Disappointed and shocking
I totally understand the delay due to covid and I feel like they’re just making excuses I bought something from QLD and the company uses sendle service and it took them only 3 days to get here during covid and it’s not even express same with other services slight delays but not as much as aus post my item has been sitting at the Melbourne warehouse for over 2 weeks? If you are busy please hire more people.. create more jobs stop making excuses.. are post services are being hit by covid too but they’re able to make their customers happy by hiring more people and work harder meanwhile aus post is just out here making excuses..
10 days to deliver a small parcel a half hour car drive
Small parcel Posted Ipswich going to Mount Cotton and half hour drive by car. Was posted Wednesday arrived the following Friday!! Next time I will use a courier.
Will never use Australia Post again!!
How much was the CEO’s bonus?????
Go figure they have one job to do, pick up and deliver mail and parcels and they do it so poorly!!
Remember the good old days when post a letter or small parcel posted by 6pm and guaranteed delivery next day??? What happened??
waste time and money I would not recommend to anyone
the package from sydney to adelaide did't come, I'm waiting 4 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sent a parcel to Europe that did not arrive after 4 months
waste time and money I would not recommend to anyone!!!!
Pathetic customer service
Order something online within the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne 4 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. Tracking shows the parcel moving between four different depots every week. I raised tickets for investigation, no one responds. Phoned customer service help line which are totally useless and dont do anything. They are using COVID as an excuse, but why move parcels between depots? Customer service people can still work from home to answer queries. It is pathetic customer service
Useless tracking and takes FOREVER:-(
As a receiver of a parcel with $2k of cycling gear, I expected it might take a bit longer to get from Gold Coast To Adelaide. But it took 3 1/2 Weeks, with only tracking that it was received. Lodged a customer enquiry only to have a single call over next 14 days to say “we are trying to locate it”. Still no further contact.
Then it showed up, with water damage on box, but their tracking still shows it “somewhere “ !!!
Small parcel Sydney to Melbourne
Sent parcel Sydney to Melbourne didn’t arrive after over 2 weeks. I could have got it sent from overseas Faster and cheaper. This is not the first time. Once it took 3 weeks to get a parcel from country NSW to Sydney.
I know there are delays on delivery because of covid 19, but to take three weeks for a parcel to be delivered from Melbourne to Melbourne is just ridiculous and very unprofessional, but you can't and shouldn't expect more from Australia post.. God we need another postal service in Australia..
They somehow got worse.
I'm not even mad anymore, it's impressive how one of the most inept organisations in the world can find the time and energy to double down on offering even worse, spottier and lazier service than ever before.
Just the absolute worst
Slow pickups, slow deliveries, bad tracking, negligent packing handling and the rest.
Want to wait 4 days to have something delivered less than 5km? Don't you worry, Auspost has got your back!
Delivery Very Slow
Article posted on May 1st - delivered 280 kms away on the 18th May. Tracking update originally stated delivery would be between 4th - 7th May then updated to "delayed " then a message stating delayed post is usually delivered between 1 - 3 business days after original estimated time of delivery. Posted in an Australia Post "tough bag" and arrived with a rip in it.
terrible service, extremely rude delivery driver
The delivery driver is extremely rude, the first time he drove in to my garage and parked his van inside! so I lodged a complaint to Australia post. Today, he delivered one of my parcel to my NEIGHBOUR, I'm not sure if he can't read the street number on the parcel or is this a deliberate revenge for my last complaint. My neighbour is an elderly man and he didn't know what is going on, it took us a long time to figure out what happened. when I checked my security camera, everything was clear.
Australia Post needs to be privatised so it can be held accountable
Ordered a $650 Lego set from Toys R Us on the 30th of March for a birthday on the 4th of April. Vendor said it would definitely arrive by the 2nd of April.
Parcel dispatched from Dandenong on the 30th of March however parcel did not arrive by the 2nd of April. Parcel did not arrive by the 6th of April. Parcel did not arrive by the 9th of April. Parcel did not even arrive by the 14th of April.
The parcel arrived on the 16th of April after it had been sent to Queensland where it sat for 2 weeks. Australia Post wouldn't tell me why as I didn't own...
This is the second time we’ve sent birthday packages for grandchildren that have taken incredibly long periods for delivery from Coffs Harbour to suburban Brisbane. More than 3 weeks is amazing.
We accept that things are difficult at this time due to Coronavirus but have the comparative benefit of having purchased stuff on line from Brisbane last Sunday, delivered to our home at 6:30am Tuesday.
Very disappointed in Auspost
Poor Quality Service
Received two notifications from Australia Post. First to tell me it was being delivered today, 19th March 2020. 30 minutes later was sent another notification to tell me the delivery was not happening. Obviously Australia Post don't know whether they can deliver a parcel or not. As for their links in text messages they don't even work so that is a waste of time.
Useless online tracking
They generalise the tracking and make you try to do the math just to cover themselves. The delivery times vary further than they lead on and complaints they block out
Questions & Answers
I have a parcel that's been stuck on "in transit" for a couple days now that just got updated to "waiting to be processed for delivery. Does this mean that it's no longer stuck in transit, or is it an automated response to being delayed?
Can't help you Damon, sorry. Try waiting for it.
I can see why you'd be confused! Looking at the scans we have it looks like the parcel arrived at the delivery centre on Tuesday, so should have gone out for delivery yesterday. While it will likely go out today, we can open an investigation with the delivery centre to confirm this if you want. Just send us the parcel and tracking details via Facebook PM or give us a call on 13 13 18.
Had No tracking updates since 31st #R539102003103093
Will tracking be updated soon?
Yes, this looks to be coming across to Victoria from WA. We'll see a tracking event once it does reach a facility in Victoria. Parcel's typically take around a week or so to make the journey across so a tracking update may be likely over the weekend or early next week. Please allow a little additional time at the moment though as the lockdown may be affecting some transport and processing in and out of Melbourne.
Hi I ordered a parcel through e bay that was received by Australia Post at 9:12 am on the 16th and the tracking has not updated once since, not even to say that it’s ‘On its way’ my tracking number is R433631013269887006120906
We'd definitely expect further tracking updates well by now. Please let the ebay seller know this hasn't arrived so that they can chase this up with us for you.
Yeah, the seller wasn’t much help, just telling me that it would arrive by Tuesday but without any tracking updates I’m worried
Looks like it's out for delivery today Doug :)
Sorry to hear the seller wasn't too helpful but glad you notified them as this would have allowed for further dispute resolution through eBay were you not to receive the delivery. Glad to see that isn't necessary though and that the parcel is out to you today.
