Delivery Contractors are absolutely shocking!
Delivery Contractors are the worst. Turned up to our house on Sunday earlier than the specified time on their text message and left because they claimed nobody answered the door. Thankfully Good Guys waived the delivery expense that I would have had to pay again and rescheduled for the next day. Sent a message that same night to let us know that they would deliver fridge between 11.30 - 2.30 so took the day off from work to receive it only to get a phone call telling me that they wouldnt deliver on this day and we would have to reschedule again without any reason why. I wouldnt purchase anything online from the Good Guys ever again because of this company.
Poor delivery and poor communication
Delivery schedule Saturday. They Tried to rebook for Sunday. They called on Sunday to say they dont deliver Sunday to our area. Reflects badly on company management. No communication whatsoever.
Criminal organisations have better conduct
Driver drove car into our property causing significant damage. Driver shirked responsibility and is evading police. ANC is protecting driver and is avoiding responsibility and is refusing to assist. I am left with financial loss of repairing my property and or paying my insurance premium and losing my no claim. Criminals get away with less. Please don’t support such a dishonest company with your custom.
I received a text at 6.30am to advise my delivery from Bunnings was on board for delivery. I began tracking. I sat outside to make sure I'd be handy to open the gate so I could get the driver to put the bags of mulch in the garage as they were too heavy for me. As I usually get a text letting me know delivery is ten minutes away, I wasn't concerned about the delivery taking a while. My phone sent a text and I thought good, delivery coming, only to see that it said 'delivery done' The driver had just dumped it in the driveway and left. The...re were six 50ltr bags of mulch which is way too heavy for me to lift, so I called the mobile number from the text ANC had sent but it said the number was disconnected. In the end Bunnings had to send out two of their men to bring the bags of mulch inside for me. Shocking service from the courier company. Great service from Bunnings though.
Could not be bothered to install our fridge kept making up excuses then wanted us to sign to say any damage caused (getting it through a door and down one small step) was not their fault. Condescending, lazy and rude. Do not use them, can’t believe JB HI FI use them!!
Not good customer service or delivery!
The driver called when out the front of the house. I was home - missed his call. Called straight back - no answer. He left.
Rang the office. Rude. Not good customer service.
Got address wrong 3 times
My order of pet food went on board 2 days in a row and delivery failed 2 days in a row, no explanation provided. 3rd delivery was delivered to wrong address down the road despite the business name and address clearly written on the label. I had to drive round and pick it up myself, did not trust a 4th attempt. Bad reflection on Pet Circle, ditch these cowboys, guys they are damaging your image.
Order never arrived.
Ordered a smoker. Got called, couldn't pick up as i work in a secured environment. Get home, find they "delivered" it and signed off on it themselves. No knock on the door either - had someone available to receive it. Pathetic effort, which reflects poorly on Bunnings, who contracts ANC.
Bunnings, you can do better
I had arranged for my order to be delivered between 8am-7pm(which is a very broad window) and was supposed to get a call from the courier before they delivered, at 6pm when I hadn't received a call I assumed that because it was Sunday maybe the Bunnings lady or I was confused and it would arrive the next day but in my emails I saw that my order had been delivered. As it turns out, it had been, back to Bunnings with no explanation. What a poor reflection on Bunnings
Delivery driver called 5 minutes out which was great, arrived at the house and then drove off without any explanation. We called and messaged with no response. Next avaliable delivery time is 2 weeks away
We only found out that our package had been delivered when we found it in the garden where it had been thrown over the front fence and left to lie firstly in the very hot sun and then in the thunderstorm that blew up. It seemed obvious that the driver hadn't even bothered to park, get out of the van and do a very short walk to our front porch to leave the parcel under cover. I have complained to the business we ordered from and have asked them to never get ANC to deliver things to us again. If I could give ANC less than 1 star I would.
Driver got mad at me
The incompetent driver got mad at me because he couldn't find my front door. At first he was trying to unload stuff at the garage driveway and just leave it there and when I told him that he should drive to my front door instead and unload the items, he got angry at me. lol
When asked why couldn't he come to the front door instead, he said he couldn't find it! Haha There is a huge sign post infront of my building that you can't miss and not a single delivery drivers have ever complained about not finding my front door. I have a feeling he was just too lazy and didn't care. No need to get angry at customer because of your incompetence!
