Excited about using
I ordered the Babybee Rover because of it being lightweight and simple to set up and use. Our baby arrives in March, but both my husband and I are excited to use the rover. I even took it for a test run with our dog to see how he would walk with it and both him and the Rover were a dream. Let’s hope when baby arrives it is just as easy to use!

Good everyday pram
Purchased the Babybee Rover with bassinet during pregnancy. Ordering and delivery was efficient & the pram easy enough to assemble. The pram is light enough to easily move around but it is on the bulky side (note: the frame & bassinet fills the entire space of our Tiguan's boot).
Now that baby has arrived, we have been able to take it outside & have found it easy to push and feels smooth on flat surfaces. The wheels do feel a little uneasy on uneven surfaces and they sometimes make a "rattling" noise even though they feel stable.
Would recommend this pram to anyone looking for an affordable & attractive looking option, as long as you do not plan on taking it "off road" very often.

Good all round pram
It doesn't drive well on all terrain, good city pram though on sealed pathways. Suspension is really good, compact, reclines flat which is great for baby sleeping. It doesn't fold well in one piece especially when parent facing. But it it easy to disassemble and it is light weight. Not sure if it will last be long enough in the seat when baby gets older. Looks nice and stylish and quality of the frame is really good for the price!

Really great pram with a few small design flaws
Overall this pram is fantastic. Having the bassinet, stroller seat and capsule compatibility ensures a seamless transition for your little one as they get older. The steering and handling is smooth and it's incredibly easy to manoeuvre. The added accessories are great and the grey and brown combination looks sleek and stylish. I love how soft the linings are, and are machine washable. The adjustable handlebar makes it easy to transition between dad and mum pushing the pram.
My only complaints about this pram after 6 months of use:

Beyond Impressed!
Our little babe is not due until early march but we have set our pram up already and couldn't be happier.
It looks and feels great. The quality is amazing!
When first setting it up we noticed a rattling in the pram structure. When manufactured a piece of plastic must have fallen in causing the noise. I contacted babybee straight away and they sent out a replacement for this section of the pram. Babybee have been easy to deal with and very prompt with their responses!
I can't wait to actually use the bassinet once the baby comes along.

Great pram
Folds down very easily and fairly compact. Can fit the pram + bassinet in our boot (Toyota Camry) with room for groceries too.
Looks nice, easy to manoeuvre, and has a good basket size.
Would be nice if the bassinet were a bit more sturdy and could support the baby's weight using the handle, rather than needing to take her out of carry the bassinet from underneath.
Overall, happy with our purchase.

Easy to steer and super comfy for bub
Love the assembly and disassembly, good width, drives easily with one hand, suspension is comparatively good, super comfy for bub, great storage and looks flash! Improvements could be made to have the wheels a big lagers for going on rough terrain, bubs arms get stuck between the pivot point of the shade cover and the attach point for the belly bar and the peep hole on the shade cover needs a magnetic or similar fastener on the flap as the weight isn’t heavy enough and blows around in the wind. I am super happy with the pram overall and the price and customer service were a winner for me!

Game changer
We are so happy with the Rover - more importantly, so is our daughter. She loves being higher up and being able to see around her, and seems really comfortable. We previously had a three wheel stroller so I have struggled a little with steering on some terrain but overall we are very happy with it.

So happy
Love our Rover. Had a Comet prior and there’s noticeable improvements with the Rover (belly bar opens and closes, adjustable handle, better maneuverability, sturdier material, smoother ride). My only complaint is the canopy could be bigger.

Stylish, well built pram with good accessories and value for money
Hi all,
Firstly, I am only reviewing this pram having just received it without a chance to actually test it in the real world (bub hasn't arrived yet..)
I just wanted to write my initial thoughts for those that might find this helpful, since there are quite a few reviews on here.
One thing I noticed is there are quite a few sponsored reviews so just be aware of that (a bit under 50% i think). This isn't necessarily a bad thing however as I understand the need to incentivise people to review products, particularly for a business that relies s...
Read moreo heavily on online reviews and word of mouth. You can filter this on this website. Overall, we think the pram is great value, stylish and ticks the boxes we are after. It is a medium to full size pram that looks like it will be useful in a variety of urban/grass terrain. It is not a super light travel pram, but definitely on the lighter end for similar prams in its class. We will likely buy a cheap travel or umbrella stroller for quick shopping centre trips and use the Rover as our daily driver. We also considered the Redsbaby prams and visited a demo day and prefer the Rover. The Redsbaby appears to be a more popular pram, at least in my neighbourhood but the build quality of the Rover feels slightly nicer, particularly the wheels, suspension and seat/bassinet liner. We also found the fold on the Rover much easier. Also comes with more accessories i.e. handlebar bag.Purchased in July 2020.

