PO Box customers don’t have parcels held for 30 days as advertised
When a parcel is delivered to our PO Box address at the PO in Glenelg SA, a card is left in the box to pick up the parcel in the post office. The parcel held in the Office has a sticker on it with 3 dates, eg, ‘ CL (card left) 3/7/19, SC (second card) 10/7/19;RTS 17/7/19’. Australia post advertise that parcels are held for 30 days and include this promise on each renewal invoice for $120. As I was writing the Auspost customer service rang me in response to my 3rd formal complaint. The PO said that they must have put the wrong card in the P.O. Box and apologised. They didn’t tell the cus serv officer about the parcel stickers with 14 days. I await their follow up, the cust service officers are always friendly and polite.

Was accused of stealing
Recently I brought my ID and collection notice to my local AP office to collect my missed deliveries. While the staff saw my address on ID did not match the one on the parcels. He gave me a hard time. And he said I could have broken into someone else mailbox and stolen these collection notice, also I just happened to have the exact same name of the supposed victim. I was shocked. On one hand, breaking into others mailbox is a federal crime. And he thought he had the right to accuse me of doing so. Let alone how stupid this sounded. On the other...hand, it is clearly stated on Australia Post website that "You'll need to take suitable ID with you that matches either the name OR the address on the item". OR!!! Also on the page listing all suitable ID, Passport is including (with no address on it). And on the same page, "ID with you that matches either the name OR the address on the item" was stated twice. OR!!!
Aust Post Albury - very poor service
I attended Australia Post, cnr Kiewa/Dean Streets, Albury around 2.30pm this afternoon to have a document certified and a Stat Dec signed. The lady who served me told me my photocopied document (Passport photocopied in colour) wasn't very good and photocopied it again in black and white and charged me 30 cents. She then told me that she couldn't certify the document (I had the original Passport with me) or sign the Stat Dec. She told me that I would have to go to the Solicitors just up the street, the National Bank or the Police Station. It qui...te clearly says in the Stat Dec that an Australia Post employee can sign and they can certainly certify the document as they are a full Post Office. If she wasn't along term employee, fair enough, but I could see other staff there that I know are. I then went to the Lavington Post Office and the lovely lady there processed it all in 3 minutes (even my original colour photocopy was fine). Maybe a little more training is in order for staff at Australia Post Albury and I hope my 30 cents comes in handy for them.
Australia post at Marion road. They hire staff ,don’t give them proper training and customers have to suffer. In my case I have ask for express post for international and she gave me interstate once. As I am not familiar with this services I paid for it and filled the envelope. Once I took envelope to give her to send she said I gave you wrong one and I have to pay again. First envelope was just waste ...They need to speak and understand English properly . She was Chinese ..

Most staff members who work for AusPost understand that good public relations are expected in their workplace. ie To behave in a professional, polite & courteous manner toward their customers. However, there are some people who do not adhere to this practice. My experience at this Post Office was far from good. It's difficult to understand why I was treated so poorly.I was a respectful customer who was just asking for help regarding a purchase I had made. The incident happened on the 23rd day of May 2019 at 4:15pm.This issue is totally unacceptable. Hopefully I can discuss this matter in detail with an AusPost official.