I can see why all the other reviews on here are giving one star, I wish I could give less! It took them 14 days to delivery my order from Pottery Barn (who advertise delivery within 10 days) which they charged a $180 delivery fee for, because it was supposed to include assembly and removal of packaging. I got a text at 8pm last night to say they'd show up between 8am-11am today, which is during my work hours, so I called immediately to try and arrange a later time but received an automated message "you've called outside business hours". I had t...o arrange for someone else to be here to collect the delivery and when I got home there was a huge box just dumped in my kitchen. They didn't bother to do the assembly or remove the packaging (which there is loads off, this photo shows less than half of it). I'm now stuck with an enormous extending dining table in pieces in my kitchen and packaging absolutely everywhere. I don't have the ability to assemble this myself. When I called I was told he can come back but not until next weekend. So I can just have this stay like this for ANOTHER WEEK. I'm beyond furious with this company, absolutely disgraceful service.
Why does Bunnings use such a terrible business?
Sat.delivery arrived with broken timber. Bunnings booked a replacement for the next day(Sunday). Bunnings Manager promised its delivery. Called Bunnings store at 1630 Saturday. It's seems ANC cancelled the delivery AND didn't inform Bunnings. Rebooked for Monday. But the job number sent to me can't be checked as the ANC tracking page is NOT working. Why does Bunnings use such an incompetent business? It just reflects back poorly on Bunnings. Surely Bunnings can afford to spend the dollars on a more reliable courier business. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS EVER!!
Terrible. Day 1 did not turn up . 3 days for 2 items
Day 1 ANC did not turn up, after I waited several more hours delivery location locked up. Day 2 delivered half only. Day 3, second part of purchase arrived, after I called ANC. Drivers all courteous.
Australian National Couriers - Unable to track item being delivered. Bad Service
Received a text message at 10:06am advising a delivery to occur today, 2 December. There is no way to track the job number, or to find out what time the delivery will be, even whether morning or afternoon. I tried to call ANC's Melbourne office three times by telephone at different times today. The line was constantly engaged. My delivery is an order from Bunnings Warehouse, who were also unable to provide me with any information as to the likely delivery time! As a result of today's experience, I would not recommend ANC or EVER have a Bunnings order delivered to me at home. All up a disastrous service.
Appalled by lack of customer service, void of an courtesy. We had parcel scheduled for delivery for special event. The ETA was changed several times. The final time window between 4.50- 6pm after a long wait since 7 am and then NO SHOW. They then sent a notice without discussion of a delivery within 40 minutes the Early morning After and enter unlawfully onto our property to leave the item. To top it off, the entire order was not delivered. No apology. I took the day off which cost me money. Appalling !
one of these drivers dumped a load of rubbish in front of my house after delivering to someone else and then drove off. Disgusting behaviour and I would never recommend this company to anyone
Incredibly lazy and unprofessional staff.
The driver tried to offload the package to anyone in the office building and when was sent up to the address on the package he returned to the lobby and tried to hide the package when approached he said it is "too hard" to go to the tenant because he got off at the wrong floor. When I called their head office to let them know they fobbed it off and said they can't help me.
ANC - never use them again
Terrible service. Confirmed 4 times that our delivery would arrive between 2 and 5 on a Saturday. Called at 5.30 and said it was too late and it would be arriving on Tuesday. I would never use them again or recommend them.
I ordered an outdoor setting to be delivered to my house 5 minutes from the store. I was given a delivery window of 3pm-6pm on Friday. At 6pm i get a message saying the driver is 20 minutes away. 40 minutes later i get a call saying the truck has broken down they think it should be a quick fix and be delivered later that night but they would call me back soon to confirm. Still no big issue for me. 2 hours later i try to call them and the office is closed and the driver wont answer his mobile. I call the shop the next morning pretty annoyed they...call ANC as they have not been notified of issues either. I get a call back from the shop that it should now be delivered before lunch on the same day ( Saturday ). its not 1pm and I called ANC directly to be told the driver is in the city and on the way home he will get a truck and should have it out to me today..... Are you kidding me if you don't deliver the goods when you say you will make sure you do it first thing or at least when you say you will. I feel sorry for the shop I bought from because I will be asking them now to compensate me as i have had a day off work on Friday to accept the delivery as there is no where to leave it if no one is home and now i have had to cancel all my plans for Saturday to wait around.
