How can complaints be escalated to the highest level? Nearly a month of emails back and forth with no resolution, I would really like to get this matter resolved without having to involve the ombudsman.

Hi Bec, we are disappointed to hear about your negative experience and would like to investigate further. If you haven't already done so, we recommend submitting a complaint, which you can do here: external link . If you would like to provide additional feedback, please email us at communications@fitness.edu.au. Thanks - The AIF Team.

Hi!
Is it possible for foreigners to do one of the AIF courses on Campus? I want to go to Australia within a few months and I am really interested in your courses (I have a C1 level certificate of the English language).
Also, I did some in my homecountry (The Netherlands) like Fitnesstrainer A (equally to cert 1 level). Does my Dutch certifcates count in Australia?

Hi Sam! Here is some important information about our international study options:

- Unfortunately, we cannot assist with any visa applications to enter Australia for study or residence purposes, nor assist to obtain accommodation if you are hoping to study on campus.
- We cannot accept students entering Australia on a student visa, as our organisation is not CRICOS approved.

As such, we can only accept Australian citizens currently residing overseas OR a non-citizen/non-resident who will NOT be entering Australia.

Hi AIF,

Further to your answer about taking 52 weeks to complete if done fully online, can the student speed that up? Thanks.

Hey Matthew! There are certain deadlines to meet with our fully online option, but the student can certainly speed this up. For more info feel free to email us at info@fitness.edu.au :) Thanks!

This is incorrect! It is fraudulently sold as self paced! AIF definition of self paced is completely tasks by deadline, if completed early you have to wait for weeks or even months for the next module! Or pay $300 for them to unlock the next module! Which I did once for my daughter - 3wks after the payment she still didn’t have access!

Hi, what would be the benefit of doing this course through the AIOF over doing a tafe course? To get a cert 3 and 4 in fitness at tafe would take 12 months on campus. But With AIOF it would take 18 weeks?

Why is it quicker through AIOF? am I losing out on education just too fast track a qualification?

Australian Institute of Fitness

Hi Joel, fantastic question. In regards to course duration, the reason we are able to have you graduate in around 18 weeks is that we are an RTO who specialise in health and wellness education. As a result, we can deliver the program all hands-on and interactive; which is why our graduation rates are more than 4x the industry average.

In regards to content, you would definitely not be losing out. We deliver the highest standard in the country and once again being an RTO we have the freedom to add to the content where Tafe, being government regulated, sticks to the minimum standard. As an example, general PT courses do 3hrs of anatomy and physiology whilst we do over 30hrs worth.

We would love to assist you in answering any additional questions you may have and provide you with some pricing and further course information. If you are interested in digging a little deeper - send us an email to info@fitness.edu.au and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We look forward to chatting with you more!

- your email
- your closest campus
- your phone number
We will pass that info onto one of our Fitness Career Gurus in your region who can have a chat to you about the career options and all your other questions.

Hi Oliver! The 6-9pm x 2 classes during the week and the one day on the weekend is the on-campus part time option. You of course also have the option of Blended or Online like you mentioned. Below are the modules for the Online study mode, which does have you coming in for face to face workshops and sending in videos to complete your practical elements of the course.

Module 1
Exercise Professional – 16-week online module, (plus 1 x 2-day face-to-face workshop) training and assessment
consisting of all of the requirements for the 9 UoCs that are entry requirements for the Certificate IV in Fitness
(SIS40215).

Module 2
Personal Trainer – 32-week online module, (plus 2 x 2-day face-to-face workshops) consisting of all of the training
required for the Certificate IV in Fitness (SIS40215).

Module 3
Trainer Experience – 4-week work experience period. During this time, students will seek industry placement, and
complete tasks as directed by their Log Book. The assessment for some of the UoCs of Certificate IV is completed
during this time.
