Decent credit card with no ongoing fees!!!
I've had this credit card as part of my mortgage package. I opted for this one as I didn't want any ongoing fees for using it. I have been using it for couple of years now for both everyday purchases and online shopping and haven't had any issues so far. The customer service is very helpful and trying to resolve any issues you have. All in all I am quite satisfied with this card and would recommend it to anyone.
this card comes with no fees which helps to save normally annual charges of around $200 to $300. Using this card for a while and have no issues so far.
Great card with Great benefits
My friend refer this card and its fantabulous. This card only has downside that it cannot give you earn points however the benefit of no fees, no international transaction fees and at par exhange currency rate offset that one downside.
Zero fees and very convenient
Have been using the Bankwest Zero Master Card for long time now. The best thing about the card is there is no annual fees and the online app is also very easy to use. I use the card for my day to day shopping, groceries, online shopping and never had any issue.
Great for overseas travel and purchases
We have had this card for about three years, mainly for travelling overseas and making foreign online purchases due to the obvious benefits of a good exchange rate and no foreign transaction fees. We actually terminated another bank's credit card that attracted an annual fee which we had been happy to pay for one reason: An overseas travel insurance that was included! Since the Bankwest Zero Platinum Mastercard includes this for free, with no annual fee, it was a no brainer for us to downgrade to a free Debit card with the other bank in order t...o save on the fee. As for cash advances, we don't use that as it can be a fee trap nevertheless, as per Bankwest's own explanation: "Cash advance interest will accrue daily from the day the money is withdrawn. In addition to the cash advance interest charges [21.99% p.a.], you will also need to pay a cash advance fee for this transaction of 2% of transaction amount or $4 (whichever is greater)."
Cancelled my card and will be closing my account also
Bankwest have no idea of what customer service is. There fees are excessive and it is difficult to access help or customer assistance. I will be taking my banking elsewhere. These guys are just a big Bank in Sheep clothing. Shop around there are many better products out there.
This is perfect, easy to use, no fuss
Easy to use. Alert immediately if there are any unauthorised transactions. Although the card has not been used overseas, I could not see there being any major issue. Long expiry date so you don't have to worry about replacing the card - at time of renewal, a new card is automatically sent to the customer.

Works for me
I have had no problems . It does what it should and I only use it for domestic expenditure and settle it in full at the end of each month so no issues.
Highly Recommend this-Anything to Avoid 28 Degrees MasterCard
I'm comparing my experiences with a previously held product ( being 28 Degrees MasterCard ).
I keep my overseas travel costs on a separate card to the one I use for my Australian life.
This is to protect/minimise fall out from needing to cancel cards due to fraud whilst overseas.
I always pay the full balance owing on an issued statement, at least two business days before the Due Date. Interest Rate % charges are therefore not a concern or factor when I select credit cards. Efficient customer service is one of the leading factors, plus I look for Fee-Free cards. The added attraction with this BankWest card is NO International Transaction/Foreign Currency fees for purchases.
Zero Master Platinum - Excellent card
FEATURES - annual fee-FREE, travel insurance-COMPLIMENTARY, Foreign Transaction fees-FREE, 55 days interest-FREE. Even though it has higher interest, it does not matter for people who pay their balances in full by the due date. What else do you want? I have just applied for the card and I have recommended the card to many of my friends and most of them have switched over to this card. I will be getting my card this week and I am excited to do the first purchase with this card.
I used my credit card overseas and it was crystal clear and simple....
Awesome credit card for those who pay within the 55 days!
Platinum version is the way to go, no annual fees, no foreign transaction fees (for international purchases, eBay, PC Steam account, etc.), free travel insurance (look into this one, have not used it yet), 55 days interest free.
Never paid a cent in 6 years for anything, I always pay it off via Bpay from my mortgage account 2 days before due date, fantastic!
There's a few cards out there with $0 annual fee. I used to have the Virgin (now Westpac Ignite card). This card is great. No annual fee every, 55 days to pay (make sure you pay on time!). Lot of people don't know that Bankwest has now upgraded their product to include a Gold and Platinum Zero card. What it means? That you don't have to pay an annual fee, but enjoy free travel insurance (courtesy of Mastercard), extended warranties and purchase protection. If you don't care about the rewards points, then this has to be the card for you.
This has been a very handy credit card to have as I have never once paid a fee with using it. I make sure that my balance is paid at the end of the month without fail. The credit card comes with no annual fees at all and you also benefit from a lengthy 55 day interest free period on anything you purchase. You do really need to ensure you are paying off your monthly balance though to ensure you do not get slugged with any fees.
A great credit card if you are diligent in paying off your monthly balance. A lengthy 55 day interest free period.
If you don't care about what the card looks like or you use paypal for everything it's fine. I live in a city where there is a 7-11 on every corner and because they all have bankwest atm's in them it makes it easy to access my money. Which is primarily the reason I moved to them and it's the reason I will stay with them.
You can have your savings account linked to the same card.
It is one of the most ridiculous looking cards I have ever seen in my life. (the picture on this site is not the new card http://www.bankwest.com.au/noannualfeecreditca...
Questions & Answers
Where do you get your fees from if this is a "Zero Fee" card? All banks need to make a profit from someone. Where does this card make a profit? Is it from the exorbitant rate of interest if balance not paid by the due date? Or is it from use of the card overseas?
how can i upgrade my zero card to a platinum card
Call them and they will verify based on the parameters that they need to look at.
Could you please tell me what is included in Prepaid overseas itinerary items.
