I purchased the new car warranty on purchasing my used Volvo, 1 year ago.
My turbo hose on the car split and was promptly repaired. Within a day my repair was approved and was paid.
Excellent and friendly and very professional service.

Trouble using bank statements as proof of payment
Took out excess insurance for a hire car over Christmas, glad I did because things went wrong. Uploaded all required documents to the online system. Then I was told the damage report is not there, so I had to upload all photos individually (waste of my time and theirs). I paid by bank transfer because that was the details on the invoice I was sent from the hire company. The claim had to go through orchard administration in the UK.
Orchard did not want to accept my bank statement as proof of payment, saying the name of the company (not just BSB and Acc number as shown on the invoice also provided) needs to be shown. I had to make 2 calls to my bank to try to get the specific details required for the claim sent to me as a letter. Maybe this is an issue with Orchard admin, but if so I won't be choosing another insurance company that uses them either. After I submitted this review and allowed AWN to respond via message, they accepted the claim and the rest went smoothly. Still not happy about the wasted time though. Did not get a phone call or apology.

Bought my Renault Traffic 4 months ago and the dealer offered AWN.Having never dealt with a warranty before the procedure was dealt with quickly and with good feedback.The longest part was trying to get through on the phone in a high demand time,once that was done all was quickly and professionally sorted
Faultless - AGAIN
After buying the extended warranty when i bought my Jeep Cherokee, i was reluctant, however 18 months down the track, i had to use it a second time just before Christmas. All the lights kept flashing on the dash and their preferred repaired had it diagnosed within minutes as a faulty ABS module.
So again, i have been fortunate to have had now two claims settled with AWN and i cant fault their service on either claim.
Easy to Deal With
My daughter bought her first car and was offered AWN insurance which we felt was important to have. Six months later her air-conditioner (middle of summer) packed it in, fortunately AWN covered most of the replacement costs otherwise it would've been a costly expense for a young teenager to outlay. Thanks AWN for the speedy resolution of this insurance claim to get her back on the road again.
One week after i bought my car i had a transmission failure. Luckily the vehicle came with an AWN warranty! The claim was approved quickly and the vehicle was fixed without any troubles. Very glad i had a warranty through this company.

I have recently made a claim for a window motor and actuator on my BF Falcon. AWN covered this completely. The process for me was trouble free. I took the car to an approved repairer. They fixed the car and made the claim which was paid directly to them. For me it was a drop off and pick up experience. Very simple.

My engine blow up on the 28/12/18 and no one's open at that time of year so they towed me home for the holidays and got the car re-towed on the 2nd at no cost to me to get the car fixed

Very fast decision for leaking diesel fuel tank
I've had to call on AWN 3 times in the last year or so. I have an extended new car warranty with AWN. This time I had a leak in the diesel tank. AWN provided quick approval once the mechanic identified the issue - it was a crack in the filler pipe. It needed a genuine part from Hyundai in Sydney. The part was flown up and repair done. The car was with the mechanic for 4 days, but that included waiting 2 days for the part to be delivered. All up the work would have been $550+. Happy with AWN and the work.
Do yourself a favour! AWN offers incredible peace of mind
I took out a mechanical breakdown insurance policy with AWN when I bought a used vehicle 6 months ago. I have unfortunately had to make 2 claims in that time but AWN have been amazing to deal with! They make the claim process extremely easy, they offer extensive repairers Australia wide (even in rural areas) and pay the mechanic directly within 2 hours of an approved claim. They actually want to assist with the cost of repairs and are very reasonable to deal with. They also help cover the costs of towing. The policy is incredible value and offers huge peace of mind when buying a used vehicle. I wouldn’t do without it and have told all my friends and family that they are crazy if they don’t get take out a policy of their own! I was so impressed I switched my accident insurance policy over to AWN as well.
QUICK CLAIM RESOLUTION.
I have had my AWN policy since September 2016. I covers my 2012 Land Rover Discovery 4. In the first 12 months I had several issues with the vehicle which cost me about $8000 and were not covered by the warranty. This week I put my car in for some repairs and was told the water pump was ready to give me grief at any moment. I contacted AWN hoping it was covered and was told to send the quote in and it would be considered. I told the young lady it would be fixed irrespective of their approval as the vehicle was on the hoist as we spoke. My mechanic forwarded a quote and it was approved the same day. Thank you AWN for restoring my faith in your company and I hope for my sake I don't have to claim on you again. That is only because I don't want any more repair bills. This experience has been a good one and I commend you for your polite and prompt service.
These guys are the best, Jaguar & Land Rover could learn off them
I couldn't be more grateful they fixed my broken engine mounts, on my next car I will be using these guys too. Told my friends too that these guys are good, its also the manner they go about it. Even though I can't use official Jaguar dealership they have always looked after me with genuine parts even in a Ftype R 5.0 SC jaguar.

I have been with the insurance company for over 2 years now, I called them the day before Christmas and to be honest didn’t have high expectations. However the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful giving me a number of options, not to mention reminding me about the roadside assistance I have. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with them and the team member I spoke to should be commended on her customer service. My car was even fixed the same day! Well done a pleasure to deal with. I had to make a claim after having the warranty for only 5 months for a cracked cylinder head. The staff are great to talk to and very helpful and the warranty covered $750 for my cylinder head repairs which was a big chunk out of the $3000 I was quoted. Very happy and would recommend.

I have had this warranty for about 2.5 years, not needing to use it until recently and the experience was fast and easy. Unfortunately they did not cover the full cost but covered about 90% of it.
I have held a AWN warranty on my Motorhome for the past 4 years and during this time I have made several claims. I have found found no issues with AWN handling automotive claims however they appear to have issues when understanding interior products claims. The staff after explaining the problem were excellent to deal with but the managers who make the final decisions are afraid speak with customers to explain their rationale for their decisions.
