Didn't deliver - claimed we weren't home
Bunnings delivery - ANC driver called from their ute and never came to the door. We didn't answer the phone as we were in a meeting for work. Phone call was followed by 3 rude text messages asking if 'we wanted it'. They drove away after waiting 4 mins outside. Our door bell was never rung, the door never knocked on, and the driver didn't both getting out of their ute at any point...and we have all of that on our security footage from our house cameras.
When we called ANC - who left a voice mail message - they claimed he did knock on our door ...and sent a photo from the street of our 'empty' house demonstrating that they tried delivering. When we told them that they didn't get out of their ute, they told us that wasn't true, he knocked on our door. When we told them we have security footage of no one getting out of the ute and it just sitting in the street (not even properly parked) they didn't bother apologising and said he'll reattempt delivery today. Not wanting to waste more time wondering when the delivery would arrive, we called Bunnings customer service, who were EXCEPTIONALLY HELPFUL (shoutout of thanks to the Taylors Lakes store). They told us the driver was returning to the warehouse, but unsure when and that they'll contact us with a revised time but that it won't be today, despite what ANC said. I understand that it's a tough time for delivery drivers, as COVID-19 has totally pushed up demand. But for ANC to actively lie to customers over the phone, I really question why Bunnings bothers to use them (or any company for that matter). I'm ok with people being run off their feet and genuinely trying to do their job, but I'm not ok with companies that lie to customers and do a poor attempt at their job, especially when we consider how many people are out of work right now.

Avoid using this company. I don't know how they are in business. Said they would come on Friday. I took the day off work and called to ask for a delivery window (which they said would be texted the night before- never received). They then tell me it's not coming til Tuesday due to some stuff up on their end. Not very apologetic. Unacceptable that I had to chase them- were they ever going to tell me it's not coming today?
So now I have to take two days off work because this company can't do their job. When I asked how I could make a complaint ...the girl on the phone said I had to complain to West Elm. This is so inefficient. I am not surprised they make rudimentary mistakes if they refuse to take feedback on their service. It's ridiculous. Unfortunately when you order through companies you don't know which courier they are using til you have placed the order. Hopefully all the negative reviews here make some companies think twice and use a better service.
Unprofessional, disrespectful, complacent
Driver 1 recognised incorrect vehicle for product, did not rebook. Customer Service person on phone - Not willing to assist in any manner. Driver 2 Phoned myself (wrong customer), on mentioning my order his response was "oh" and hung up. No Apology or further information. 1hr later, I had to follow up driver, when told I will not be receiving my delivery. (Was supposed to be on site by midday this day). On notifying my supplier, they made enquiries, then returned my call notifying me delivery will be made within half hour. Sitting at site for 1.../2hr, ANC representative rang to say "it's not being delivered". This has caused 6hrs loss to my business in labour, plus 3 hrs of my own time after hours, plus the 20 phone calls/texts/etc it took to get delivery mid morning the next day. ANC offered NO compensation or apology. NOTE: the attached text message is from the afternoon delivery as the morning delivery did not get recorded. Driver 3 on the next day was the only reason I even give 1 star. Even he was frustrated by the entire scenario.

I ordered contactless Ikea delivery of a bookshelf. They called me in the morning, I missed the call and called back. No reply. They then called half an hour; I missed this call and called back straight away numerous times. Finally a email saying as no contact had been made the order was cancelled. This was so unfair as the driver would not answer his mobile; he finally replied to say he was already at home! What an easy way to do you job- call a few buzzes then don’t answer your phone at all at any time
Worst couriers I've come across
Lied to me several times, promised delivery at certain times then cancelled again, ended up getting a refund from supplier, Fridge never got delivered. I bought from another supplier so I didn't have to deal with ANC lies again.
What a disgrace of a delivery company. Complete lack of communication! Every negative review left here is well deserved.
ANC contacted me 7:30pm (90minutes after the delivery window) to explain that my order was not coming today. That their driver had entered a hotspot and had to be quarantined
Driver was rude as carried on to the client as there were stairs at the property. Both Bunnings and ANC advised it was a steep site with 2 stair cases. Terrible service. Took photos in the clients home without permission. Don’t Risk using these guys
Had a very good experience!
We had a washing machine delivered and an old one taken away. The delivery and removal was via a very narrow staircase and tight turn around. The guys turned up on time, took great care of my mums property and were quick and polite. We had an excellent experience. Thank you so much.

