I have just received the four cartons ordered from local winery, delivered on a 38 degree day in a standard van, no temperature control for goods being delivered.
I was home fortunately , otherwise the cartons could have spent more time outside on this 38 degree day.
Worst still the Tracking (and driver) confirm the parcels have been in the van circulating Adelaide since 9.30 am this morning when he left the Wingfield depot.
The driver noted there is no air conditioning at the depot either.

Received a delivery, opened it up and even though it was well packaged and secure, the delicate items were smashed into a million pieces. It looked like it had been dropped from a high height or someone had jumped on it. Aus post took 0 responsibility. No duty of care. And refused to even respond when requesting investigation.
Drivers do not read package instruction for delivery and sent to post for collection
Drivers do not read instruction on package and do not attempt to deliver and directly send to nearest Post for collection. It happened few times and it is really disappointing. There is instruction on package to deliver during opening hours but there is no any card for missed delivery that means they did not came for delivery and send direct to post for collection.
Disappointed and shocking
I totally understand the delay due to covid and I feel like they’re just making excuses I bought something from QLD and the company uses sendle service and it took them only 3 days to get here during covid and it’s not even express same with other services slight delays but not as much as aus post my item has been sitting at the Melbourne warehouse for over 2 weeks? If you are busy please hire more people.. create more jobs stop making excuses.. are post services are being hit by covid too but they’re able to make their customers happy by hiring more people and work harder meanwhile aus post is just out here making excuses..
10 days to deliver a small parcel a half hour car drive
Small parcel Posted Ipswich going to Mount Cotton and half hour drive by car. Was posted Wednesday arrived the following Friday!! Next time I will use a courier.

Worst postage service I have ever used! They were bad before the whole virus and now they are just horrendous. These stupid lazy idiots working there can barely deliver a package within timeframe IF THEY DON’T LOSE IT. They can’t even get a package from within the same state delivered in under 5 DAYS. I beg of you to use DHL or FedEx.

Absolutely useless service. Constantly sending my parcels to the wrong address. They can't comprehend that there is more than 1 street with the same name. When putting in an investigation they automatically close it because item is scanned as delivered even though it was scanned in at the wrong suburb. what a joke. Have lost so many parcels and so much money!! refuse to compensate. dont use this company! even with a tracking they dont care.
Pathetic customer service
Order something online within the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne 4 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. Tracking shows the parcel moving between four different depots every week. I raised tickets for investigation, no one responds. Phoned customer service help line which are totally useless and dont do anything. They are using COVID as an excuse, but why move parcels between depots? Customer service people can still work from home to answer queries. It is pathetic customer service

Your people deliver to wrong address multiple time. One hour on hole then they just disconnected me. We pay a lot for postage and the services are the worst nothing is worse then Australian post not even corona virus is as bad a aus post shame on aus post your not Australian I hate you soo frickin much

The item took almost 2 weeks from Sydney to Cairns and this is the way it was received!
Every single parcel is unacceptably late. Weeks overdue. AusPost staff CANNOT EVEN FIND parcels that are weeks late. To get a parcel delivered from an hour away takes over a month. These people are useless.
Useless tracking and takes FOREVER:-(
As a receiver of a parcel with $2k of cycling gear, I expected it might take a bit longer to get from Gold Coast To Adelaide. But it took 3 1/2 Weeks, with only tracking that it was received. Lodged a customer enquiry only to have a single call over next 14 days to say “we are trying to locate it”. Still no further contact.
Then it showed up, with water damage on box, but their tracking still shows it “somewhere “ !!!
Getting worse every day
I understand post is delayed with COVID-19, but when I can get a parcel from the USA in 4 days but can not seem to get Australia Post to keep a parcel in the correct state, it is hard not to judge the inefficiency of our national postal service. On 24 August, Australia Post was handed a parcel in Mt Gambier. This parcel made it to Qld on 30 August into the Redbank facility, which is only a few minutes from its final destination. It sat there awaiting Auspost to complete the last part of the journey, however I discovered today that the parcel ha...s now been sent to Sydney. Why? Essentially, it is because Auspost are a national disgrace and have no idea what they are doing. Why have a parcel sitting in the correct state and then forward it back interstate AWAY from its end destination. This is yet again another example of why Auspost will never be competitive again. Edit: the parcel finally arrived and I received a PM from Auspost stating that due to COVID-19 they have delays etc.... Well, the rest of the world has the same issues and many far worse, but they keep mail moving. My opinion of Auspost stands, given that we pay for Express items which take many days to arrive, mail is routinely sitting for days without moving etc.
Small parcel Sydney to Melbourne
Sent parcel Sydney to Melbourne didn’t arrive after over 2 weeks. I could have got it sent from overseas Faster and cheaper. This is not the first time. Once it took 3 weeks to get a parcel from country NSW to Sydney.
I know there are delays on delivery because of covid 19, but to take three weeks for a parcel to be delivered from Melbourne to Melbourne is just ridiculous and very unprofessional, but you can't and shouldn't expect more from Australia post.. God we need another postal service in Australia..
NEVER DELIVERS WHEN IM HOME AND INCAPABLE IF USING INTERCOM
I swear to god, honestly, I am 100% sure they monitor your house to see when youre not home. I've not left my house in 3 weeks and the only time I did was for 2 hrs to go to uni classes and they decide to try deliver it then. it had been "onboard for delivery" for 4 days. Now I have to go to the middle of nowhere to pick up a parcel these people are incompetent in delivering. not to mention they never ring the intercom when I have been home even though I TAPED INSTRUCTIONS ON INTERCOM USE BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE TOO LAZY AND THEN COMPLETELY IGNORE IT ONLY TO PUT THE DELIVERY NOTE IN THE LETTER BOX THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE TAPED TO. It'd be quicker to fly to America and get the myself since I have to pick it up anyway.
Lost Items, Slow Response & No Location Record for Delivery
The delivery address I provided is my registered parcel locker. However, my parcel has been delivered to a wrong place and physically signed by someone. I contacted customer service, but the representative could not even provide any location records for the delivery. That is ridiculous.
Great pricing on Australia-wide satchels... regular damaged or missing products and late delivery!!
We have loved the change to flat rate 5kg satchels, however has a spate of missing satchels (wrong address), stolen (from the post office), damaged satchels (broken products), and terrible service to rectify the issues, and inconsistency with how the damaged goods were financially remunerated (retail price vs wholesale). Not clear policies or procedures, nothing in writing

It's normal not to see any scans whilst your parcel is moving across the country and you may not see another scan until it's in WA at the next sorting facility. Your parcel is estimated to arrive within eight business days so please allow until the 3rd December.

This one should have already started now and was estimated to arrive today but can't see any further scans since it was sent. Parcels between these postcodes should take up to four business days however it's no secret that there are delays in our network these days so I recommend allowing until Monday and if the scans don't update we can start an investigation for you.
