERS I ordered something from Cyprus on Sunday and it was here on Friday that’s good postal service Austpost take your money but can’t deliver even if you pay for express still takes 2-3 days why who knows poor!!!!
The worst service in AUSTRALIA
My order has had no updates since being taken to Australia post depot at Villawood at 7:45am on September 3rd by sender. That's 7 days later and package has not moved for a whole week. That's not normal and it's literally going across Sydney, so Covid will not be an issue as it's not crossing states, cities, nothing.
They tracking info is sad, depressing I should say. AlI know is they accepted the package at Villawood and then nothing after that. My package is just sitting at Australia post depot waiting to be sent for over a week? You realis...e you're a courier not a warehouse right? Then the support just makes you feel worse again, all they do is lodge your request and then that's it. How about someone look at the issue and fricking do something! Like why would it not move for a whole week? Is a parcel post stealing my stuff? Would parcel post even know lol? Sound like a free for all over there and I seriously am not dealing with them anymore. Going forward I will not purchase if a merchant wants to use parcel post as courier. This is the last time I lose my ish with PP, I'm not waiting another time to find out they lost my package. To then get a pathetic $50 back from them as a repayment on losing my package. $50 back for something I paid over $300 on, you must think I'm stupid to fall for that crap. This time I'm doing a charge back on my credit card. If merchants like Nike will only use this service, without the option for buyer to get extra insurance, and then parcel post loses my high value order, I'm charging back.

I have been waiting for weeks for a parcel to arrive from interstate it’s still not here I sent an inquiry to Auspost to ask when will it arrive or to at least update the tracking so I can see where it is Well they are so incompetent they can’t even get that right. For an item to be in transit for 6 days Brisbane to Sydney they must be sending it on a push bike
'In Transit' for 12 days?!?
Package sat in Sydney for two weeks, then was 'in transit' between Sydney and Melbourne for 12 days. Once it finally arrived in Melbourne it took another week for it to travel 40km. More than a month for a package to be sent from Melbourne to Sydney? Even with covid that inexcusable.
Astonishingly Poor Service, ridiculous shell of a company that was once a public sector jewel.
Multiple domestic postage items taking weeks for processing, Aus Post blames covid at every turn yet private couriers haven't let our business down and have managed to maintain reasonable turnaround times. Australia Post consistently shows extraordinary processing delays. Remember when everyone loved the postman? Not anymore, Aussie Post aren't even a ghost of the once-great service they provided. Avoid them if and when you can.
I have been waiting for a package that is supposed to arrive between 25-27 Aug. I had lodge inquires form but nothing resolves no reply at all. It's been delayed for 2 weeks now.
It contains baby products for my baby that will be due in 2 weeks.

Excuses are no longer valid!
For two years we have been adjusting to life with COVID 19, for two years we have been listening to Australia Post advising that they are employing more people, more vans on the road etc etc.
Now two years later we are still given the same old excuses as to their incompetent sub standard service!
The fact is, Australia Post were in meltdown before the virus arrived, they couldn't manage then and they still can't!
Except back then they could be contacted, now, impossible to phone, unable to post on their facebook page as they have blocked new...posts, takes days to reply to facebook messages and don't answer emails. Having said all that, if you do happen to speak to a staffer, they will give you the sad story about covid all over again. Parcels of mine have been stuck on pending for over a week, the seller tells me Aust Post have them, who do I believe as I can't contact Aust Post, Other parcels state They are ON the Way, on the way to where is the question, seems they travel all over Australia for weeks before being delivered.
Auspost has held onto my parcel for almost 2 weeks. No updates at all provided and trying to reach out to their almost non existent customer service. Just deliver my damn parcel and if u can’t do the job u get paid for outsource u morons

I have several parcels in the system. They are either not moving or going around in circles as though they are lost. You can’t even make sense of the tracking. It’s so vague…it’s “ going to” somewhere like “ Sydney”. Where exactly in Sydney is it? They blame the pandemic. They’ve had since March 2000 to get this sorted. They make huge profits out of parcel delivery. Why don’t they spend some of these profits expanding to cater for the increased volumes? I got a parcel sent by Toll today…it took 2 days. They also now have restricted who can post comments on their Facebook page. The government should step in and do something about this shambles.
Waiting for 6 parcels since August, they are added in the tracking app and the status hasn’t been changed for weeks. Sent them emails but got replies which solved nothing. I don’t know who I can escalate the issue now. Contacted the seller too but I know they can’t do much because Auspost is holding people’s assets. I want to empathize because of covid and shortstaff, but I can’t be that patient no more.

It took 2 weeks to send a parcel and one of the items is still not delivered which is almost crossed 3 weeks now. I complained about it and got a response after 2-3 days that ask the sender to talk to them. I mean , why cant they just tell why there are delays? It is absolutely pathetic and disgraceful service. In covid times their business have roared but the services is a big 0. Would never ever send anything via australia post !

My parcel was shipped out on 24/8. It's been a month. The delivery date has been adjusted 3 times and still noone will investigate until it's '5 days late'. It's already 3 weeks late.
I don't even know where it is. They just stopped updating on 5/9. Where is my parcel and when will I get it?!
So now apparently they attempted and failed to deliver, and yet it wasn't sent to a post office?! What's going on?
My parcel has been sitting on “We’ve got it” *received and ready for processing* since Wednesday 8th September.
I am nervously waiting as it contains a gift. My friend however ordered the same day and hers got delivered on Friday.

That’s is a item from China that turned up quicker then one from Melbourne that is still not here 2weeks later still waiting answer the question before you ask my question that is not relevant to the review
