I love the miosoft nappy!
I love Bambino Mio’s miosoft nappies! They’re so soft and gentle against my babies’ skin and a great break from disposable nappies that contain so many chemicals. They fit really well, I’ve had no leaks and no nappy rash! These nappies fit into all of my different covers so I never have to worry about finding a new nappy. The miosoft nappies have lasted me from birth till toilet training on my eldest and I am using them again on my second child. I would recommend these to all parents wanting to try cloth nappies.

Most absorbent I have tried and less bulk on your little one which helps when they are learning new
I got a sample of these heavily discounted before #1 was born. I have tried several other brands, particularly all in one nappies ranging from bamboo-based through to micro-fleece. These have been the most reliable nappy I have used. The cotton-based cloth has proven to be much more absorbent. I have had to replace only two nappy covers for the 9kg plus as #2 has made a bit of wear and tear.
Because of the fitted approach, you find less leaks/mess thank if using all in ones, particularly on smaller babies and it is easier for smaller babies...
A good cloth nappy that I would recommend to others. They fit nicely on my baby and aren't too bulky which I like. I would recommend buying more than 3 covers though, especially if you have a baby that poos a lot!
Very easy to use, just like a disposable, not too big and bulky for baby when wearing them, unlike some of the all in ones. I like that the cover can be reused (provided no runny poo gets onto it) and you only have to change the inside part of the nappy. They can be soaked in whitner and they have not stained (yet!). Can be stacked ne...
These gave my newborn the worst nappy rash after only using them a couple of times. Even the MACH nurse was upset by the rash and told me to stop using whatever I was using. I strip washed them then started using liners I made from microfleece. This helped but I very quickly bought a stack of other nappies and have since not used the Bambino Mios again. It is a pity as I think the cover is very well made and a good fit. We did grow out of the newborn size very quickly though - by about 4 or 5 weeks of age.

I have 3 children in nappy’s. My 2 year old wears them at night only, I find as long as he has the right size cover and the nappy folded the right way I never get leaks. My 18 month old is in them full time and her poos do get on the cover occasionally (but never leak onto her clothes). However in summer I can’t have her in just a nappy because the Velcro is too much fun to undo – but as long as I leave pants on her it’s no problem. My 3 month is also in them full time, I haven’t had a poo leak yet, but I have had 2 or 3 wee leaks at night. Eve...n though he is not 7 kilo’s yet I will have to put him up to the larger nappy insert, which means I’ll probably have to buy more because I’ll have them all in that size. I haven’t had any stain yet, but I do keep all the soiled nappy’s and covers soaking in my laundry sink until I wash them every 2-3 days. I also found I needed around about 6 covers in each of the respective sizes (however you could get away with less as they get older and poo less often) which would have been pretty expensive to buy from a store, which I didn’t. The best thing I found about Bambino Mio’s is there were plenty on eBay that wear practically new and ALOT cheaper. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that genuinely wants to use cloth/reusable nappy’s, because although the modern reusable nappy’s are definitely much easier than the older style square ones you still need to soak, wash and fold them. If you’re not prepared for that you’ll end up selling them on eBay hardly used. They have a very good fit, doesn't cut in anywhere on baby. With the separate cover and insert you don't need a new cover when it’s just a wet nappy. The booklet they come with has different folding techniques that really are great. The liners you can buy to go with them are fantastic, poos can be flushed straight down the toilet with the liner and I found that my children never got nappy rash, which they did with the older style cloth nappies. The inserts dry very fast. They also fold quickly and stack easily. The larger size insert is suitable for overnight use. I breastfeed and find I have very few poo leaks, just as many as what I experience with disposables. They are expensive for the initial outlay, this partly because you do need to change the cover for 90% of poos. At first they seem very fiddly and a little hard to position the nappy inside the cover, however I found within a week or two this didn’t worry me at all. The smaller size nappy insert (there is two) I find isn’t quite big enough once they get to 2-3 months old to sleep through even though it’s meant to cover right up to 7 kilo’s.
My mum thought I was mad going back to cloth until she saw these. I have used these on my son since he was a month old with no regrets. In fact, I am now buying the next size. Great quality, simple system.
Prefolds is a simple efficient system when used with disposable liners, even DH is a fan. Ihe Bambino Mio cover gives the nappy the most trim fit I have seen on any cloth nappy, like a disposable. I line dry these and rotate a set of 24 so far no rips or stains, like new after 4 months use, honestly. Dries quickly and can be prefolded (with l...
When pregnant I purchased a range of different cloth nappies to try. These are up there with the best. Other types tried were the Tots Bots, Baby Beehinds, Haute pockets and Bamboozles. I certainly recommend them and will be purchasing the larger sizes when my little girl needs to go up a size.
These are very easy to use and clean up really well, especially when teamed with the Bambino flushable liners. Pretty much foolproof and fit really well. Can also stack them so makes storage a bit neater than other fitted nappies. It is also great that y...
* I have used them full-time since we got home from the hospital and love them. My mum bought me a pack to try, they were simple and not too much work so we continued using them and bought more.
* I used 2 dozen size 1's (with 4 newborn covers and 4 small covers). My daughter was very small when we started (2.6kg) so we got good use from the newborn covers (up to 5kg). I think you could go straight to the small covers if you had a bigger baby.
* I am currently using 2 dozen size 2's (with 4 medium covers and will continue to the 4 large cover...
There are much better options out there. I would recommend a multifit pocket nappy as over the long term they are better value for money and easier to use.
They are probably a good choice for a small newborn, when you are changing their nappy all the time, however as the baby grows and sleep for longer you need more absorbancy and more comfort.
Cheaper than pocket or all in one nappies, quick drying
You will need quite a few covers as the poo leaks onto the cover. Both the cover and the nappy pill, which only affects the appearance. The in...
If you had a large number of these and lots of patence they would be great. I wouldnt recommend them for 2 or more babies. They take a little longer than regular nappies to sort out but are nice and soft on babies skin. You need a few giant nappy buckets full of water at all times to keep the flow going. My babies grew out of these very quickly.
You feel good about using these nappies as they are a no waste alternative to disposables.I like that these nappies dry quickly and the star design cover is cute. The are neat fitting and dont dig into ...
I've been really happy with Mio's. They are VERY quick drying (equal to a flat terry), they don't have that residual urine smell even after washing & they fit really well. A definite trial required!
They are very trim fitting, only leak if left on too long (over 3-4 hours) and i have never had a poo-plosion. The gusseted legs are great.
Even though poo doesn't leak, it mostly makes it to the cover and then needs washing. Just make sure you have enough covers to compensate for this. Only other thing is bubs likes to occasionally play with the velcro - hasn't got it undone yet though!
I was very excited about buying these nappies after doing a lot of research. I was sooooo disappointed after I started using them!! I used them for 2 1/2 months solid. I bought 3 Newborn and 3 Small covers and 20 size one prefolds. I think you need double the amount of covers as I was constanly having to wash them after almost every nappy change. I was going to buy the next size nappies but after my experience I bought another brand and I'm so glad I did.
Don't need a cover for each nappy unlike some reusable's. Washed up lovely and clean every...
