Disappointed
Disappointed that this is what you get for an $800 price tag.
We purchased the babybee duo and had issues clicking off the brake system, and the basket not folding properly. When contacting customer service they simply told us that this is the way the brake system works, and that we had overloaded the basket. In other words - nothing we can do for you.
What's the point of a 3 year warranty if the supplier just argues that the fault is with us?
Very disappointed to pay a premium price, and receive a sub par quality pram.
Purchased in August 2019 for A$800.00.

Lovely pram, so easy and light to lift in and out of car and folds down nice and small! Will definitely hold on to this one for next bubba! I always get comments about how nice it is! The wheels are smooth and also good shelter from the wind etc!

6 months down the track and we have had wheels fall off, the Frame creeks and the wheels rattle. Babybee requested some photos which was then shown that the frame needed to be replaced. After fighting this for months and having to buy a new pram I requested a refund instead of new frame. Which w...Read more

be using) I feel no longer safe using! Maybe on your description of pram you should say “if you live near the beach not suitable for you” and if the rattling wheels etc is normal you might want to add that in there too as it’s hard for a baby to sleep in it. Did you look at my video? What an embarrassment walking with that racket going on. Great refund policy you got going thereSimilar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Customer Service Poor
I purchased a BabyBee Pram. I emailed the next day and asked for the order to be cancelled as I had been given another Pram. I was told the order was suppose to ship that day but they would try to stop it. Obviously the Pram was sent because it is SO hard to ring the dispatch and ask for them to remove that. They can only email them and hope for the best.
The Pram arrived a week later and I declined delivery as advised. This shows on Australia Post tracking. By showing this, I clearly have never had any contact with the Pram, opened it up etc...Read more
and it is on its way back to sender. Now the Pram is missing, sent to Melbourne, then back to Brisbane and now just hanging out somewhere unknown, and I’m continuing to have Afterpay payments deducted. I contacted BabyBee customer service who tell me they will get back to me when they hear from Australia Post. I contact Australia Post who tell me that they can’t help me and the sender needs to deal with them and lodge a claim for a missing item. So I email BabyBee and explain our financial situation has changed and I can’t afford to continue to have these payments deducted and desperately need the refund. BabyBee never even acknowledge this. Obviously I’ve never touched the Pram and it is now their responsibility now that it is being returned to them. They need to lodge a claim with Australia Post, yet they believe it is acceptable for them to continue to charge me and refuse to refund until they hear back from Australia Post which could take days or weeks at the moment.1 comment

Worst Pram Ever- Do Not Buy!!!!
Worst pram ever. We bought this pram thinking we didn't need to spend a lot on a good one. How very wrong we were. Within THREE weeks, the basket broke, the front wheels would lock automatically so it doesn't turn anymore, the whole pram wobbled and squeaked, I could go on and on. The customer service is APPALLING. They have literally told me that it isn't sustainable for their business to give refunds even though the faults with the pram are major safety hazard faults. There is no number to call to resolve any issues. I have ended up taking it...Read more
to department of fair trading and it still hasn't been resolved. I have now been in contact with other customers that have had same issues (after the company telling us ours were stand alone issues) and taking it to a tribunal in order to get our money back. I have also been let on that their reviews are paid reviews, hence the good rating. Yet to meet someone happy with their Babybee pram. We buy prams for our first bub thinking it'll last the life span of us having babies and using the same pram throughout, however if after 3 weeks these are the issues I encountered, I would hate to see the problems years down the track. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra little bit of money and buy a pram that will last the distance and keep your baby safe. If you read through the reviews, majority are customers happy with the pram once setting it up in their house and using it in controlled environment, not many on the longevity of the pram and use of it outdoors in a realistic setting. Do not buy!!!!!Purchased in July 2019 for A$850.00.

Nothing but issues
I have had nothing but continuous issues with my Babybee Rover. Straight from the box was a broken wheel and stained bassinet lining. My Babybee came without the safety strap on the handlebars which once reported they sent me and told me to try and tie it on. The seat liner continuously slides down and takes my daughter with it. The basket clips always comes off when folded and Babybee's recommended solution was blutack! Most recently the handlebar bag I purchased ripped and can no longer be used and they said they offer no cover or warranties on accessories so too bad so sad. I would 110% NEVER recommend Babybee Prams to anyone, nothing but disappointment for me.
Purchased for A$599.00.

Poor Quality Product
You get what you pay for. There is a reason why the Rover is half the price of the other brands' products and that is because it is half the quality and lacks quailty and longevity that you get with more well established brands. I don't believe their cheap price is due to the cutting out of retailers, as there are several good quality products at the same price point as the Rover.
Pros:
- looks good for the first few months
- cheap price, although this matches the quality
Cons:
- can't try in a store before you buy and while they offer a 90 d...Read more

Really short seat height and hard to get put up and down.
This pram has an really short seat height, my 6 month old is already placing her head on the canopy fabric. There isn’t much space for her to grow, without her head being placed right up on the canopy fabric. Also it’s an absolute pain in the head to get up, the leavers on the side get jammed all the time; I find myself really questioning if it’s even worth getting the pram out of the car because of how much of a pain it is to put up and down. It’s really a shame because it’s such a beautiful pram and a good price.
Purchased in August 2018 for A$800.00.

