ANC Courier service
My experience dealing with ANC Courier Service was very stressful. They failed to deliver my new Miele dishwasher on the appointed day without any explanation or even contact (there has never been an explanation). After 2 further wasted days of extensive calls to Miele and Good Guys (the vendor), a new delivery date was finally arranged. On that day, there was no contact providing delivery details until I rang yet again. This was then one week later. The 2 guys who delivered and installed the machine were polite and efficient. But I would not recommend ANC and wonder why any reputable company continues to use them.
I never have chosen the company by myself.
but the brillant online shop i bought, Pottery Barn Kids, chose this idiotic company for delivery.

I place an order via Pottery Barn on 26 December 2021 for a bed frame. Understandably, everyone was facing delays over Christmas. In line with the advice provided at the order point, I was expecting my bed mid-February 2022.
Firstly, I received a text message from ANC on 20 January 2022 advising my delivery was scheduled on 21 January 2022 between 9am-12pm. I left work on this day to be available to accept delivery. The delivery never arrived and I was not contacted by anyone.
I then made contact via Pottery Barn, who confirmed they would fo...llow up my order on their end. I was told by Pottery Barn that this was a common theme for ANC and lots of their clients complain. Further, I can't understand why anybody is still using this horrible company. No word from Pottery Barn of ANC for some time. It wasn't until I was contacted by ANC around the beginning of March, confirming that delivery was now scheduled for Wednesday 16 March 2022 and that I would receive a text message the day before with a specific time frame. I again arranged to be home on this day. On Thursday 10 March 2022, I received a text message advising delivery will occur on Friday 11 March 2022 between 8am-11am. Given the short notice, my ability to accept delivery was limited. At 8:11am, I received a message saying that delivery was expected in 60 minutes. I left work to accept delivery. I received a phone call whilst I was driving home from Amelia, one of my delivery drivers who was at my home address, I advised that I wasn't far away. By the time I got home, the driver had left. I arrived home at 9:05am.
Pay attention to the other 1-star reviews.
I've never seen such consistency in relation to negative customer experiences on review sites. Everyone is having the same issues with delays and I'm no different.
I ordered a television on the 31st of January. It was initially promised on the 16th of February but this date has been pushed back twice. The first time it was pushed back, it took 3 weeks and two follow-ups with the merchant for another date to be provided. It's just been pushed back another 3 days with no delivery time specified.
I have a feeling that ANC provides a competitive...rate for larger items and is hence the delivery partner for merchants such as Bunnings, West Elm, Samsung, etc. The impact to customer sentiment isn't worth the dollars saved and I'd discourage any reputable company from choosing ANC to deliver. The item still hasn't arrived but I'm holding out hope for next week's indicative delivery date.
The worse experience of my life with ANC delivers
I got a death threat and being rapped by the foreign delivers guys in my own house and I reported to the media and to my local police department this is not acceptable at all !!!!

SamsungAU/ANC - Worst Possible Combination Ever
I am currently facing the exact same issue as every other person posted a review here.
I placed my order (just over $2000 in value) on 02/01/2022 and it was scheduled for delivery on 12/01/2022. When I tracked the delivery to check status, it said "Not Delivered". Under the reason, it read "Not handed over". When I followed up with SamsungAU, I was told that the goods are with the courier (ANC) and I was given a direct contact and a reference number. I ordered a sofa and an ottoman from a furniture company in Melbourne on Black Friday i.e at the end of November. Was told they had it in stock. After I paid, I was informed there was a delay with it. Their courier company ANC with a call centre in the Philippines informed me that both items would be delivered down stairs on 29.12. I asked them to call me back an hour later so I could organise a friend to get it upstairs for me. They never did. I made a number of calls the next day, dealt with different people in the call centre who had NO IDEA...what to do. When I finally got hold of an Aussie person, they no longer had deliveries on 29.12. She was highly annoyed with me for not wanting to deal with their call centre and offered me 30.12. delivery of both items. They confirmed the delivery yesterday for 2-5pm. Arrived here today at 11.00am! Driver showed up with 2 boxes, assuring me I got both items. Turns out I only got the sofa!!!! Am waiting to hear when they intend to deliver the ottoman before I'll cancel it. This company has terrible customer service and obviously can't handle an influx of orders. I DON'T RECOMMEND it to anyone and WILL make sure I don't deal with any company in the future that uses them for deliveries. Unless you too want this kind of service, I suggest you do the same.
