A fantastic pram from newborn to 4
I purchased this pram new when my baby was born. We used it with a Maxi Cosi capsule for the first four months then moved him into the pram. From day one he loved it.
My son is now 4.5years old and still goes in his pram for long walks. Last week he even fell asleep in it. I would recommend this to any family with an active lifestyle. We purchased the travel bag and have taken it on several overseas holidays where it has been great. It packs down very easily for travel. Over the years we have also taken it off road, to the beach and walking our dogs to the park most days. It has never let us down and is still in great condition.
Purchased in May 2016 at Baby Bunting for A$699.00.

Excellent Pram
We bought baby jogger city elite three wheels year 2017. We loveD it, easy to fold, easy to use, easy to manoeuvre especially in small spaces. It suits us as we love to walk long distances. Good for running as well. Never had a problem with the pram

Great product, plenty of room, comfortable
We purchased this pram as our child is a little on the larger side. The size and comfort of this pram is amazing! We purchased the special 10th edition and it’s the best thing we have purchased brand new! My child loves getting into the pram. It’s easy to erect and fits easily in the boot of our Nissan x-trail leaving plenty of room for other things. The pram is not the lightest but it’s not too heavy to get in and out regularly. Very smooth to push.
Purchased in October 2019 at Target Australia for A$599.00.

The best stroller
This stroller has to be the best I've come across. Walking everywhere I needed something that would not break down. It has big wheels that haven't punctured, not even rocks leave any dints, the front wheel changes to swivel which is great when walking. It glides over grass without having to push hard, its easy to steer and is soo lightweight that you don't notice you are pushing it, it's soo easy to fold with just pulling the middle and the breaks are up the top on the handle but they aren't easy for a child to undo which is perfect. It's easy ...Read more
to keep clean and the top canopy gives a lot of cover as well as air flow. The baby jogger city elite is worth every dollar and more. It will outlast your child not needing it anymore so you can pass on to the next person who will enjoy it just as much as you did. I give this stroller maximum starsPurchased in September 2019.

Regretful purchase
Ok,so let's start with the positives:
It rides very smoothly and is easy to maneuver with one hand. It will also fit tall toddlers better than most other prams.
On the negative:
- available bassinets are VERY narrow, and my bub had outgrown at about 3 months.
- whilst the seat lies almost flat, 3 months is much to early to put a baby in a forward facing position. I ended up buying a second hand pram with large bassinet and reversible infant seat to use instead.
- when my daughter reached the age of wanting to sit forward facing (8 months), th...Read more

Love it!!
Absolutely love this pram! It’s great for off road and on road! Buy a always looks so happy in it. I love that we can use it as a normal pram or we can use the attachment and use the city to go capsule. It’s in great condition! I have also ran with it a few times and it is comfortable!
Being able just to pull the handle to fold it up is very easy!

My Big 4 wheel drive pram lol
I chose this pram initially because it was large enough to fit a toddler skate board at the back (maybe my arms are just short, but unfortunately smaller prams didn't allow me to reach over and push them and have the skate board comfortably) I also liked that this pram has an extra heavy weight limit so that my 17kg 3 yr old can sit in here/nap in here as well without any space issue or strain on the pram, the snack tray with cup holder which is sold separately is also a god send and the canopy is large to protect from sun etc and stays where y...Read more
ou tell it to, trust me this isn't standard across all prams so check this very thoroughly when you buy one if the shade canopy STAYS PUT .. This pram is absolutely Amazing for taking on walks and 'off road' as it has large wheels and really good suspension, it glides along effortlessly on the footpath/road/mall and I can actually walk next to it and guide it with one hand, so yes it's a big and bulky pram but it is also very easy to use. I take this in and out of my Toyota sedan boot easily enough and I am a smaller person at 5"5 with a bit of a dodgy back, so i mean its probably really easy for someone bigger and of average strength, although it doesn't leave much room for groceries etc even in my large boot, the folding down to put it away or popping it back up is easy as peasy and the only design FLAW I might nit pick on is that the harness/seat belt isn't removable so you can't remove the little arm pads etc for cleaning, but honestly I just hosed the whole pram down once when it was so dirty and left it in the sun to dry and it came up tip top, plus I have a very cute pram liner that didn't cost much to help keep it clean. I do not like the adult cup holder (sold seperately) for this pram as it's expensive, flimsy and awkward and easily knocked as it's hanging out to the side which isn't ok for mad mama's coffee intake needs, but it wouldn't stop me from reccomending it to anyone who's looking for a great quality, heavy duty and multi-purpose pram that is easy to collapse and very luxe to push around. The down side with this pram and I only really know this because my old pram I had for the 1st 2 kids was a much smaller 3 wheel similar in design (but way less of quality) is that this pram is very large and a pain to get into appointment rooms such as dr, or elevators, it is a bit obnoxious in waiting rooms and hard to get around smaller shopping isles, like taking this pram into the $2 shop style shops and not having issues LOL forget it! This is why I name my review '4 wheel drive' do I need such a big fancy pram personally since I am not a jogger/runner? Probably not and they city mini might have actually been a much better choice for me since my son barely used the skate board thing anyway in the beginning and now can walk further than I can less than 2 years after purchase, but if you have the boot space for this in your car and you enjoy going for walks, running, or going to a lot of parks etc where the pram goes off road and you just want ONE pram to do every thing with then I highly reccomend this one, the storage underneath looks small but it's more than enough for the average mall shop or putting stuff for a day out etc..I am tired and my brain feels funny so hopefully my review makes sence to other mum's who are also like what did i just read again?? Lol but in conclusion YES this is an awesome pram and YES I'd reccomend this as a day to day all rounder, unless you have a small boot/hatchback and then I would reccomend going to the store and testing if it will actually fit in your car as it is a bigger pram and I know if I hadn't upgraded from a little mazda astina I wouldn't have been able to have this pram. Oh and also, this pram has a BUILT IN little caddy kind of pockets up the top near the handle for pushing that fits HEAPS of random junk in it so you can have a coffee cup in that, I do! And socks and receipts and wipes and drink bottles and loose change and car keys omg it's an amazing feature I must add on here LOVE IT!Purchased in April 2018 at Baby Bunting.

