What a joke. You lost my item.
I tried multiple times contacting you about my item that is now three weeks late. No tracking update since it was lodged three weeks ago. A week after a lodged an inquiry you asked for more info, I replied within a day then a week later you replied saying you can't find it anywhere and declaring it lost. AND you expected me to contact the seller for more info/refund. Its not their fault, its yours.
How you lose a large box that had two medical moon boots I don't know. Let's hope it eventually gets found or you refund me.
I now have to buy another one but I will be getting a courier to deliver it not AP.
How you still operate like this, even before the virus, I don't know.

terrible service, extremely rude delivery driver
The delivery driver is extremely rude, the first time he drove in to my garage and parked his van inside! so I lodged a complaint to Australia post. Today, he delivered one of my parcel to my NEIGHBOUR, I'm not sure if he can't read the street number on the parcel or is this a deliberate revenge for my last complaint. My neighbour is an elderly man and he didn't know what is going on, it took us a long time to figure out what happened. when I checked my security camera, everything was clear.

Australia Post needs to be privatised so it can be held accountable
Ordered a $650 Lego set from Toys R Us on the 30th of March for a birthday on the 4th of April. Vendor said it would definitely arrive by the 2nd of April.
Parcel dispatched from Dandenong on the 30th of March however parcel did not arrive by the 2nd of April. Parcel did not arrive by the 6th of April. Parcel did not arrive by the 9th of April. Parcel did not even arrive by the 14th of April.
The parcel arrived on the 16th of April after it had been sent to Queensland where it sat for 2 weeks. Australia Post wouldn't tell me why as I didn't own...Read more

I got my Diploma Certificate posted to me. It clearly said DO NOT BEND in on the envelope. And Aus Pos doesn't know what that means. Because they bent and ruined Certificate and didn't offer to replace it when they have clearly damaged it

Woeful service
This is the second time we’ve sent birthday packages for grandchildren that have taken incredibly long periods for delivery from Coffs Harbour to suburban Brisbane. More than 3 weeks is amazing.
We accept that things are difficult at this time due to Coronavirus but have the comparative benefit of having purchased stuff on line from Brisbane last Sunday, delivered to our home at 6:30am Tuesday.
Very disappointed in Auspost

Poor Quality Service
Received two notifications from Australia Post. First to tell me it was being delivered today, 19th March 2020. 30 minutes later was sent another notification to tell me the delivery was not happening. Obviously Australia Post don't know whether they can deliver a parcel or not. As for their links in text messages they don't even work so that is a waste of time.

they makes online shopping so difficult
I am the receiver. My parcel was held at facility in transit redirection five days after the item was sent. Fast enough. I waited for the parcel to arrive fruitlessly for one week. I checked online - it was still held at facility in transit redirection.
I called up. I was advised my parcel was slightly delayed. I asked why? They don't know. I asked when would I receive it? They told me 'over 90% of late item arrive within 3 business days of their due date.'
Well, it has been a week since the due day and the standard answer doesn't solve my problem at all.
I asked again 'so when would I receive it?'
They cannot provide further information.

Delivery Fee charged for NO Service = SCAMMER
We paid extra $10-$20 for home delivery for online purchases, but the service we received is the (usually free of charge) Click & Collect at the post office that is 20 minutes drive from home.
We used to receive collection cards in mailbox if no one was home, but these days they just sent you an email despite making signing off the parcel top of your priority list (that is, waiting at home all day). If you called their customer service for re-delivery, or an explanation, the answer is always "not parking-safe to make the delivery". But was it ...Read more

Dont complain to Austpoost or the will "Delay or lose" your parcel. Item Posted Qld 16th tracking stated cleared in Melb 20th delivery 21st. Then it stated cleared 21st Delivery 22nd, the it stated Cleared 22 in Melb delivery est 23rd , now delayed because I enquired no doubt.. Bris - Melb takes 3 days Melb to less than 20Km away a week + and counting. Auspost clearly goes skeleton crew after Xmas and doesnt care less after then but wants "likes" and positive surveys all the time. Yet another out of touch corporate, unable to use even old technologies like the phone let alone modern computing and tracking properly.

The most disappointing and inconvenient delivery ever.
I normally have no issue with AusPost or it's couriers but I am disappointed with their recent service. A $540 parcel that was supposed to be signed on arrival was left in my building without my signature which was then stolen more than 2 hours after delivery. After a phone call to AusPost - I discovered that somebody had forged my signature on delivery. CCTV in my building provides evidence that nobody signed for the parcel, suggesting that the delivery person may have forged my signature. On top of this, my neighbours parcels were signed for ...Read more
with my name as well. How can all of the parcels before Christmas, belonging to residents of a 7 story building all be signed for with my name? I have made an online complaint in which the AusPost staff member denied the allegations. I have had a phone call in which I was told that "somebody in the building signed for it". I have had no other option but to take the matter to the Police and the Ombudsman. AusPost should be held accountable for their own mistake. They have not been helpful and instead have kept me waiting on hold for ages, denied the allegations and straight up refused to take any responsibility at all.1 comment

Baffling
I've had multiple deliveries this Christmas not be anywhere near their time frames- 2 items taking 16 days to be delivered . One was Sydney to Melbourne and one was Perth to Melbourne. Yet something from overseas can be here quicker? There is a big problem here.
Yesterday I got a delivery of wine that had been in a truck for 12 hrs and was hot so ruined, and am now waiting for 3 more packages that simply say delayed. They are not from areas affected by fires.