Had to demand that they phone the driver and insist he delivers
Bunnings offered delevery between 8-12. I confirmed this morning that delivery would happen by 12noon. It is now 1pm and after being on the phone for an hour I am told the driver is 30-60 min away. They are not particularly concerned that I also have things to do. I asked what would happen if I was not here to accept delivery and asked them to wait 90-120 min for me to get back. I am surprised that Bunnings continues to use such an inefficient uncaring business.
If I could give zero stars I would.
They give a 3 hr delivery window and then call when they are half an hour away but then think it's acceptable to turn up 1.5 hrs after the 30min notice phone call. I dropped everything to drive home from work for this delivery only to be dicked around waiting.
Worst courier service ever
Arrived to deliver outside of specified delivery timeframe (apparently) which was a full 8 & 1/2 hours across the day so nothing unreasonable or unachievable. Then lied and said that the premises was unattended when it definitely wasn't. Wouldn't provide photographic evidence of delivery attempt to the 'unattended premises' either. Worst courier service that i have ever had the mispleasure of dealing with. Avoid them at all cost.
Got address wrong 3 times
My order of pet food went on board 2 days in a row and delivery failed 2 days in a row, no explanation provided. 3rd delivery was delivered to wrong address down the road despite the business name and address clearly written on the label. I had to drive round and pick it up myself, did not trust a 4th attempt. Bad reflection on Pet Circle, ditch these cowboys, guys they are damaging your image.
Terrible. Day 1 did not turn up . 3 days for 2 items
Day 1 ANC did not turn up, after I waited several more hours delivery location locked up. Day 2 delivered half only. Day 3, second part of purchase arrived, after I called ANC. Drivers all courteous.
Australian National Couriers - Unable to track item being delivered. Bad Service
Received a text message at 10:06am advising a delivery to occur today, 2 December. There is no way to track the job number, or to find out what time the delivery will be, even whether morning or afternoon. I tried to call ANC's Melbourne office three times by telephone at different times today. The line was constantly engaged. My delivery is an order from Bunnings Warehouse, who were also unable to provide me with any information as to the likely delivery time! As a result of today's experience, I would not recommend ANC or EVER have a Bunnings order delivered to me at home. All up a disastrous service.
I ordered an outdoor setting to be delivered to my house 5 minutes from the store. I was given a delivery window of 3pm-6pm on Friday. At 6pm i get a message saying the driver is 20 minutes away. 40 minutes later i get a call saying the truck has broken down they think it should be a quick fix and be delivered later that night but they would call me back soon to confirm. Still no big issue for me. 2 hours later i try to call them and the office is closed and the driver wont answer his mobile. I call the shop the next morning pretty annoyed they...call ANC as they have not been notified of issues either. I get a call back from the shop that it should now be delivered before lunch on the same day ( Saturday ). its not 1pm and I called ANC directly to be told the driver is in the city and on the way home he will get a truck and should have it out to me today..... Are you kidding me if you don't deliver the goods when you say you will make sure you do it first thing or at least when you say you will. I feel sorry for the shop I bought from because I will be asking them now to compensate me as i have had a day off work on Friday to accept the delivery as there is no where to leave it if no one is home and now i have had to cancel all my plans for Saturday to wait around.
Unprofessional, disrespectful, complacent
Driver 1 recognised incorrect vehicle for product, did not rebook. Customer Service person on phone - Not willing to assist in any manner. Driver 2 Phoned myself (wrong customer), on mentioning my order his response was "oh" and hung up. No Apology or further information. 1hr later, I had to follow up driver, when told I will not be receiving my delivery. (Was supposed to be on site by midday this day). On notifying my supplier, they made enquiries, then returned my call notifying me delivery will be made within half hour. Sitting at site for 1.../2hr, ANC representative rang to say "it's not being delivered". This has caused 6hrs loss to my business in labour, plus 3 hrs of my own time after hours, plus the 20 phone calls/texts/etc it took to get delivery mid morning the next day. ANC offered NO compensation or apology. NOTE: the attached text message is from the afternoon delivery as the morning delivery did not get recorded. Driver 3 on the next day was the only reason I even give 1 star. Even he was frustrated by the entire scenario.