Doncaster Height LPO should be shut down - Disgusted, dishonest and helpless
Too many instances that the customer representatives do not even try to offer help, even worst that the attitudes were extremely poor and aggressive towards customer's questions.
There are numerous instances that the representative will hang up their phones and claim - no help can be offered can just go away!
There are many instances that parcel was sent but later returned back to original sender because they have input the wrong information - But with the same attitude not admitting any fault whatsoever!
We will need another courier company to serve our parcels - Will not pick AUS POST at Doncaster Height LPO for any parcel sending / receiving purely because of these dishonest and helpless people who are working there!
Brighton Post Office Melbourne and Australia Post - Dreadful
In the last 3 years the Brighton Post Office has either not notified me of of a parcel, delivered to the wrong address or lost the parcel even though it has been tracked to their office - In January I got a final notification letter went up to find a sticker over the original one - turns out they had had it for 7 weeks and when asked why they hadn't given me an initial notification tole me 'Oh well, the postperson sometimes can't leave a card', seriously you manage to deliver my bills and the occasional notification. Asked for a review into th...eir procedures to be done to prevent this and got an angry response of 'No'. Today a nice honest lady rang me to say she had been delivered a parcel to her address - when it had my address on it. Disgusting, we need some competition in the market, a government review and some actual actions. Prior to moving to this area I have had similar issues with Australia post including the theft of items from a parcel and then delivery of half the contents. Disgusting.
Can’t guarantee they’ll hold your parcell
Long story short, a parcel they was to be delivered to me was returned to Five Dock post office to be returned to sender. When I was made aware of this I rang Australia post and I was assured the post office would hold my parcel until I could collect it the next day. I visited the post office first thing the next morning only to be told the parcel was not there and they could not locate it. The whole interaction was extremely frustrating as I felt I was being an inconvenience to the staff wanting to know why my parcel was not there after I had ...spent 20 minutes on hold the previous day to confirm I could collect it and enquiring where it was. I live in A different suburb and Five Dock is not my local post office. I had to go out of my way to get there in the first instance. And now I don’t know where my parcel is. Further to above the sender resent the package only to have Australia post send it to their sorting faculty in Alexandria Sydney before resending it back to sender with no explanation. It has been 5 days and the sender hasn’t received it and only lives in Melbourne. Unfortunately you get no direct answers when trying to get an answer from customer service
Info not correct
Website said open til 12 Easter Saturday. Drove all the way there to collect an urgent parcel . Nope closed for Easter. Had gone there earlier on receipt of text message advising of parcels arrival. Told not there!
Get your act together peeps
Auspost didnt contacted me prior to deliver and my heavy monitor was left in the post office!
Auspost didnt contacted me prior to delivery. I already instructed online to leave on a safe place inside the corridor. I dont know if the driver did even reach my address and just left this heavy stuff in the post office! Now I have to collect it and carry myself! SO Where is the service? Can you re-deliver it? Im not gonna order from Centre Com again!
Changed opening times
The Hilton Post Office 6163 has changed hands, most businesses in this area collect their mail on the way to work. The new owner has taken it upon herself to open at 9am now rather than the 8.30 that the previous owners did. It is frustrating, you collect your mail come to work and then get an e-mail after 9am to say that there is mail. Why can't they open at 8.30 for businesses. They are also very disorganised, counter is always messy.
The staff in the post office near my home is sooooo rude. They never smile, so rough on me and did not have any patience to explain. It seems like I made a huge mistake to them but I just want to come there for sending a parcel! What’s wrong with them?!It ruined my morning! At least please use someone younger, I dont want to say that, but most of the younger staff in your office are much nicer !
Passport application seems to be luck of the draw with staff
We thought we would do the online application for our sons passport to save time and be environmentally friendly. Well this is not the case. (form needs printing out anyway).
At Hillarys Post Office different staff members had different views as to what is acceptable. Seems to me that staff need more training. One staff member at Hillarys would not accept our application because she could not see the outline of the signature boxes from our printed out forms. Another staff member said she would accept it. Another member said just to trace the b...
Australia Post telephone staff must be trained in being unhelpful.
Extended wait times on satellite phone are not appreciated ladies.
Nor are your non existent geography knowledge and inability to spell.
Manager at Katherine Post Office- have you ever heard the term customer service? Do you know what it means?
Even the call centre cannot get you to answer your phone.
Thai guy (philippino????) age around 30 working here is so rude n terrible
This Thai guy serving at yr 440 collins st shop apparently has never been through good training!!!!!
I went to collect my parcel and presented him my Asic card ( that is as good as any driver license or passport that comes with my photo and name) and I was about to ask him to ask his manager if there is any issues but he not letting me finished talking ! and he refused to give me my parcel and been so rude!!!! Insisted that I must bring a letter that show my residential address!!!!
When another Chinese lady serving me, no questions asked she...quickly located my parcel and gave it to me. To the management please make sure you properly train your staff!!!!! Cheap and nasty, rude customer officer that supposed to help customers!! This is the worst post office shop I hv visited in Australia!!!!!!! I went to Epping post office at1.10 pm in 10 December 2018 to do an Identity Verification required by the Perth Mint, I would like to buy some silver coins on the Perth mint's website. I waited for about ten minutes when your staff called Medea became available. When I gave her all the documents the Perth mint required to do an ID check, she just took a glance at them and said she cannot help me, go to another counter and wait again.
I waited for another more 20 minutes. During the time, one customer from behind asking me if I am waiting for ...service, but Medea told him that I am a special customer, I need to wait. After a long waiting, another lady in the middle serviced me, no name tag on her uniform, she looked at the documents for a long time, then what happened is, she asked Medea for help, however, the first sentence Medea told her was that my passport is a foreign passport, the lady with no name tag needed to do it again. The no name tag lady refused to do that, and gave my documents back to Medea again, then Medea asked me to go back to her computer once more. At her computer, the first sentence Medea tole me is that, this is not their problem. After this exhausted time, I was very hungry, I saw Mentos candy bars at the counter, the price tag shows 50 cents each, I brought 3 bars to Medea and said I am hungry and I would like to buy some candy to eat. What she told me is, the candy bar is $1 each. I mentioned that the price tag shows 50 cents each, however, what her response is, “we just changed the price”.
Bad service at Melville post office
Have found the staff to be very abrupt and unprofessional on most visits and I would not recommend this outlet. Did not want to refund a 5kg satchel bag as it had a crease on one side after just purchasing and it did not fit my item. Had been advised it was the same size bag as the extra large express bags but were not. Also at Christmas time the lady behind the counter said I could not post my card to UK as I had Australian stamps on the card and I need to use UK stamps??? Untrained staff and would recommend one of the other local Australia Post stores for friendly trouble free package posting.

Hi can you tell me how long it should be until you expect me to receive my parcel - tracking number ET153504935AU, I understand because of the pandemic flights are a bit of a mess but just wondering how much longer it will say Processed by air carrier for :)
We created a long list of items. Printed labels but then a new worker clicked "assign" instead of "despatch"
Now when we try to click despatch it says nothing to be despatched.
