After installing these straps to my TV I found that the plastic fittings that screw to the wall or TV stand do not have the strength to stop my TV from tipping over. I have a 50 inch TV, so nothing out of the ordinary. I tested the straps by carefully tipping my TV forward, and the part where the strap hooks around the fitting just bends and the straps slip off.
I checked the website and packaging for any size/weight limits, and nothing is mentioned. With the straps installed on my TV there is some extra length, so I would think they're 'des...igned' to fit larger TVs than mine. However I would not trust the plastic fittings to support anything larger than a 20 inch monitor. It's not so much because they are plastic, but because of the poor shape and design. I implore anyone looking for safety straps to avoid these. I will be heading to my local Big W to pay twice as much for some Crest straps, which I should have done to begin with. Cheap Plastic fittings cannot support the weight of TV
