Expensive cheap fittings?
As someone who bought this cot second-hand for occasional use for my grandson, I suppose my review has a slightly different focus than the usual. It initially seemed a great cot and I assumed that the surprisingly flimsy, cheap, plastic fittings for the drop side would at least mean they would be easy/cheap to replace. The tiny spring clip I was after looked like it was made from the inside of a biro and the brown plastic clip (like the slider on the side) is a brittle cheap plastic.
Unfortunately i was very unpleasantly surprised when I tried...
Fine cot but has some strong disadvantages like the unreliable front rail and the bars that are a bit wide.
Nice cot for any bub. Its very sturdy. Its light weight so easy to move around. Just a basic cot that does suit any nursery.
I found the front rail not very easy to put up and down. It gets stuck sometimes. The technic used is a bit wrong. Also, bub does get his leg stuck every now and then between the bars. I think this is probably with a lot of cots but still, its not that great when he cries and has his leg stuck...