Do not use this company - ANC Drivers are lazy and will make any kind of excuse not to complete a delivery. They are extremely disorganized and rude. Avoid at all costs.

We had a delivery scheduled for Monday which never arrived then was rescheduled for Wednesday and the driver thought it was delivered Monday so they want to deliver on Friday. The customer service girl on the phone was so rude and unhelpful. How they are still in business I will never know. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.
Hiring the worst drivers in NSW, guy would not listen to requests to bring items to the door.
Driver named [name removed] refused to bring Ikea items to my door, and he put all the items into the garage when the door was 5 meters away. The door did have a small flight of stairs (less than 10 steps) and he had a intern driver who he bossed around anyway - but refused to deliver items as promised on the ANC website. When I asked [Name Removed] which company he worked for, he blatantly lied and said he worked for IKEA and laughed. There were both boxes and towels, and he put the towels UNDER my boxes, making them oil from the garage fl...oor. He kept insisting that he had authority to leave the items in the garage, when I was point blank in his face telling him he could not put the items in the garage. (I pay the rent so I have authority on where the items can be left). I have had deliveries from Aus Post, Fastway, Amazon, DHL, they are the worst by far.
Amazing lack of service
Purchased 2 fridges from Good Guys paid for upgraded delivery service including additional per step money to deliver upstairs, installation and removal of old fridges. Driver arrived with small bar fridge for downstairs which he left in its carton outside, when I enquiredwhere the other larger fridge was for upstairs he claimed he had no idea and drove off, 5 minutes later he reappears and advises he has the other fridge. Constant complaining from the driver how this was really a 4 man job whilst they, 2 of them delivered the fridge upstairs. ...Whilst installing it they dragged the old fridge across the kitchen floor ruining it. Rang Good Guys immediately who advised they would rectify it ANC contacted me sent someone out to check damage and advised me to get a quote, all going well I thought, submitted the quote and that was the last I heard from anyone, chased it several times with both companies, and was told by ANC that the quote was excessive, and they were getting their own, again heard nothing, constantly asked Good Guys to follow it up, nothing. After several months I lodged with fair trading, and eventually they paid the original quote amount I had submitted ,what an ordeal, NEVER AGAIN, in future the first question I will be asking when I purchase anything that needs delivering is, what delivery company do you use?
The most poor excuse of service I've experienced in a company and a delivery team (driver 7303)
The laziness and rudeness of driver 7303 who does the delivery run from the Good Guys Bankstown Home Centre.
Refusing to complete a job - One that was paid for in full $70. To deliver, install a new washing machine remove the old unit, responding "This is too hard to move and install, this is not my problem."
My brother and I went over the next day to my folks place and completed their job in 10 minutes (What 2 professional delivery guys couldn't do apparently). If I had known how useless they were, I would have done it myself and saved $70. ...I contacted ANC to bring this up, they didn't care. How is a courier company able to get away with hiring such incompetent, lazy drivers, unprofessional staff and providing horrible customer service able to continue running??
Friendly, on time and efficient service. Jebran from Miele was very professional to deal with and very competent. He ensured the appliance was installed correctly, explained its functions and provided very useful advice.
we needed a special phone for an elderly member of our family because his landline had dropped out. I phoned Telstra in the afternoon and by 8.30 pm the courier had arrived and the phone was set-up and ready to go. The courier was so helpful, explaining clearly what we needed to do to use the new phone and setting it up so it was ready for calls.
I would recommend ANC couriers to anyone needing fast and efficient delivery of items.
Just like everyone else says
Very unreliable. I had a dinner table to be delivered, for this I received a message asking for my preferred timing (morning vs afternoon) - I chose morning. On the day of delivery, I called to check for a closer estimate, they told me over the phone that they actually do not guarantee any time frame (so why the hell was I offered a preferred timing?). I was then told that most likely I would get it some time in the afternoon around 4 PM. I stayed all day at home, until I get a call at 6PM, telling me the driver has a big delivery to do, and ha...s done too many hours already (your company should plan better). The option was to get it delivered on Monday, I asked that since you already screwed up my Saturday plans could I get a more specific time on Monday: the answer was no.
Yet to receive a smooth delivery from this hopeless company. EIGHT orders and not ONE has gone right. On this occasion, the driver Dion claimed to have attempted to call me and knock -- absolute untruths. I was in the back of the house. Not one phone call was made to my provided number. And then the customer service reps are rude and unhelpful and speak over the top of you as if YOU are not the one paying for the service. I hate dealing with this company, they are the absolute pits.
UPDATE: Wonders never cease! After a lot of almost-begging and complaining from me, they offered to redeliver very next day, instead of in a week or two which is what usually happens. Thank you!
Do not order anything from IKEA!
Ikea use these muppets. First attempted delivery, looked at our stairs and said they were not going to attempt. Sat in truck for 30 minutes and then drive off without letting us know. Called Ikea and got them to rearrange the delivery with 4 guys for tri 23rd Dec 2019. Two guys arrive and AGAIN refuse to go up the stairs... we have no kitchen and its Christmas in two days. Thanks a lot ikea. Take some responsibility for the drivers you employ and get better delivery drivers. No other retailer has ever refused to deliver up our stairs couches/fridge/bed... no issues. ANC are lazy and IKEA need to do better. Disgusted. MERRY Christmas!!
Damage and Dash...
Received a delivery on Thursday, October 24 - first delivery of anything at our brand new house and the delivery driver took a chuck out of our door frame and didn't say anything. Lodged a complaint and obviously the delivery driver was notified as he turned up to inspect the damage himself at 5 pm on a Sunday, insisted on taking photos and then marched into the house to take a photo of the item he delivered as proof the job was done. Received a call from the actual person who was supposed to inspect the damage the following week, who was surpr...ised to hear the delivery driver took it upon himself to inspect the damage and take photos noting that none of the photos were on file. That was the last we heard from ANC. I have called and emailed multiple times, been told I would be called back and nothing. So disappointing.
Do not use this company.

