Shocking delay ! Auto generated response poor customer care .. extremely disappointed ... Bottom line they don't care .
Ordered a product one hour away . Still waiting . Customer service are just robots saying the same line . You open an enquire they do not respond . Extremely pathetic . Would not use them again for a long time
You will get the parcel eventually
At the moment the post is so slow that I expect to wait for Metro Brisbane deliveries to take at least 3 weeks. If the parcel arrives before that it’s a bonus. The Aust Post Couriers have always been really pleasant and handle the packages with care. On a side note I have been getting deliveries from London via Fed Express that take less than a week.

The worst mail service in the world right now
Deplorable. My envelope sized parcel has sat in Melbourne for the past 15 days.... The catch... I live in Melbourne! And now they tell me to wait another 15 days before I need to worry.... This is unacceptable.

No it didn’t arrive on time and tracking is useless if it’s just sitting in a warehouse if there so understaffed hire more people you incompetent bunch of idiots all in all auspost is the worse company in Australia

Ordered a package 4 weeks ago, date got delayed until finally got a message from aus post to put a enquiry in as it is taking too long, only to put the enquiry in and then say they won't investigate. Worst company in Australia by a long way. Only getting 1 star because there is no 0 option. 1 star is extremely generous.
Slow. Frustrating. Lazy. DHL is a space ship in comparison with this miserable and ineffective company. I won't use any online business using this pathetic company. I would stay clear of Australia Post.
Any courier service other than Australia Post is the way to go in 2021
TLDR: Avoid Australia Post Standard Delivery in 2021. Pick a small/private courier for the year.
I’ve had two packages shipped via Australia Post with extensive delays. I have received the typical feedback and investigation response that due to COVID they expect large delays. Note I had to follow this up otherwise per the tracking it was “on time”. Jokes on me, as Australia Post just kept adjusting the expected end date to maintain the “on time” status.
I understand and acknowledge that companies small through to large have been hit with CO...VID, but this is the new operating environment. Australia Post boasts about record revenue and has not hired more staff or had a plan in place during a crisis (regardless if it’s a pandemic, it could be a natural disaster) to manage the essential service. It’s really poor from management to reach this point. If you are reading this, boycot Australia Post and pick a local courier until Australia Post gets their delivery sorted. The delays will last well into next year. Always ask the seller if they have other courier options. I have used Amazon for shopping and their use of private/small courier is proof delivery can work within the timeframes.
Almost a month and still no word on my package
Aus post keep changing the delivery date. I've waited almost a month and my package has been sitting in the same place for days since the last update. I demand a refund on delivery.
Terribly late and horrible communication
Multiple items are late and simply marked "delayed- waiting to be processed for delivery" .
As of 12/10/2021:
One package left China on the 8/09/2021 and got to Australia on the 20/09/2021......it has still not been delivered and Australia Post will not respond to enquiries.
Another package was scanned in a suburb 15 minutes drive from my house on 22/09/2021 and is still not here.
Another "in transit" to my local PO on 3/10/2021 no update since except "delayed" and no reply from Aus Post.
Payed for Express post on an item last month and it took...
3 wks late and still counting! .
Ordered an item from Queensland which was posted to Melbourne within a couple of days but parcel has been moved around Melbourne for the past few weeks and still hasn't been delivered. What a pathetic service.
What has happened to this once great service?
I cannot understand what has happened to Australia Post. It wasn't long ago that I was willing to pay extra for their service, it is now the exact opposite of this.
Perhaps a business of constantly rewarding the CEO with my yearly salary each week combined with redundancies and a reliance on blaming COVID 19 for everything has finally taken its toll.
On the point of the current COVID restrictions, can someone explain how Toll Express managed to get my coffee pods from Queensland to Adelaide in 3 days, yes 3 days. Surely the same issues related ...
Severely late, terrible customer service, and unreliable. Covid excuses that reduce workers that resulted to traffic. So why not hire vaccinated temporary workers to sort the congestion. We paid for the service. More parcels means more income but they are not willing to spend those income to provide the service they promised? It means they prioritise profit over service. We need more parcel competitors.
To add up the box was broken and damaged. Good thing the items inside is secured by bubble wraps.
I could have crawled to the warehouse and back in shorter time
In the past 18 months, I had a few other parcels delivered to me within Australia (things that I have bought online). Most of them took incredulous long time to arrive!
For example, a parcel delivered from a warehouse 30km away took 8 days to arrive! I could have walked there and back in 2 days!
Surely they could slash their CEO and executives pays and hire more workers instead!

If only I can give them 0 star, this is just the worst delivery company which only based on giving promise to customer and didn't even take action what so ever, had to call them several times just to arrange a new redelivery which they promise to escalate this matter to resolution team and wait to hear back from them within 24 hours which just total crap and at the end they authorised a return back to sender because they just want to take shortcut without providing me any information and I had to call back to ask customer service what the hell happened. I never had any issues with delivery company before but this is just the worst of everything.
Australia post is an absolute Disgrace, I can get a parcel from china twice over before I get one from Melbourne. But what would you expect from go.vernment Cant even keep up your tracking
