After reading reviews on here, I was concerned that we would have problems with the delivery of our Samsung fridge. As it turned out, apart from bringing the delivery date forward by three days (without us asking), everything else went really well. I received a text the day before delivery with an approximate time, then a phone call on the morning to say they were 10 minutes away. During the delivery process itself, the two delivery people were courteous and really careful. Overall, it was a positive experience.
I ordered a sofa and an ottoman from a furniture company in Melbourne on Black Friday i.e at the end of November. Was told they had it in stock. After I paid, I was informed there was a delay with it. Their courier company ANC with a call centre in the Philippines informed me that both items would be delivered down stairs on 29.12. I asked them to call me back an hour later so I could organise a friend to get it upstairs for me. They never did. I made a number of calls the next day, dealt with different people in the call centre who had NO IDEA...what to do. When I finally got hold of an Aussie person, they no longer had deliveries on 29.12. She was highly annoyed with me for not wanting to deal with their call centre and offered me 30.12. delivery of both items. They confirmed the delivery yesterday for 2-5pm. Arrived here today at 11.00am! Driver showed up with 2 boxes, assuring me I got both items. Turns out I only got the sofa!!!! Am waiting to hear when they intend to deliver the ottoman before I'll cancel it. This company has terrible customer service and obviously can't handle an influx of orders. I DON'T RECOMMEND it to anyone and WILL make sure I don't deal with any company in the future that uses them for deliveries. Unless you too want this kind of service, I suggest you do the same.
Disappointing driver, head office
Delivery driver didn't watch where he was walking and stood on and broke my sons toy. This was ok, as accidents happen. But ANC head office didn't want to know about it, which was quite disappointing, but tells me everything I need to know about this company, their processes, and their values.
very rude delivery
this was a product purchased from Bunnings and was to be delivered in a week, but the delivery person that did was total out of act and arrogant. was mumbling in Indian which seemed like coursing. Did not want to be there and kept egging the 2nd man who was more willing to help.
in the end he just dumped it in the drive way and left, where I got it move with the help of my son.
this guy should be stripped of his delivery rights and fired from ANC, who I believe are trying to do a good job .
Had 5 deliveries with ANC this year - 1x Ikea and 4x Bunnings - and all were fine. The IKEA blokes were pretty average, but the Bunnings deliveries were all cheerful and helpful. Special shout-out to ... Orion? I think his name is. Lovely guy, a real pleasure to deal with.
Items arrived on time and in good condition, and the drivers took care with unpacking and hand-off.
Tracking is excellent but unfortunately never seems to be available / accessible until I get the text message telling me they are 5 - 10 minutes away, so not really helpful.
Criminal organisations have better conduct
Driver drove car into our property causing significant damage. Driver shirked responsibility and is evading police. ANC is protecting driver and is avoiding responsibility and is refusing to assist. I am left with financial loss of repairing my property and or paying my insurance premium and losing my no claim. Criminals get away with less. Please don’t support such a dishonest company with your custom.
Could not be bothered to install our fridge kept making up excuses then wanted us to sign to say any damage caused (getting it through a door and down one small step) was not their fault. Condescending, lazy and rude. Do not use them, can’t believe JB HI FI use them!!
We only found out that our package had been delivered when we found it in the garden where it had been thrown over the front fence and left to lie firstly in the very hot sun and then in the thunderstorm that blew up. It seemed obvious that the driver hadn't even bothered to park, get out of the van and do a very short walk to our front porch to leave the parcel under cover. I have complained to the business we ordered from and have asked them to never get ANC to deliver things to us again. If I could give ANC less than 1 star I would.
Driver got mad at me
The incompetent driver got mad at me because he couldn't find my front door. At first he was trying to unload stuff at the garage driveway and just leave it there and when I told him that he should drive to my front door instead and unload the items, he got angry at me. lol
When asked why couldn't he come to the front door instead, he said he couldn't find it! Haha There is a huge sign post infront of my building that you can't miss and not a single delivery drivers have ever complained about not finding my front door. I have a feeling he was just too lazy and didn't care. No need to get angry at customer because of your incompetence!
Parcel left on street
Today I was meant to receive a parcel from my pet items provider. When going out to do errands I found the box on the street, leaning towards my door but no one had rang the bell to alert me they were leaving the parcel. Anyone could have passed and taken my box. If the delivery person was in such rush that could not even ring the bell and find out if someone could come to the door to receive the parcel, he/she should have at least put on the inside of the property or even on top of the wall. Terrible service, I dont feel safe knowing that they would be delivering my items, they could be just taken by anyone passing by my street and I would not even know that my parcel had been "delivered". Avoid them.
Driver was rude as carried on to the client as there were stairs at the property. Both Bunnings and ANC advised it was a steep site with 2 stair cases. Terrible service. Took photos in the clients home without permission. Don’t Risk using these guys
Hiring the worst drivers in NSW, guy would not listen to requests to bring items to the door.
Driver named [name removed] refused to bring Ikea items to my door, and he put all the items into the garage when the door was 5 meters away. The door did have a small flight of stairs (less than 10 steps) and he had a intern driver who he bossed around anyway - but refused to deliver items as promised on the ANC website. When I asked [Name Removed] which company he worked for, he blatantly lied and said he worked for IKEA and laughed. There were both boxes and towels, and he put the towels UNDER my boxes, making them oil from the garage fl...oor. He kept insisting that he had authority to leave the items in the garage, when I was point blank in his face telling him he could not put the items in the garage. (I pay the rent so I have authority on where the items can be left). I have had deliveries from Aus Post, Fastway, Amazon, DHL, they are the worst by far.
Amazing lack of service
Purchased 2 fridges from Good Guys paid for upgraded delivery service including additional per step money to deliver upstairs, installation and removal of old fridges. Driver arrived with small bar fridge for downstairs which he left in its carton outside, when I enquiredwhere the other larger fridge was for upstairs he claimed he had no idea and drove off, 5 minutes later he reappears and advises he has the other fridge. Constant complaining from the driver how this was really a 4 man job whilst they, 2 of them delivered the fridge upstairs. ...Whilst installing it they dragged the old fridge across the kitchen floor ruining it. Rang Good Guys immediately who advised they would rectify it ANC contacted me sent someone out to check damage and advised me to get a quote, all going well I thought, submitted the quote and that was the last I heard from anyone, chased it several times with both companies, and was told by ANC that the quote was excessive, and they were getting their own, again heard nothing, constantly asked Good Guys to follow it up, nothing. After several months I lodged with fair trading, and eventually they paid the original quote amount I had submitted ,what an ordeal, NEVER AGAIN, in future the first question I will be asking when I purchase anything that needs delivering is, what delivery company do you use?
Hopeless customer service standards
The above reviews are all valid. I would not have given them any stars either but had to do so in order to leave a review. ANC is a totally hopeless company. They delivered my furniture and whilst unloading the items, scratched my floor tiles. Contacted them on several occasions and no response nothing. Had to go through the furniture store in order to get them responding! Only for them to send out a hopeless representative weeks later, who knows nothing and only to inform me they are not responsible for the scratches. It's pathetic enough that...I had to go through the furniture store to lodge my complaint to ANC, and the manager of the furniture store is nice to assist me with the claims process. I will never use ANC ever again and hope big companies will not use their services either since they have a hopeless customer service department and not a responsible and reliable company!