Amazing device
I bought the baby jogger elite second hand and it’s such an amazing jogger. It’s literally a one arm fold, it’s made of quality materials, has different lock settings for the front wheel, if you want it to lock straight, swivel or move 360.
The sunshade is absolutely huge and has magnetic flaps to keep it open and closed so you can keep an eye on baby, without the flaps moving. Heaps of storage space.
The only thing I would comment on is it’s weight. It’s not super heavy but not lite as a feather either.
I was able to use my infasecure arlo baby capsule via the capsule attachment part. It’s all easy to attach and holds nice and secure.
Love this stroller.

This is an excellent pram, one star off is due to preference - not performance
As someone who changed 5 prams in 3 years, I can tell you that Baby Jogger City Elite comes as a second-place only to BABY JOGGER CITY MINI GT . The main reason is that they are both very comfortable, practical, easy to clean, great brakes, good looking, easy to store, open and close, have a good amount of storage and available accessories that could fit the pram (both 3rd party and first-party). City Elite is great and easy to manoeuvre, and for those who want to run and push the pram, this is a good choice as it absorbs bumps and it is a pleasure to steer.
Purchased in June 2010 for A$700.00.

Decent
Pretty good pram as a whole but after about 6 months of use the brakes failed from the springs popping out and was about $80 to replace it. Other than that it’s been a good pram, easy to use, easy to pack away and set up just wish it fold into something a bit more compact

Great upgrade from the MiniGT
Previously used the MiniGT and the larger wheels make travel around roughly terrain so much more comfortable and pleasant. The one handed fold is super useful but I wouldnt recommend this unless you planned to get out a lot because it is significantly heavier than the MiniGT. I also used the compatible rain covers and worked a treat.
November 26th 2019 Update: Great pram - 6 years and still in excellent condition
Great all rounder for both the city slicker and the off roader. Couldn't complain about anything. This pram is heavy and bulky so will take up the bulk of the space in your boot.
Purchased in August 2013.

Hi I have a city elite pram years ago for my son but now have another one on the way, I just want to know what bassinets are compatible with the city elite please? I bought one second hand but they’re the wrong adapters for it.

The City Elite is compatible with our Deluxe Bassinet.

The Deluxe Bassinet is sold with the adaptors that you need to attach it to your City Elite.

Hi, I am looking to buy a Baby Jogger City Elite 2. Can you please let me know if the existing Baby Jogger Compact capsule (approx 2 years old) is compatible with the new model pram?
Thank you!

Sorry I mean the Compact Bassinet. Or the Deluxe Bassinet. Have found both listed as compatible with the City Elite, but no mention of whether they are with the City Elite 2 or not.
Thanks!

Hi Guys,
Have a baby jogger Elite 2017 Model. How do you take off the straps to be able to fit a pram liner? or Can't this be done?
3 answers
Hi, did you end up finding out if this can be done? I was just given a pram liner and trying to fit it now
No one replied. But it couldn’t be done. I had to get a new one made instead with clip buttons. So annoying. Least I can use the first one with my select so not all was lost.
Ah thanks for letting me know. I’ll stop trying haha