Very disappointed with service and lack of information
Package was lodged with post office 26/11 in WA. Online tracking indicated to expect delivery on 5/12. In the meantime other parcels sent later by the same sender arrived. I waited seeing that it's a busy period. I lodged an enquiry on the 14/12. Online tracking indicated that the parcel was onboard for delivery on 17/12. tient but eventually, with a bit of luck, I (or maybe the sender, they are not sure who exactly) will have to seek compensation. Online tracking has not be updated and I have no idea what's going on. The contents are irreplaceable works of art. How something made of cloth can be damaged is beyond me. It will soon be a month since it was sent, well in advance of the Xmas rush. I understand that things can sometimes go wrong but the lack of communication and care is appalling. One of the people I spoke to even said that if I hadn't lodged an enquiry, nothing would have happened. Also, how is it possible that almost all packages that ask for my signature are left on my doormat? I would rate this particular service as no stars but I guess that the system does not allow it. December 21st 2019 Update: 1 kg package delivered empty, contents stolen I am posting this as a new review based on my case below because it is so shocking. I think that everyone should know about this. The horror story of my package (sent on 26/11 and logged as damaged by Australia Post on 17/12 continues). Today I received notification from my local post office that the package was waiting to be collected. I went to pick it up and opened it right there and then because it felt empty (the stamp gave the weight as almost 1 kg). It was completely empty. The post office guy said that he couldn't take it back because I had opened it, even though he saw it himself and was shocked. He gave me a number to call to follow up. I now have to lodge a claim with a corporate post office. The most worrying thing is that the tube was not damaged as claimed days earlier in online tracking. I could see how well one of the ends was taped and I have received packages from this highly professional sender before. There was not the slightest dent on the tube. It was abundantly clear that the tube had been deliberately opened (it would have taken some effort), the tape cut, and the contents stolen (the contents weighed almost 1 kg when sent). This is so egregious, it has left me speechless. These were original artworks on canvas from a remote Aboriginal community that I support who rely on and trust Australia Post. A package that was logged as damaged by Australia Post should never been delivered to me (so I was told by a representative), but in addition, a crime has been committed while the package was entrusted to Australia Post. I think that this is one for the police. Stealing mail is a Commonwealth offence in Australia, and comes with potentially harsh penalties (up to 5 years in prison). If you are caught stealing mail in Australia, you could face a hefty prison sentence or large fines. Australia Post - please explain. One star? How about -5?7 comments

No Parcel arrival - Australia post representative brushes me off
My parcel did not arrive which I needed to service our clients. I was forced to buy retail which was in excess of $1000. Still Do not have parcel. Representative brushes me off and says talk to my supplier. Well my supplier did not loose it. Brushes me off with basically saying we won't compensate you or take responsibly of delivering your product even though we are recieving money to provide the service. I would love to have a business where I can offer a service, get paid and then not provide the services without any repercussions. That's the best business in the world.

with us. We definitely don't want our customers to feel as if we just take their money and run however we do have some procedures we have to follow where it may come off that way. Can you please let me know the tracking number? If an item has been declared lost in transit then we ask the sender to contact us to lodge a claim, we cannot provide a refund to the receiver as it's the sender that paid us to send us so any available compensation goes to them, of course you're out of pocket so you'll need to speak to the sender about what options they have for you as you paid them your money directly. I know it may seem silly but we can't compensate a receiver where money is owed to the sender (if there is compensation available) but regardless you as a customer needs to speak to where you paid your money so you're not out of pocket.Prascilla you write very eloquently but unfortunately it the same outcome as if you didn't write at all.

r? Our tracking does not provide you a live tracking service, but a point to point updates so it can be a few days of no scans whilst it's moving interstate. It could also be that your item is coming from overseas and the sender has used a drop ship company to send this parcel to us, this means that were still waiting for the parcel to arrive in Australia and be handed to us but once it is the tracking will update. If it's past the estimated delivery date and still says pending then we need the sender to contact us and log an investigation though at the busiest time of the year, it could very well be just caught up in a delay. We hit record breaking volume since Black Friday and continuously to break it weekly so it's no doubt we're very busy and last week the bush fires in NSW caused back logs in all areas. The number isR543806017423876. Hi Omar,
Happy to help! I can see this one was sent on the 5th and we estimating delivery for up to eight business days which is today! Again this is only an estimation and seems this one is caught up in a delay. I'm very sorry about this but it seems it may not arrive in time. Are you moving interstate or are you able to get the parcel after it arrives? It should be delivered to you by next Wednesday, or even sooner. The majority of delayed parcels turn up three days after the estimated delivery date. Again, I am sorry for the longer wait but I do hope it arrives soon.
