Personal service and great loan rate

Just refinanced from a big bank to AMB. One single contact throughout the whole process who was super helpful and responsive, available on the phone or email as needed. What a refreshing change after the big bank experience! Actually selected AMB as they had the best home loan rate but very glad we did due to the customer service.

Worst bank I've ever had to deal with and I've banked with each of the big 4

For a bank that claims to be community and ethically focused, the lack of customer service or even care for those who are applying for a savings account or home loan is criminal. I was also astonished of the non existent Cyber Security practice's when managing people personal documents for said applications. Show details

This is in regards to Jess who I spoke to when I called.
I called up firstly to discuss an ATM issue dispute where the money was sucked backed in before I grabbed it. She promptly got the information I required.
However due to her phone manner and professionalism I felt comfortable asking her if there was any option to not allow any online transactions for gambling sites as I am currently having some issues with my gambling habits. She contacted the fraud team straight away to enquire and also listened patiently and I felt she was genuinely understanding of my current situation.
I could not speak highly enough of how she handled my enquires and would like this recognised. Show details

Incredible Credit Specialist Staff!

I applied to AMB for a home loan as a first-home buyer and the process was absolutely fantastic! I had so much help from Faye, one of the credit specialists, who was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She helped me for hours by answering any questions that I had about the process and about the bank until I was ready to apply. I'm so thankful that I gave them a call, as the experience was totally unlike the experience that I had from other banks. They're quick and very patient

Our credit specialist was fantastic from beginning to the end. He was always very prompt when responding to any of our questions and I'm sure during the crazy interest rate rise of 2023 everyone was trying to secure a loan before the rates went up so he must have been very busy but we never felt like he had forgotten us. Help with setting up business term deposits

We wanted to set up a couple of term deposits within our SMSF and needed help from AMB. Our secure email was responded to within hours, our TDs were set up within hours and all done very efficiently, and our display queries were also answered and resolved very quickly. We have been with Credit Unions for over 50 years because of the personal service offered, and our CU has now been taken over by AMB. The personal service aspect has remained. We are VERY happy with the responsive personal service we have received from AMB. Show details
