Not very accommodating for mums with babies
We been shopping at baby bunting and we purchased a baby sleep monitor ,in store price $143 but on line $126
We call them about this it very inconvenient that we have to go back to the store to get refund of $20 especially when you’ve got a new born don’t understand why this can be rectified over the phone plus why wasn’t there a price Match when we purchased this,
When we told them our situation of coming to the store the lady said what would you like me to do, her instructions were we can only refund you from the store
For a baby store your not very accommodating for mums with babies and not very helpful
To say that we are disappointed is an understatement. We purchased multiple items from the Baby Expo back in early May and we are STILL waiting. This is ridiculous. I'm glad this wasn't a life or death situation. The product has been paid off and there has been one follow up phone call, despite multiple requests. Communication is non-existent. If a product could not be delivered in a timely manner, they need to be upfront and honest.
We will be shopping elsewhere from now on.
Absolutely appalling customer service.
I purchased multiple nursery goods and it took Baby Bunting three attempts to delivery the goods. Making multiple excuses for their poor delivery services. Apparently asking a customer to take 3 days off work to accept the goods was acceptable. Very much an overrated. Shop elsewhere.
Avoid avoid avoid
I recently purchased a maternity + nursing pillow. We were in lockdown so I purchased via click and collect. Upon receiving my deflated bean bag. I contacted them the day I received it, and said it wasn’t in a sellable condition. The seams were splitting, there ended up being two stains, lots of dust and tiny black hairs on the item. Unfortunately they won’t give me a refund nor will they give me a store credit as the item has been open. Not sure how else I would be able to find a fault in an unopened product.
Considering it was meant to be a...$100 pillow and I’ve had to leave it in store. I would avoid shopping with this company entirely. Terrible customer service and terrible quality products. I have emailed head office, but again they do not pride themselves on customer service.
Watch their 'sales pitches'
We recently spent over $4000 at Baby Bunting when they had a sale on recently where you could receive a voucher per $x spent. Given we had spent so much, we were entitled to a $250 voucher if we spent $1500. We received that voucher, but expected to receive $500, given the amount we had spent. Nope, Baby Bunting is refusing and only giving us $250 because it was done in one transaction. That seems a bit ridiculous considering we could have just completed two separate transactions then and there to get the $500 gift voucher, yet they are refusing to have us the $500 voucher now. Not happy!
Mary had a little whinge
We purchased the Essentials by Tasman Eco Florence Cot Sandstone online. On the website, it clearly states that a mattress is sold separately and the suitable size of the mattress is 1310L x 750W. This is what we purchased and collected from the Bentleigh Store as that is the only store where both were available for collection.
When we got home, we removed the plastic on the mattress and put it in the cot. It was too big and didn’t fit as it needed to be a size smaller. As Doncaster is our closest store, we took the mattress to the store.
It wasn’t their problem, apparently.
Went into our local Baby Bunting store at Capalaba to purchase our first bubs pram as we noticed it was on sale so thought great time to layby and as they discussed we can layby sale items. Upon asking the staff and going to set up a layby she advised the price had gone back up and we showed them the sale price online that we had seen and their response was that was an online glitch and it’s not our problem so we won’t match the price for you.
They were very rude stating that it’s not their problem and there is no reason for them to price matc...
Terrible Customer Service - Townsville Baby Bunting
We went into our Townsville Baby Bunting store to purchase a car seat, they advised 2 days before it arrived so we paid the money (nearly $400) and waited. More than 17 days later it is still not here - we have checked 3 times and they keep blaming the trucks. When I asked for our money back today they were so rude about it - I tried to say they should have just told us it was going to be weeks not take our money and promise 2 days. In addition the 3 staff we have spoken to there about this every time have been rude, and dismissive - meanwhil...e they had our money. Finally I tried to get our money back and she wouldn't let me do it because it was my partners card, so I called him - she didn't even verify who he was and then said fine then Ill give you back the money. Terrible Service, lies lies lies and we wont be back.

Racism only Caucasians work here mistreat multicultural customers m pretty sure colleague s. Horrific experience with car seat fitting a lazy lady doing it she is so twisted dangerous frightening. She never fitted the two seats manipulated reasons. If people have mental health issues they should get help not try to spread their illness around.And, please take your medication before work! It’s not going to help you lady. Don’t go there for car fitting!

Every time I visit stores there is NOBODY to help. And then when you go and look for someone they look so annoyed and like you are bothering them. I wanted to price match an item but they said no because it was in NSW so technically I would have to pay for freight on top of the item... are you serious. What an absolute joke. All of the items here are marked up so much. For example a carrier on the clearance shelf with sale stickers all over it for $59.94. On the website of the brand that exact item sells for $59.99 full price
Check your layby!!
We attempted to purchase a baby monitor online (for delivery) as we reside in Kalgoorlie, however could only purchase through click and collect at a physical store. Contacted Midland via phone and confirmed they had item in store. The lady suggested a layby to enable pick up when we were next visiting Perth.
We Layby’d item at cost (on sale) of $339 to enable click and collect when we were next in Perth. Upon collection of layby, I was given the completely wrong baby monitor for a value of $199. The worst part was that the layby had supposedly...been “audited” for correctness. I had to go back to the store to have item corrected and show receipt for correct monitor. Upon explaining what had happened somehow was made out that I was in the wrong for their mistake! How this even happened astounds me as they were completely different monitors! Please double check your layby at collection to ensure you’re getting what you paid for!! It would have been a nightmare had we returned to Kalgoorlie before I’d checked!
I had a Layby at baby bunting and had paid $150 deposit. I forgot about it and it went a week over the date I was due to collect it. I was unable to go instore to collect the item for another week and I asked if I could just cancel the layby. I was advised if you cancel a layby at baby bunting they take your whole deposit. I was blown away that they were just going to take $150 away. I was not happy and made a fuss and ended only being given a store credit for $100 and they took $50. So make sure you are aware of the layby policy before you layby anything with them as no matter how much your deposit is they will take it!

Warner’s Bay Baby Bunting branch is the worst store ever. I bought a product from the store and I noticed that they charged me the wrong price and so I complained. I was still at the store and they will not even want to a refund me.
Scam of best prices
You can find most of their goods cheaper online and will be cheaper if you ship it from overseas paying custom and shipping
Didn't have items in stock and tried to charge me for not becoming a member
I went to the baby bunting store in prestons today and was left very disappointed. The items i was interested in werent available so i was advised to pay a deposit. While we were processing my $2,430 order the lady asked me if I was a member, to which I responded that I wasn't. They advised me that they would charge me a $5 fee for not becoming a member.
What a joke. This is actually illegal. I cancelled the whole order out of principal. Very disappointed.