Hi June,
Thanks so much for taking the time to review....
Read more We are aware of these other models, but are not in any way associated with the companies. We believe that they are potentially an international distributor and not a pram company with a presence in Australia. They appear to have a number of "copy-cat" products that look very similar to other leading brands both in Australia and globally. This stroller model appears to be similar to our 2017 ROVER model, which we discontinued and replaced with the 2019 version. The 2019 model has some key differences based on feedback from over 10,000 Aussie families so it's not an exact replica of what were currently selling. Unfortunately, this seems to be commonplace in the stroller industry. If you have a look at ebay you'll see a lot of knock-off Yoyo and Cameleon strollers, but there are no guarantees around quality of manufacturing or materials, safety testing and control procedures or after-sales support. For anyone looking to purchase this model, we would strongly encourage to first check that it does at a minimum comply with the Australian Safety Standards. Check the warranty period provided, whether parts and accessories are also available for purchase (outside of any warranty period) and whether they offer any customer service (outside of the retail store) and of course read any customer reviews about the specific brand and product. Thanks again for the review, we hope you enjoy your ROVER!! Babybee Teambmellington88Greater Melbourne (Outer), VIC

Great value pram
So easy to put together, and really easy to fold up. Folds up reasonably small to fit in my hatchback. Great manoeuvrability and nice and sturdy. My only grievance is it can be quite a bumpy ride on gravel/uneven surfaces but overall it’s a pretty good pram.

Beautiful pram
This pram not only looks beautiful but it is so nice to push around, its very smooth and easy to push around with one hand. It’s super easy to open and close. The only thing that I would change is the opening of the basket is at the front of the pram and I would personally prefer it at the back.

Good value and nice design, comes with everything you need.
It is great value for cost. It is easy to maneuver on all terrains and I’m happy with suspension. I think it compares very well to Redsbaby and has more inclusions. I think it can be tricky to fit in my Golf and I might have preferred a more compact pram but it is comfortable, light and well made. Overall very happy with the purchase. I would recommend buying closer to birth so you can try and return if not for you. Also try other models in store as I had no idea until using what I would like. I think if I have another child I might wish I got ...
Read morethe Duo but the Rover works well for now and planning to use the toddler bar. Edit: 29/07/20 The more I have used this pram, I do wish I had bought something different. Seeing other prams I would prefer something more compact. I also prefer strollers with newborn seat insert rather than the bassinet. My almost 4 month old baby hates lying flat and has done since fairly early on. My friends can put their babies in the seat that can be angled so they can see out but they are also held securely. In the babybee seat she is still too small to sit comfortably but is happier seeing out. Recently the front wheels have fallen out when I remove it from the car and the shade wiring has popped out at the bottom. We haven’t used the pram in a rough way, just at the shops and around the block, so this is disappointing. I think the issue with the return policy is that you can only try it at home but you need to use it out and about to know how it will work. I just wanted people to know this perspective as there are all glowing reviews and this swayed me in my decision to buy without looking into other options. That being said, I think babybee are very good to deal with and I know my friends who have used the Rover have been very happy with it. It’s just not what I would have chosen in hindsight! I would have preferred to spend a bit more to get the right model as it is such an important purchase but I can’t really afford to replace it.Purchased in October 2019 for $719.00.

Its a nice pram, sometimes the wheels lock up which is annoying but the materials are nice. Basket is my favourite part. Its a bit annoying to fold sometimes it takes a couple goes.

Fantastic, stylish pram
I bought this pram new on afterpay (very affordable), I find it handles very well on most surfaces but definitely prefer the solid wheels to the ones you inflate with air. We also have a Steelcraft and my son much prefers the babybee, the ability to face towards and away is perfect for him. It has over time become "creaky", I suspect from rocking to sleep when out and about. This is the only fault I can find on the pram and will be selling to purchase the "duo" from babybee to accommodate my toddler & newborn.
Purchased in April 2018.