Parcel left on street
Today I was meant to receive a parcel from my pet items provider. When going out to do errands I found the box on the street, leaning towards my door but no one had rang the bell to alert me they were leaving the parcel. Anyone could have passed and taken my box. If the delivery person was in such rush that could not even ring the bell and find out if someone could come to the door to receive the parcel, he/she should have at least put on the inside of the property or even on top of the wall. Terrible service, I dont feel safe knowing that they would be delivering my items, they could be just taken by anyone passing by my street and I would not even know that my parcel had been "delivered". Avoid them.
Didn't deliver - claimed we weren't home
Bunnings delivery - ANC driver called from their ute and never came to the door. We didn't answer the phone as we were in a meeting for work. Phone call was followed by 3 rude text messages asking if 'we wanted it'. They drove away after waiting 4 mins outside. Our door bell was never rung, the door never knocked on, and the driver didn't both getting out of their ute at any point...and we have all of that on our security footage from our house cameras.
When we called ANC - who left a voice mail message - they claimed he did knock on our door ...and sent a photo from the street of our 'empty' house demonstrating that they tried delivering. When we told them that they didn't get out of their ute, they told us that wasn't true, he knocked on our door. When we told them we have security footage of no one getting out of the ute and it just sitting in the street (not even properly parked) they didn't bother apologising and said he'll reattempt delivery today. Not wanting to waste more time wondering when the delivery would arrive, we called Bunnings customer service, who were EXCEPTIONALLY HELPFUL (shoutout of thanks to the Taylors Lakes store). They told us the driver was returning to the warehouse, but unsure when and that they'll contact us with a revised time but that it won't be today, despite what ANC said. I understand that it's a tough time for delivery drivers, as COVID-19 has totally pushed up demand. But for ANC to actively lie to customers over the phone, I really question why Bunnings bothers to use them (or any company for that matter). I'm ok with people being run off their feet and genuinely trying to do their job, but I'm not ok with companies that lie to customers and do a poor attempt at their job, especially when we consider how many people are out of work right now.

Avoid using this company. I don't know how they are in business. Said they would come on Friday. I took the day off work and called to ask for a delivery window (which they said would be texted the night before- never received). They then tell me it's not coming til Tuesday due to some stuff up on their end. Not very apologetic. Unacceptable that I had to chase them- were they ever going to tell me it's not coming today?
So now I have to take two days off work because this company can't do their job. When I asked how I could make a complaint ...the girl on the phone said I had to complain to West Elm. This is so inefficient. I am not surprised they make rudimentary mistakes if they refuse to take feedback on their service. It's ridiculous. Unfortunately when you order through companies you don't know which courier they are using til you have placed the order. Hopefully all the negative reviews here make some companies think twice and use a better service.
Unprofessional, disrespectful, complacent
Driver 1 recognised incorrect vehicle for product, did not rebook. Customer Service person on phone - Not willing to assist in any manner. Driver 2 Phoned myself (wrong customer), on mentioning my order his response was "oh" and hung up. No Apology or further information. 1hr later, I had to follow up driver, when told I will not be receiving my delivery. (Was supposed to be on site by midday this day). On notifying my supplier, they made enquiries, then returned my call notifying me delivery will be made within half hour. Sitting at site for 1.../2hr, ANC representative rang to say "it's not being delivered". This has caused 6hrs loss to my business in labour, plus 3 hrs of my own time after hours, plus the 20 phone calls/texts/etc it took to get delivery mid morning the next day. ANC offered NO compensation or apology. NOTE: the attached text message is from the afternoon delivery as the morning delivery did not get recorded. Driver 3 on the next day was the only reason I even give 1 star. Even he was frustrated by the entire scenario.