This company cannot be trusted to deliver when they say they will. They changed my delivery times 6 times over 4 days.
I bought a fridge from The Good Guys as mine had stopped working. Arranged delivery for Saturday 7/12. Had not been advised of a time by 7/12 so called at 11am & was told the fridge would be delivered at 12.30pm. By 2pm no fridge, so I called again. This company is joke, i purchase a TV on a Sat afternoon, I ask for the fastest delivery time, the sales rings ANC and guarantees the following day (Sunday), I get a phone call the following morning wanting to confirm the delivery for Monday, I said mo the delivery was to be here today, I was told someone would ring me back. I get a call an hour later saying they wanted to confirm the delivery for Monday and i told them I already had this conversation, they said oh yes I see that someone will call you within the hour, this was at 12:30 pm and g...uess what no call. I ring JB at 5 pm and told then they apologize, I said I would accept delivery for the next day but being after 4 pm it would have to be Tuesday, I said i can only be available in the morning as we worked, they confirmed with ANC that it was going to be definitely Tuesday morning, I get a text from ANC asking me to call then at 11 am Tuesday, I give them a call and guess what they want to know if someone will be home all day Wednesday. ANC this little incident will bite you on the butt in the very very near future, something you are expecting to be signed will not be GUARANTEED
You're better off using a courier pigeon.
Failed to provide the services as described. If you'd like something delivered in a timely and guaranteed manner, the I'd suggest choosing a courier pigeon over this company.
The ANC delivery driver forgot to pick up my item from the warehouse. When warehouse called the driver, it was "too late" to pick up the order. Their delivery times are business hours on Monday to Friday, and it seems that their drivers don't actually do their job on the weekend.

Would not recommend this company had a delivery from Bunnings on a Friday afternoon no show spoke to Bunnings said thay would deliver on Saturday between 7am to 12 no show arranged for Sunday between 8 and 12 came and 10.30 then told me he was he can not unload in my backyard this is with a crane truck and said he was going to put it out the front not a small delivery didn't want to get his tyres dirty
My delivery (the first with your company) was perfect! The driver called when expected, and gave us an expected arrival time- spot on!! Ali was delightful- shook my hand when he introduced himself, and then we had a quick chat while his off-sider brought in my new fridge. Rarely have I had service like this- I wish Ali all the best in the future. Others could learn from his attitude to a customer.
