B1 Homes

Greg was very supportive and easy to talk to. Good support. He explained the initial process in details. There was a miscommunication regarding a meeting but I think we are behind it. This company was recommended by some of my friends so willing to give it a go for our PPOR.

We originally explored options with another builder and found B1 homes were keen to help us and get the ball rolling instantly! Loving the experience so far. It has been so easy with Blake and Adam assuring they’ll be with us the whole way through. Looking forward to our new home.

After spending a significant time looking for an established home with no luck I had almost given up on having a home of my own. However after speaking to Richard Wetterhahn he showed me what was possible. He is highly professional and extremely organised, making the pre-construction phase a breeze. I highly recommend Richard and B1 homes.

After becoming tired of looking for an established property for our first home, and having no luck finding something that ticked all the boxes, we finally decided to switch our attention to building... we sent an inquiry to B1 Homes as well as a couple of other 'big name' builders, and were surprised to be contacted by someone from B1 Homes just a few hours later. We decided to build through B1 homes in 2017, we were drawn in by the sales rep [name removed] who was nothing but amazing and insightful to our ideas and questions. It was only after the next stages where we ran into some problems our prestart consultant lied about several things including the reason of the delay of our build (the consultant told us it was due to the weather and the earthworks company not being able to proceed however the earthworks were being done by my partner and his fathers earthworks company which she must not have realis...

Overall B1 homes were very efficient in completing my home. I am pleased with the customer service provided throughout the build. You get what you pay for per se. Rodney Stone is an asset, he was always reachable for start to finish and thank you Adam Austin for persevering with my financing.

I love my house. I hated building. The process was a nightmare from start to finish and as a first home builder not what I wanted.
Firstly there was the battle for our business between b1 and red ink. Constantly calling and email to reduce the price of the house and add inclusions and bring each other down. - (which is confusing cause they are part of the same company)
[name removed] designed my home and she is amazing. Hands down the best person on the b1 team, untill we signed on and the process started and she moved on to the next clients. ...

My wife and are exceptionally happy that we decided to build with B1. We started the process late November 2017 and started the build around Feb 2018, almost exactly 12 months later we are in our wonderful new home.

I have rated it at 4 Star, would have preferred to have given a 4.5 Star. Our only criticism is with the "Sales" part of the process. We were told a price for the build minus what we thought was our discount from the builder, unbeknown to us the discount had already been allowed for. Advantages:
1. We found that B1 homes offers exceptional designs compared to the average market. The interior design was good with a good use of space and maximum allowed zero lot boundary walls.
2. Harry (marketing) spent so much time explaining the building process and driving us around showing many display properties, which was really appreciated. We did have experience with some other companies where the marketing team wouldn’t even bother getting out of the office.

The final build by B1 was great. We are very happy with our home. Turned out even better than we expected. No issues with the workers on site, they were all professional & fast working. The completed build happened a lot sooner than expected. Extremely happy so far.
However, we did have several major issues with some of the office staff from start to finish.
There was a huge lack of communication & extreme rudeness from the construction office staff when an issue did arise through the build. After this, it would be hard to say if we would use B1 again. Despite this, we did have 2 great team members, [name removed] & [name removed] who were amazing & so helpful!

Our build was awesome as it was handled by the best supervisor in the state of WA. The workmanship was to a high standard, as all the trades were hand picked and you could tell they love their job.
The only issue we had was we had about 3 ladies look after our job during construction and it was hard to get a clear track of what was included and what wasn't during the build. The issues were sorted out straight away in most cases.
We had a different kind of set up with our build as it wasn't just off the plan build. Most of items were supplied by us and we knew our costs from early on at contract signing.
All in all was a pleasant process.