Overall very satisfied, a few flaws
I purchased this pram in June 2019 after inspecting it in person at Babybee warehouse in West Footscray. I have now used it for 7 months with both the bassinet and the seat. While I am an overall happy customer, there are a few design flaws which Babybee should improve with their next release.
Negatives:
- the wheels slightly rattle on uneven surfaces (I used to notice it at first but now I've gotten used to it)
- the canopy on both the bassinet and the seat could be improved with a magnetic flap so the peekaboo window stays in place on windier...

The pram with everything
The Babybee Rover comes with everything you could possibly need in a pram. It performs well on all surfaces, be it footpaths, gravel, or even grass. I cannot fault the stylish look of this pram, but even with the seat liner there was no real softness to the seat, a more padded insert would have been preferable. While I am overall very satisfied with my purchase, there is one design fault I feel I must point out, the canopy my be generous in size, but I find it constantly fails to lock firmly into place when open. The failure of the canopy to stay firmly in place when open is more of an irritation, rather than a serious problem. I d

Hi Rebecca,

In regards to the canopy this shouldn't be happening and it may be that the tension in the fabric is too tight. Try fully extending then...

Almost Perfect
+ Looks are perfect. I can tell you, it can NOT look cooler.
+ Movement is a breeze. However, in malls if the titles aren't even, it can do a very light dance.
+ In parks on mulch and rough surface, one of the front wheel can start to panic and make ugly noises (doesn't go with the look and profile of the pram AT ALL).
+ My son just sleeps through on it, extremely comfortable for him (just a month old now). The mesh cover and rain covers fit and work perfectly.
+ Pockets and storage are aplently.
- I've experience smoother, easier folding mechanisms. It's not bad for the Rover 19, but could've been smoother I guess.
- Smaller folded size would've helped. Would've like it if we could've folded it while it was facing us.
Purchased in August 2019 for $585.00.

Hi when will the version 2021 coming out? Thanks

Babybee P.Babybee
Thanks for your question!
Feedback from the 2019 model ROVER has been really positive (plus we just won the ProductReview award for best 4 wheel pram!).
The product team is discussing some minor cosmetic changes to the ROVER, however, any new model wouldn't be expected until at least the middle of the year.
I hope that helps, but please let us know if you have any other questions by emailing us at hello@babybeeprams.com.au - we're here to help!
Catherineasked
Can you get a hook on the pram and hook your own bag on it?
2 answers
I think you can - yes. But I didn’t worry about it because there’s so much room underneath to put your nappy bag and the pram also comes with a detachable handlebar bag to fit phone, wallet, coffee, baby accessories in should you want them close at hand.
Babybee P.Babybee
Hi! Thanks for your question! We do recommend just using the provided handlebar bag on our prams - our ROVER has a handlebar weight limit of 1kg, and our DUO2 has a limit of 2kg. There are also lots of pockets and plenty of room in the basket to pop all your essentials and more! I hope this helps, but please contact us at hello@babybeeprams.com.au if you have any other questions - we are here to help!
Krystal D.asked
Hi there, just wondering if there are any plans of creating canopy colour packs for the rover 19? Similar to what’s available for the discontinued comet range? Thanks

Hi Krystal! We don't have anything coming, but I will pass on the suggestion to the product development team, they are always looking for customer feedback and suggestions.

Points of praise for the Babybee Rover:
- The most outstanding feature that reviewers raved about was the easy manoeuvrability of this pram. One reviewer commented, ‘…I can literally move the pram with one finger. So smooth!’ while another stated, ‘A breeze to operate.’
- The lightweight design also made the Babybee a pleasure to handle on a daily basis
- The compatible capsule was straightforward and non-fiddly, with one reviewer commenting that it ‘clicks perfectly into the pram conversion brackets’
- Ease of assembly was appreciated by a number of reviewers
- For a four-wheeler pram, the Babybee Rover made small work of manoeuvring more left-of-field surfaces, including dirt tracks. It was described by one reviewer as being ‘farm-life tested.’
- Many reviewers appreciated the aesthetic of their pram, and were proud to display it in public.
All this praise can’t go unacknowledged. Accordingly, the Babybee Rover has won a 2021 Award for Best 4-Wheeler Pram. Its highest scores were awarded for its excellent manoeuvrability and value for money.
