Abusive drivers
Made a few complaints about parcels not getting delivered to my property with everything being taken straight to the post office for no reason. I was told the driver would change his ways and indeed he did as I watched him throw my next parcel at my house with force!!!
So I proceeded to make another complaint and was told a new driver would be appointed. The new diver knocked on my door today and told me I made a false complaint against ‘his friend’ and was told by his boss to tell me it was impossible to see what I was claiming. So in short I was lying...
Seriously I am fed up and don’t want your company visiting my property anymore. Sick of being harassed by your workers who I am paying to deliver a service they cannot complete.

Hi Casey
The matter has been escalated to the area manager of the delivery facility. The feedback was that the manager didn’t tell the driver to say that comment and it was he said she said situation. ...
Read more I was told they are just going to deliver the parcels from now on without talking to me which is a pretty weak response really and makes me feel a little dismissed really. Just wondering if you can verify for me which driver I am to expect next parcel? The one that throws things at my house or the one that had a go at me? Kind regardsCasey K.Australia Post
Hi Harry,
That is a really disappointing response you've received but I'm glad to hear you did make a full complaint, please keep the case number as a record of this and of the actions that have been taken....
Read more I don't have any of your details so can't answer your question about drivers but whoever is delivering to you should do so politely, safely and appropriately. Please notify us immediately if any issues with either driver continue and be sure to quote the case number from your complaint so that the matter can be escalated further if needed, however we do expect issues like this to be resolved once they have been reported to the area manager.Item is shipped from Melbourne but it needs to be sent to Queensland to be processed and sent back
Biggest joke of a service. My item was purchased online, the warehouse is 30 mins from my place. AusPost send it to Queensland, I assume because they don't care about the environment to then process it for 1 day and send it back down to Melbourne. Absolute disgrace.

This sounds very frustrating and a complete waste of time. Can you please share the tracking number with me? Sometimes we may have to send your parcel to another sorting facility if one has reached capacity, this helps avoid backlogs.

Extremely disappointed
Had couple of my parcel delivery delayed for days and the postman simply dropped a ticket to collect from post office rather than ringing the door bell. Why would you bother to show up in the door steps and not deliver the item, it's beyond me.

AustPost are faking customer signature signed by themselves
In the past month, we had several high valued deliveries and all required signatures. We were waiting at home and sticked note on the door asking to knock the door or using door chime for deliveries. But Austpost postman had simply dropped all parcels at our carport without knocking the door for signature. We could only know parcels had been delivered after received tracking notification.
It looks like that Austpost is encouraging their staff to illegally fake customer signature regardless I had complained to this issue.

The last two parcels I have had sent to me have shown up on tracking as awaiting collection at Wilton GPO. But both times I have never gotten a pick up slip in my mailbox. This have never been a problem before Has the contractor in the area changed. If so it seems they are not doing their job. Both times the parcel was at the GPO so why didn't I get a slip in my mailbox, the box has a lock so it cannot of been stolen. The drivers/contractors around here are not even trying to deliver my stuff. Don't blame COVID-19 for delays or other errors this virus has been around for over a year now and business is booming for all delivery companies. Spend some of the profits on providing the service the customers are paying for.

High cost, super slow delivery
Firstly, waiting 13 days for a parcel sending from VIC to SA ( ridiculous!). Secondly, I’ve been home all day to receive the parcel but the delivery guy just left a collection card without knocking the door. I have to walk to post office collect it myself after4:30pm. Informed this issue to local post office, the lady said : nothing I could do, I’m just a post office officer. (Of course, what can you do?) How could you guys increase postage/ delivery costs every year but unable to provide the basic service?! Disappointed!

Disgraceful Service
Aust Post you are the worst Organisation going. Latest episode was a seller sent a parcel from NSW to me in Hervey Bay QLD, tracking shown it made it to Australia Post Facility in Brisbane, but for some unexplained reason it went all the way back to seller in NSW, eventually seller had Aust Post deliver parcel to its intended destination. Hi Michael,
That's a super disappointing experience you've had, anyone would be very frustrated....

Faster to walk
My last parcel took exactly 186 hours (just over a week) to travel 36km within metro Sydney.
Thats an average parcel speed of 0.2kph.... Walking speed is 4.0kph
The tracking system is useless. it gives no estimated delivery date worse it now gives no idea what city or even what state the parcel is located during the delivery cycle.
Overall terrible service, no wonder so many businesses use courier services these days.

Terrible and careless
Just received a tennis racquet yesterday. Thank goodness my wife was there when the delivery guy arrived. Can not believe companies still use them
As a business, we never use Australia Post. Far too many reasons, but many past issues with deliveries. However some of our suppliers still use them and our deliveries continue to NOT be delivered. We work from a home office. 'We missed you' cards keep being put in letter box forcing us to waste time going to post office to pick up parcels. When picking up the parcel, post office worker even commented saying how she wondered why they didn't j...

What has happened at Auspost
Ordered equipment online from Victoria. Was picked up on 15/10/2020 from supplier and only reached me ( in Brisbane) on 28/10/2020. Response to enquiry was simply - we are very busy. Terrible (Like Keepings off)
I would like to think everyone is doing their best during these times. But cutting deliveries seems to have just made things worse. I watched tracking in a parcel coming less than 25 km. It went to "We've got it" for 2 weeks. Then to "It's in it's way" for another 2 weeks. Then to "it's coming today" for 3 days. It is not a people problem. It is a management problem at Aust Post. Really poor effort.

Hey Paul,
Our website is currently advising most parcels from NSW to WA are arriving within 6 business days but to allow up to 8:
https://auspost.com.au/service-updates/domestic-delivery-updates
Looks like it has arrived at a local delivery facility in Perth today so hopefully you'll see it out for delivery shortly. It does look like it may be going to a business address though and businesses may sometimes have alternative delivery arrangements in place such as diversions to a PO Box or something like that. In these cases, there may be a mail courier service who brings mail to the office so depending on their pick up schedules, delivery time can vary.
If you're not sure what kind of delivery arrangements are in place for this address, I'd recommend speaking with whoever at the business does handle the mail arrangements.
Many thanks for the reply