Hi Hayley
The pram has been designed to fit the average 3 year old. You can move the canopy connectors higher up the frame to give them a little more room under the canopy (an additional 5cm).

Looks great but that’s about it.
I bought this pram after reading all the amazing reviews on the Babybee Comet. Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the Rover.
The steering is very heavy and you need two hands to push the pram at all times. This might be ok if you aren’t use to a light weight pram or pram with front suspension. But if you’re like me and use to pushing a mountain buggy or a quality pram then this is not going to impress you.
We took it to the botanical gardens and found it so hard to steer especially on unlevel ground. The pram tipped trying to ...Read more
push it over a speed bump in the car park. I emailed the company and they responded with.... “Our prams are designed for the urban environment, and while they can take a little mixed terrain, we don't recommend using them on uneven surfaces or grass/dirt/sand etc. As you have pointed out your Mountain buggy is a more suited all terrain pram, due to the three wheels (the bigger the better) with air-tyres or foam filled tyres (which give the performance of air tyres without the punctures). As we are unable to offer a "change of mind" return and if you don't wish to continue using the pram, I suggest trying to sell the pram on an internet platform. Facebook has many pram pages where mums are always looking to purchase (which is free to sell), otherwise Gumtree or Ebay is also a great option” Lucky for me I was able to sell the Rover on the Facebook market place but lost $200. I then purchased a Uppababy Cruz and couldn’t be happier.1 comment

Hi Aubrie,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We welcome all customer feedback, although we regret hearing that in this instance the Rover has not met your expectations. ... Read more
The Rover is built with maintenance-free rubber wheels, as opposed to our Comet range which include air-tyres for the rear wheels (better suited to various ground), which is most likely why you may have been drawn to the reviews of the Comet. As you have identified, the Rover is designed for the urban environment. Four-wheel prams will be harder to push than three-wheel joggers when it comes to uneven terrain, so we do apologise that we were unable to rectify this issue for you. In regards to tipping, 4 wheel prams are by far the safest option available and I can assure you that the Rover has passed the multiple tests in regards to tipping on various angles under the Australian Safety Standards. It’s possible that if going over a speed bump where all 4 wheels are on different levels and not balanced, this has the potential for any 3 or 4 wheel pram to tip. We are however, pleased to hear you were able to sell your Rover pram, albeit for a second-hand price, and purchased a pram that better suited your individual needs. We understand that different families have different needs and that our products won’t always be the perfect choice for every family. However, we do still aim for 100% customer satisfaction so if there’s anything at all we can do for you in the future, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us. We wish you many happy adventures in your new pram. Cheers, BabybeeSimilar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!
Questions & Answers
Catherineasked
Hi when will the version 2021 coming out? Thanks

Thanks for your question!
Feedback from the 2019 model ROVER has been really positive (plus we just won the ProductReview award for best 4 wheel pram!).
The product team is discussing some minor cosmetic changes to the ROVER, however, any new model wouldn't be expected until at least the middle of the year.
I hope that helps, but please let us know if you have any other questions by emailing us at hello@babybeeprams.com.au - we're here to help!
Catherineasked
Can you get a hook on the pram and hook your own bag on it?
2 answers
I think you can - yes. But I didn’t worry about it because there’s so much room underneath to put your nappy bag and the pram also comes with a detachable handlebar bag to fit phone, wallet, coffee, baby accessories in should you want them close at hand.
Babybee P.Babybee
Hi! Thanks for your question! We do recommend just using the provided handlebar bag on our prams - our ROVER has a handlebar weight limit of 1kg, and our DUO2 has a limit of 2kg. There are also lots of pockets and plenty of room in the basket to pop all your essentials and more! I hope this helps, but please contact us at hello@babybeeprams.com.au if you have any other questions - we are here to help!
Krystal D.asked
Hi there, just wondering if there are any plans of creating canopy colour packs for the rover 19? Similar to what’s available for the discontinued comet range? Thanks

Hi Krystal! We don't have anything coming, but I will pass on the suggestion to the product development team, they are always looking for customer feedback and suggestions.

- The compatible capsule was straightforward and non-fiddly, with one reviewer commenting that it ‘clicks perfectly into the pram conversion brackets’

All this praise can’t go unacknowledged. Accordingly, the Babybee Rover has won a 2021 Award for Best 4-Wheeler Pram. Its highest scores were awarded for its excellent manoeuvrability and value for money.

Hi Erika,
hich means that when you engage the brake, it moves a pin into the wheel cogs, which locks the wheel into place, stopping your rear wheels. If you engage the brake whilst the cog is obstructing the pin, it will not completely engage until you move the pram (a gentle rocking movement will work), allowing it to slot into the correct position. This system is very popular with prams and whilst there are pro's and con's to both types of brake systems, the other system which uses wires typically has far more issues and can require regular servicing whereas fixed cog brakes should outlast your pram. Thanks for taking the time to review our DUO and I'm sorry to hear you're not loving your Babybee as much as we want all our customers to love their pram.
